Pleasantly surprised
One night stay bc we needed to be in the area and had our dog with us. The room was spacious with plenty of room to put a dog crate in. The room was super clean and the lobby looked clean too.

Staff was friendly. That’s the only nice thing I can say. Homeless allowed to sleep in the lobby, bed was absolutely the worst. It was not fit to sleep on. People living there allowing their teenagers to run around at all hours.

Friendly Staff
The staff was friendly and overall the room was clean. The towels were very small and well worn. The bed was pretty hard. The rates were a bit high for this hotel ($116/night). We were only there to sleep though and didn't spend much other time in the room.

Pictures were not at all accurate. We left a night early because we didn’t want to stay here. Had to eat the price of the last night and pay to stay somewhere else. This felt like a motel that people lived at. Very loud, unclean.

This place was not my first (or second!) choice, but I couldn’t find another room available anywhere near by. I booked through Expedia. When I got to the hotel they said there’s no way I had a room because they were full. I showed her my confirmation and she rolled her eyes and sighed heavily. There was a $50 deposit that we would get back if we didn’t smoke in the room. I’m not sure how they could tell since it wreaked of cigarette smoke. The room was NASTY! The floors definitely had not been swept or mopped. And the stains on the wall next to the bed were extremely questionable.

The place turned out to be safe, but from the number of people outside in the parking lot that might have or have not been guests was disconcerting. And extremely noise. Can hear doors and tv’s in nearby rooms.

The staff are amazing here but the outside of the property needs some serious landscape work and pave the parking lot again. The inside is ok but could be better updated appliances and redo wiring some outlets do not work inside the hotel which can be a fire hazard.

Everything was sufficient except while strolling the hall seeking a beverage machine, I witnessed a dog in the hallway as well as the pile he left. I informed the manager and she left immediately to resolve the issue.

We chose this property because it was pet friendly and had an indoor pool. The pool doesn't open until May. The AC did not work in one of the first rooms. There was not a table in either. The manager worked hard to satisfy us by relocating us to other rooms. I have a bad knee and could not easily do the stairs (no elevator). Glad we only stayed two nights.

The hotel was under construction. Exsposed wires and bare drywall. The toilet was broke and the shower smelled like mold. There was a cat in the next room continuously meowing. Surprised the hotel was legally allowed to be open and operating.

Terrible room. Metal sticking out from sides of bed. Tv would not work. Magnetic key would not work (every time we returned to room we had to return to front desk to get reprogrammed, they kept asking were we putting keys against electronics or credit cards.) Horribly outdated. Advertised pool but indoor pool was closed in winter.

Our room had black stuff on the floor by the air unit. The walls were spackled in repair. The lobby smelled like smoke even though it was a smoke free hotel. There was a plunger next to the toilet! The exterior had construction equipment and honestly did not feel safe at all. If it is under construction I believe it should be revealed to the renters. We decided not to stay there once we saw the dirt on the floor smell and disrepair of the hotel. I would not recommend it at this time.

Great central location for traveling to Atlanta and Helen. Also loved Dawsonville and being right next to a great shopping mall. So close to any type of food you would want to eat. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Room was large and had a couch. The only small problem we had was room without the AC on smelled musty (so we continued to Frebreeze the room and run the AC) and we saw a few bugs (but maintenance put out bait and swept room). We understood hotel is being renovated and updated. We will definitely plan another trip and stay here again.

Place to sleep for decent price is all you get. No breakfast, multi remotes to work tv and any requests prior to check in are ignored. Indoor pool is closed and door card may stop working at any time. Unless only option will not be staying here again.

My room smells like smoke which meant when I left in the morning I smelled like smoke. Also my shower barely worked. Whoever plumbed it, plumbed it backwards, and though it was a little bit more than a trickle it wasn’t a lot more than a trickle. Although I can’t say that it was filthy I can’t say that it was overly clean either. However the staff was pleasant.

The rooms were very dirty. There was hair on the sink, toilet and tub. There was spilled drink residue on the coffee table. I dont think the room had been cleaned prior to our arrival. I have never left a negative review on any room i have stayed in. If this room cost $50 a night it would be understandable. Sorry for the bad review but it is what it is.
