Hi Nitu Great to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. I am sorry if you felt your room was a bit dusty - we clean the rooms ourselves and take great pride in the cleanliness of the guesthouse and always double check the rooms prior to our guests' arrivals. The glass tops of the bed side tables in the room you had can attract the dust if the windows are open and there is a sea breeze blowing. Best wishes Chris & Tamara

Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your stay. Unfortunately we are unable to provide access to our kitchen as it is in our own private accommodation and we have three children to keep safe. We do not plan to add mini fridges to the rooms due to the noise and/or light that they emit.

Hi Steven Thank you very much for taking the time to review your stay. To clarify for people reading your review - the eaves in the room are only over the bottom end of the double bed so you have to duck to go from one side to the other but the rest of the room (bathroom, sofa areas etc) have full height ceilings. We aren't aiming to be a five star luxury guesthouse, as we probably one of the cheapest guesthouses in Falmouth our aim is to offer excellent value for money, with comfortable beds, in a clean room and a very friendly Cornish welcome - we seem to have hit the nail on the head with your stay which we are really pleased about and thank you for your positive feedback. We are sorry that you felt the guesthouse was only "relatively clean". Cleanliness is one of the area we really pride ourselves and all our other reviews are testament to this as we consistently receive 5/5 for our cleanliness across many review platforms. As your review has been left anonymously I do not know which room you stayed in - all our rooms were redecorated over the winter of 2018/9 - therefore it is very hard to respond to your comment that your room was old and "a lot of places are peeling off". We welcome any feedback from guests that stay at Headlands as this has shaped how we have run our guest house for the past 15 seasons. We try our very best to ensure that our guests have an excellent value for money stay in clean and comfortable rooms but we have to accept that, unfortunately, we cannot please everyone all of the time.
