Gem of a property. Only 30 rooms on a small private island with private beach. Sea view from every room. Our one bedroom was updated and clean. Full kitchen and large balcony gave a real luxe feel. Easy swim or walk to the other side of the lagoon for lively shops, restaurants and beach clubs. We loved it all. Great snorkeling just outside the lagoon. The 2 big iguanas greet you at breakfast, the dolphins swim by and the cats patrol. Easy shuttle or taxi to town for food, shopping, art, culture, history. Downside: beds were very hard, music and parties too loud and go too late at night from other side of lagoon, a few sandfly bites were annoying, restaurants are on island time so don’t be in a hurry. Overall a real relaxing paradise.

We loved the property. It met or exceeded all of our expectations. Parking is a little off site, a short walk over a bridge where you can see many beautiful fish. There was always an attendant available to work a gate so that one could drive up the guest services area if needed for loading/unloading. Our room was very spacious and nicely decorated. The cleaning staff were almost a little too clean as they through out an empty bottle we had wanted to take back as a souvenir. We enjoyed breakfast every morning at the restaurant where we over looked the water. We had a wonderful time and would gladly stay there again. Front desk, cleaning and restaurant staff were all very friendly.

I loved that one side of the site was a beach with the sunrise and the other side was the pool with the sunset. The kitchenette was tiny with a mini bar fridge and nothing for cooking, not even a salad bowl or a kettle

Beautiful area on the extreme SE corner of the island. The room was fine, though it advertised kitchen. This was a microwave and the world’s tiniest refrigerator. So our hopes for doing some of our own cooking were reduced to yogurt and heated-up things. What was strange was that even though the cupboards held dishes and silverware and some basic utensils, there was no place to wash these things, other than hauling them to the bathroom. Within walking distance of several restaurants.

The hotel has a private beach, with the gorgeous water and opportunities for snorkeling and canoeing. Bedding and pillows awesome, mattress very good. Staff has perfect manners. Manager Chris was totally helpful and supportive. Next to aquarium and mambo beach boulevard. Nice lovely place. Will be back again.

It is difficult to compare with other hotels in the area because I have only been to this hotel, but the hotel is very well located, it is in the Mambo Beach area, the hotel is comfortable, ideal to go to rest and disconnect from the city. city and work. The personnel is very friendly.

I read the reviews, but I must have overlooked the fact that this is a timeshare. The rooms were average with a regular tub/ shower combo. It felt like a home vs a hotel experience. They a have a late check in and early check out. If you request a later check out you have to pay an extra fee starting at $25. The shuttles to downtown and the grocery store are very convenient. However, the schedule is very limited. Taxi from the resort to punda are $20 each way and $25 after 11pm. It would be great if the shuttle ran more often. There weren’t many interactive activities on the resort. They of course had kayaking and other things you can do independently but there weren’t any exercise classes, beach parties, live music, or anything. Ola’s restaurant was the best part of my experience. The food was delicious and customer service was excellent. The location of the resort was good. It was in walking distance to Mambo beach. Overall, I wouldn’t go back to this resort.

Loved the proximity to Mambo Beach. Very clean - friendly staff. Restaurant was excellent & we had included breakfast. Could have used a larger fridge. It said kitchenette when in fact it was a bar fridge & a microwave & had to ask for a kettle.

Check in/out was easy. All staff is amazing, polite, helpful, friendly. Hotel is clean. Aquarium is next door. Breakfast is included and there are delicious options with a good portions. The beach has chairs. The water goes very deep right away so not great for very little kids or those who don’t swim at all, will need a life jacket. Great pool area. Hotel does offer some free stuff to borrow, we borrowed a pool noodle. There is a free shuttle to a grocery story (min 4 ppl had to sign up), shuttles to downtown. Mambo beach is 5-8 min walk. Overall we enjoyed the hotel. It was clean and quiet.

Loved it!
Very pleased with our 6-night stay. Restaurant was so good that we had 4 or our dinners there. Very relaxing, not crowded, staff was very nice and helpful. Shuttles to the market and Willemstad were great. Although we came alone, the other guests were friendly which helped you feel relaxed and "at home". Highly recommend this resort. Friday night at Hemingway's provided an evening of dancing and music that topped off our stay.

My wife and I were fairly impressed by the property. Their shuttles to both the grocery stores and downtown were excellent. The staff is exceptionally friendly, front desk, etc. I think the only issue that we had was the fact that they are refurbishing the units, and they were drilling just about every day in the room right next to us. So even though we did not spend a vast amount of time in the room, when we did, it was somewhat annoying. But in their defense, I understand. I was just thinking that maybe they could have put us in a different room where they weren't doing the refurbishing and drilling. That has nothing to do with the fact that the staff was over accommodating and exceptionally friendly. We would stay here again. (After the remodel is complete).

I really liked the Sea Aquarium that was next door. I didn't like the A/C which was hard to modulate. We ended up leaving it on during the day and off at night.

The property is in a great location. It is walking distance to Mambo Beach, Dolphin Academy, and Aquarium. My Ocean view was Amazing. The property was very quiet and maintained. I didnt like the restoration project which was close to me. Lots of noise from next door. There were no restaurants, room service or gym available. But there were some in walking distance.

What a great central spot! Gorgeous big balcony and big apartment… right next to the dolphins:) Samba Beach and the Aquarium a short walk away and your own beach and pools.Curacoa was amazing and a blast. Clear beautiful water and nothing but great people and things to do!
