Was ok. Booked because here was a picture of a fireplace. Planned our night for a fire, only to figure out it was condemned. Huge disappointment. There was only a sheet on the bed, extra linens had brown hair all over them, and we almost slipped and got injured walking with ski stuff at night around to the side of the building. Would not book again.

Misleading description
My wife and I were pretty upset to arrive and see that the fireplace was deemed too old to use by the fire department. The only reason we chose this place over a hotel room was to have our own fireplace. The comforter on the bed was also very old and had tears and rips in it. The living room sofa was completely caved in in the middle and very uncomfortable. Although the location was perfect, the place was very old and not updated. Along with a fireplace that was listed but unusable. We enjoyed the location but did not enjoy the actual condo.

Easy access to lifts, better suited for 2 people (not 4)
We overall enjoyed our stay here. Our main disappointment was that the hot tub was closed for the season. After narrowing down possible condos to a few choices, we selected this place since it said there was a hot tub. After calling the management company about this, the condo description has been changed to reflect that the hot tub may not actually be open. The queen bed was comfortable but the kids were not at all comfortable on the pull-out sofa. The bathroom needs a new fan/vent -- looks like that issue has been reported since January but has not been addressed. The condo could also use a new set of pots and pans but otherwise had all the kitchen items we needed. We liked the easy access to the mountain but would not stay here again with a family of 4.

Location Great...condo not so great.
The location of this Condo is fantastic! The bed and sofa were comfy. We appreciated the floor fan. The unit provided ONE TINY bar of soap, 2 dish towels, NO paper towels and NO DISHWASHER detergent for 2 people on a three night stay. The property is dated. I mention this because the fire place had a paper tag from the local Fire Marshall CONDEMNING the fire place; and my main reason for visiting Crested Butte was for the 1/3 Marathon on July 4th. After runs such as this. I must soak my knees. Full bath implies a tub that one can soak. I am sure it was clean, but the dated fiberglass/plastic Tub/Shower did not look or feel clean. I hoped to use the hot tub but it was not easily found. The directions for parking were inaccurate as we never had a designated parking spot behind the building. We initially had no place to park, nor did we see anyone receiving citations for parking without a required pass directly behind The Axtel. My Crested Butte experience was amazing. I am disappointed my accommodations were not.

Clean with plenty of room for 2 - 3 people with amazing access to the slopes. There is a price to be paid for this access however: For hours, during the middle of the night, the snow grooming equipment is traveling just outside the condo with warning beepers blaring. It can be very difficult to get a good nights rest as it almost seems the alarms from the groomers are just outside the door. (they are). At least during ski season. It seems like it took weeks to catch up on lost sleep upon return home. I slept better on the return flight home than on the condo sofa bed. Unless you are able to sleep thru your wake up alarm at home, bring ear plugs to get a good nights rest. As with everything else good in life, there is a cost to be paid. BMBW visitors

Best location on the mountain. Yes it is a little time-worn, but still better than the hotels. People who can't manage stairs should be aware that there isn't an elevator in the building. Our only negative comment is the bathroom fan frequently comes on with a horrible screech, which generally fades after a minute.
