Well-run hotel with perfect location
This was our second stay at the Hotel Marina, and we will go back. We really appreciate the helpful, friendly, multi-lingual staff, the great location right across the street from the beach and close to many good restaurants, and the fact that they are pet-friendly. Breakfast was included and good—lots of choices.

Great location with a nice sea view and great breakfast. I love the lobby. The only downside was that they opened the pool later than scheduled so we couldn’t use it for very long.

Cute little hotel in Roses, Spain
This is a cute little hotel in Roses, Spain right across the street from the town's beach, beach walk, and town center. It was clean and the rooms are large, though the bedding and bathrooms are a bit dated. An excellent and hearty breakfast was included with our stay and because we traveled in the off-season, we were able to find our own parking on the street free of charge.

The room not to good did ask for Seaview but hotel was opposite us had to keep curtains pulled as couple fro hotel can look straight in. Also WiFi was rubbish and don't believe in dogs being allowed in restaurants eating off the owners plates

Beautiful clean hotel with a very nice restaurant and bar. Big rooms with lots of storage and a mini fridge. The best part by far was the breakfast buffet. It was really a nice surprise.

Very nice place, fantastic little town. It is difficult to drive around, streets a very narrow, and parking is extremely hard to find. The hotel has some parking that wasn't available when we checked in, got a spot on day two after asking a couple of people at the front desk (the first person I asked said it was full) - makes me wonder if they had space since we checked in but didn't want to give it to us.

The air conditioning was inefficient - the young man advised us to leave the card in the door all the time . Unfortunately I opened the window and when I closed it the air con turned off whilst we were out . I was advised what to do but too late as the air con took about 4 hours to rev up again. The walls needed a wipe down with a bit of cif to get the dirty marks or stains off - better still repaint . Balcony over a side street a bit smelly ..,

Pool was closed and AC off for the season. Wish we knew this in advance. The room was quite hot, and the traffic noise was very loud when the door was open for air. Unfortunately this is not a property for sleeping in as it is generally very loud. Staff was friendly. Room was comfortable and spacious.

Great Location in Roses
Hotel Marina has a great location easy to find when arriving in Roses, overlooking beach, close to town centre, shops and restaurants and next to tourist information. The roof top swimming pool looked great, but we didn't get chance to use it. The hotel as a Spanish feel which we enjoyed with friendly staff who all spoke English. Good breakfast, nice coffee considering from a vending machine. No sea view rooms available for our 3 night stay in October, but overall we were happy with room and side street view we had, for the price. Lots of free road parking around hotel, but in high season may not be as easy to find, hotel does have secure parking, we were quoted 12 euros per night, but heard someone else quoted 10 euros per night for the same night!! They charged 7 euros per night for our dog, which is average. Would recommend and definitely stay again,

Cracking Hotel.
Cracking little hotel, right on the seafront. Some areas could do with updating, but nothing serious. Staff are very friendly. There is plenty free parking around the hotel, but you can pay at the hotel for secure parking. 10 Euro per night. A bit steep but worth the peace of mind. Breakfast is included , but to be honest it’s a bit hit and miss. Get down too late, and not a lot of choice. The rooftop pool, is fantastic. The only negatives I found were. There are no tar or coffee making facilities in the room. And there is only one electrical socket in the room. But these are just small things. Would I stay again. Yes!!

I asked the hotel to reserve a car parking space (available for 5 euro per night and I would recommend doing it as local parking is limited . In the same email I reminded them that I needed a twin room . However upon arrival we had been given a double room . The only alternative was a dark dingy unrefurbished room reserved for smokers and dog owners and it smelt very much of smoke. It also had a ledge rather than a balcony and no view. Therefore we stuck with the original bright room they had a great view and huge terrace . It was supposedly a partial sea view and it was sideways on but was excellent (room 205) . The hotel manager gave us a free round of drinks to make up for the error which was good. The staff were all very friendly indeed . Breakfast is great , no cooked food but fresh artisan bread, pastries, fruit, artisan yoghurt , choice of meats and cheeses . Superb coffee! As we went slightly out of season, everywhere was shut by 10 so maybe the town is better for older people who want to get up early and go to bed early We stayed as a base for visiting the Dali museums and Cap dear Creus .

We had a most enjoyable stay, as usual, the staff were very helpful and friendly. However, we were most disappointed with the room which lacked comfortable seating but this was, apparently, because our booking was on a promotion and there are different quality rooms. When we booked, we were not aware it was on promotion and spoke to the staff in the hotel about this.

We received a warm welcome at the hotel Marina; the reception staff were helpful and friendly throughout our visit. As we had booked at the last minute, our room was the last one available, and although it was spotlessly clean, it was very small without a sea view. We shall try to book earlier next time, as it would be worth paying a little extra to benefit from the splendid location. We did spend some time on the ground-floor hotel terrace soaking up the sun, and were impressed by the top-floor swimming pool and fitness facilities, although we did not use them. Breakfast was copious and varied, with a good selection of sweet and savory, hot and cold items. Only the coffee (from a machine) disappointed. The location is near shops, restaurants and right opposite the beach. Roses is a picturesque little resort with a safe, clean beach and many other attractions. Worth another visit!

Great family hotel in Roses!!
Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Marina! Family room overlooking the sea, busy corner but soundproofing and good air con so no problem! Excellent choice of buffet breakfast, great pool and bar area and all the staff were very friendly! Great area for beach and town, plenty of bars and restaurants a perfect family holiday! Secure parking for a fee and very tight to get in and out but I would highly recommend this Hotel!! Thanks

Average hotel in good location
Dated rooms but acceptable given the location. The air conditioning appeared to be functional but stopped working overnight which made the room far too hot and stuffy to sleep. It started working again in the morning. The airconditioning system appears to be very old so unsure if this is related to the issue. We only stayed one night and the issue was only evident once we returned to the hotel late so didn't manage to rectify. Can't recommend this hotel based on our stay.
