We ended up leaving early and didn’t stay the 2nd night. The television didn’t work, no stoppers in bathtub, and the hair dryer was arcing when my wife tried to use it. Went to the front desk to talk about the issue and only suggestion was to switch rooms.

Building is in decline. Attention to cleanliness is lacking. Food was under the bed and dirt lined the room. Bed looked washed. Bathroom seemed to be clean. Water seeping from the floor. Signs of water damage in room.

I reserved a bottom floor king room. Was given an upstairs double. The room was full of ladybugs. One bed would flip over when sat on. We ran out of towels and washcloths and were told there were no more. I had to doordash some so we could shower.

Do no stay here unless you carry a gun and a bottle of penicillin Needed room for unexpected family funeral Lobby dark. Nothing looks like the pictures Expedia advertised Never went into our room ...could not find could not see numbers on door There are no lights in lobby or porches Drove around twice. Then left for a safer hotel Pool closed No restaurant but there is a bar Rooms with furniture pulled out and men partying all over the grounds. Loud hollering and roaming about 2 cars up on blocks Later learned this is a local hangout Definitely not for famlies Manager refused to refund I suggest Travel Lodge in Low Moor or Hampton Inn or Douthat cabins

We are on the road to North Carolina and stopped when it got dark to sleep. We wanted to stay somewhere for a value. This room is non-smoking, but has an odor. The bed were made, and I didn't see any bed bugs. I did see bugs in the bathroom and dead ones on the carpet which was not vacuumed. I wish that we would have slept in the car instead.

Everything is worn out and looks unclean. The lobby looked like a messy living room not expecting company. The room had a noisy fridge, little square pillows and worn out bedding. A very loud live band was playing at check in with no application. All in all- like stepping into the Twilight Zone

Pleased
The room they put us in was recently remodeled. It was nice! I would call this a no-frills hotel, but for our purposes (hiking/photography trip) it was perfect. The hotel has a little convenience store kiosk near the main desk, has very nicely arranged furniture in the lobby, and was quiet for our stay. We'll be glad to remember this place for future mountain travels that involve western Virginia. Falling Spring Falls isn't too far away, neither is Douthat State Park and the George Washington National Forest.

The rooms were dirty such as mud on floors the bedding had stains so did the towels bathroom was dirty had to clean bath tub before could use it same with toilet only stay cause only place was available or would have left same night. We actually left early because we was uncomfortable with it all

As soon as my friend and i went to check in the lady was fairly rude. i booked through the booking agency and she had charged my card extra money for some reason. We get to our room and it smelled awful, there were spiderwebs, the pillows were filthy and the sheets were stained real bad, something gross was in the sink and the bathroom was horrible. We didn’t last more than 10 minutes in the room. I go up and tell the lady at the desk were not staying because the room was not clean and all she said was “okay what room number?” i told her and she just said okay and walked away. Honestly not worth the money to spend. There is no excuse for me to spend that much money on a room for that kind of service.

Do not stay here. The pictures have not been updated in a while obviously. The carpet was wet and it smelled musty and moldy. There was water stains on the ceiling and the curtains, there is no Wifi. The beds were uncomfortable. There is no breakfast or meals whatsoever. The area is limited with restaurants, mostly all of them were closed but Doninos and Taco Bell. For the price is it was not worth it.

We went inside our room and it was disgusting. Carpet dirty, window filthy, a hole under the door that anything could crawl into your room, long term people not so clean(dirty bbq grill in the walkway on 2nd floor), bathroom, nasty. Could go on and on. There is absolutely no mountain view. We ended up going to another hotel. We should get our money back.

the property was ok, they were remodeling rooms and the one that cleaned ro0ms was very poor. you adverted free breakfast and they did not have that, which is false advertisement, that was one of the reason for booking this hotel , and for what you charge for the rooms, I feel I should get some kind of refund for your false advertisement.

The website said that it had breakfast and that was one factor for us to choose since we were on a long drive. The hotel clerk said the restaurant had been closed for a couple of months for upgrade but website needs to be updated. The bath towels were stained and vert worn. Some of the staff were very friendly some not so much(maybe having a bad day?). The hotel really needs an updating overall, it looks old.

The most terrible motel we ever stayed at.
This was the worst motel we ever stayed in. The elevator light was not working, the web site said we were to get a continental breakfast and all we got was a paper bag breakfast with a bar, banana, a pudding, raisins and applesauce. That is not a continental breakfast thus false advertisement.. The bed was broken, the blanket on the bed had a hole in the center and did not fit the bed. There was vibration in the room. I found a condom in the drawer of the bedside table. The hallways had scat on them. The towels were worn and ragged. We had a terrible stay.

Had to ask for towels didnt get maid service on second night. Had to get room key reprogrammed every day. Tplet ran all the time and the fridge made noise. Wasn't a good stay won't be booking that hotel again.

Hotel was dirty on the outside stairways dirty no lights in the elevator. Room itself was clean. However, cold water in the bathtub unable to be turned on. Conditioner hanging on the wall in the bathroom was either empty or so clogged then nothing would come out. Although given the internet code, we were never able to access the internet. The continental breakfast that was advertised was a brown bag with some applesauce some breakfast bars some raisins some water and a banana. A very disappointing stay.

If you want to be disappointed in where you spend $150 then book here. Otherwise, find another hotel. The hotel lobby looked unkept (ceiling tiles not fully inserted) and the restaurant was closed. Even though we had reservations, the check-in was lengthy with moments wondering if we were going to have to go somewhere else at 8:00 p.m.. After finding and losing our reservation three times the comment was made "Let me go see if it is ready." She returned with a big fan stating, "I had to pick up my fan on the way." When we arrived in the room it had a musty smell. In summary, the room had experienced a water leak and the carpet outside the bathroom was still wet. There was no hand soap at the sink. The conditioner dispenser in the tub did not work. The Roku TV sound did not work. The wifi did not work so I was unable to complete necessary work. There were no electric outlets by the beds and only one bedside lamp (noticeably rusty and old at the base). The "complimentary breakfast" consisted of a bag with water, banana, small honey bun, apple sauce, pudding cup, granola bar, Nab cheese crackers, and raisins. The desk attendant was pleasant and was checking with management. Management did not answer her calls. Positives: it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The shower water was hot. For the cost of the room we didn't expect the experience we had. We would not return nor recommend this hotel.

The front receptionist was absolutely LOVELY, Although there was definitely some communication issues with the staff. Our biggest issue was the used condom wrapper in the room, showing that the room was obviously not cleaned thoroughly. On top of that the cleaning staff were smoking marijuana WHILE cleaning the rooms. We definitely would not stay here again

Over all was ok. When checking in i waited for 2 min. Before anyone acknowledged me. They were to involved over some kind of reporting system. I reserved a king ground level room! The gentleman at the front counter gave me a room with 2 double beds instead of my king. I was not aware of this until I opened the door. It was a stay for what I had to do, but would not come back here for anything else.
