This was terrific over night stop before returning to UK on the eurotunnel. Family and dog friendly. Great food and drink. Room was lovely and so were the facilities. We will definitely return.

Great for a pit stop with our two dogs … we use this place twice a year …great food! Also has a walking area for the dogs! luckily we booked a suite because you can’t have two dogs and 2 people in one double room … you need to book two rooms or a suite! Also, we were given an accessible room with a wet room, which is not what we were expecting..,. the shower looked dirty and was a pain to use! The bed also wasn’t made correctly and felt like someone had already slept in it! The sheets were that creased!

Fab stay convenient for the Shuttle/Tunnel crossing. Lovely beach nearby for the sunset. Fab restaurant for dinner and breakfast . Excellent service. No queues and very helpful.

Good room. Comfortable bed. USB charging and A/C did not work...though radiator could be turned on so... not a big issue. Hot breakfast buffet was cold.

Convenient for Le Suttle
Very close (5mins) to Le Suttle. Clean. Comfortable. Great for travel with dogs. Part of the bar area is for diners with dogs. Functional. If you want to be sure of dinner advise to book ahead as it can get fully booked and the so called room service is at the hotels discretion. Although we had excellent room service we were told if the restaurant is full room service not necessarily available...so just when you might need it most! Car park is pitch black....good for sleeping in dark rooms but you need your phone torch to walk there.

Brilliant location close to euro tunnel - stayed many times, staff always friendly and restaurant offers great value meals. Lots of parking and great facilities - pool, gym lovely grounds to enjoy. A great budget stop over.

Check in quick as always. Room identical to always! Bed comfort exceptional as always. Dinner ok as we were sharing with one of France’s premier football teams and they were noisy. Car park safe and convenient

The front desk was excellent and helped us with every request. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and probably the best Holiday Inn breakfast I have ever experienced. Parking was free and easy. There is really nothing around the property as far as dining or anything else. Luckily there is an onsite restaurant that opens at 7 pm.

Astonishingly fast check-in. Why are other hotels so slow! Very pleasant young lady. Room was cold (it’s winter) even though the radiator was turned full on. Reception lady found us an electric heater though it would have been nice if it could have been plugged in whilst we were out for dinner rather than just presented to us at reception when we returned. There is a noisy extractor just outside our windows (Room 222) and the the bathroom basin is blocked. Despite these things, the HI Coquelles is still our first choice in the area. We have had relatively few problems over the years of staying here and any issues are always dealt with.

Superior room for 2 adults 2 children was nice & comfy. Walk-in wardrobe was really big but coat hangers were semi broken. Anything heavy would not hang and fall to the floor. Shame there were no hooks on walls despite the massive space. Kettle and coffee machine had short leads so we had to put them on the floor in order to reach plug sockets. Not the best situation with a toddler. Swimming pool was nice but full of unfriendly adults (French/English/Belgium) who made it clear children were not welcome?? Naked man with "stick" (according to my 3 year old) between legs came out of steam room!! What the hell was that? We had to leave obviously. Something not quite right with the leisure facilities! Had dinner at the restaurant and this was one of the most awful dinners we ever had. Cold fries with loads of salt tasted of old oil. Entrecôte was hard, chewy & covered in salt. Ordered green beans but mainly got peas soaked in old oil. Disgusting! Hash brown for my burger was soaked in old oil as well. The only acceptable food was the mince meat patties for my children and myself. Will never eat there again! Also, apart from 1 waitress, the restaurant staff could not care less! We also had breakfast which compared to dinner was really good except for the beans (french tasting) and the sausages which were a bit too salty. We will stay there again but avoid the restaurant!

The hotel is lovely, and so are the staff. There is an unheated pool and a gym, a lobby, a bar and a restaurant. The food is nice and I loved our room. They have a mini fridge in the room, and the rooms are quite spacious. We've had a lovely holiday and we will be happy to come back to the Holiday Inn (Coquelles) again.

Ask for a room away from the litchen
The extractor fan from the kitchen below our room (130) was so noisy I couldn’t sleep before 11pm or after 5am, I called reception at 5am to complain and was told the kitchen has to make breakfast so there is nothing I can do.

Great Place
Lovely place to stay. We looked on Google before booking to ensure there was adequate parking for a Land Rover and a race car box. Parking was great. No issues at all. Staff were very friendly and the room was nice. The food was also good. Great place to stay.

Excellent location for LeShuttle. Polished staff - never a problem that can’t be resolved. Quiet rooms with great beds. Couldn’t get hot water in the bathroom and aircon was ineffective. Good breakfast. Excellent parking

Nice hotel room, food and service horrific
Hotel room is lovely and hotel is in great location for ferry. Food is horrific. Two chicken meals served pink and staff not bothered. No apologies or follow up. Happened to several guests.
