Did not feel totally safe. Made a reservation for a room with two beds. When I checked in, was given a room with one bed. Took several minutes to get it straightened out. The room was dated, which I can deal with, however the carpet by the bathroom smelled of feces. Had to keep the fan on in the bathroom all night to keep the smell down.

No frills, nice place, good price. Safeway across the street. Had to call phone number to check in, manager was there in three minutes. It was a aTuesday night, not busy, so he gave me a free upgrade to a bigger room.

Large room with all the accommodations I needed. I loved the decoration with charming old drawings, a nice painting and a beautiful picture of the coast. I had a great pleasure talking with owner: very friendly! The only thing is that the motel is close to the road. Fortunately there are not a lot of traffic except in the morning but it was perfectly fine for me although I am sensitive to noise

This is a older motel, however you tell the owners care about their property. Our room was clean and comfortable. If you’re looking for the 4 Seasons, keep going , but if you need a safe room that is comfortable stay here.

The rooms are a bit dated, but functional and clean. Property manager is top-notch. The bed is super comfortable. Definitely gonto Tribune Smokehouse as they're awesome there as well. I'll stay here again

I go to a motel to sleep. The Davenport Motel accommodated that perfectly. The hotel is an older hotel, therefore wasn't expecting the Ritz and it met our needs. Owner was friendly and answered all our questions.

I was unexpectedly pleased with my stay here. The room was clean, with modern amenities normally reserved for hotels. Though they were nearly full at the motel during my stay, I found the room to be quiet and cozy, upon checking in later in the evening it was in the 20's outside, but the room was comfortable and I slept well each night of my stay. The grounds were small, but tidy, well maintained and at night, well lit for safe travels from your vehicle to the room. Motel staff was friendly, check in/out was trouble free and I would definitely return the next time I visit Davenport. Thank you for a very pleasant stay! I would definitely recommend.
