I went here with my wife for a 3 day weekend to explore Mount Baker area. The place was very clean, easy to check in and had everything we needed. Very enjoyable and I recommend.

Beautiful and cozy
Really enjoyed the lake though it rained the whole time we were there. It was serene and peaceful. The guest house is attached to the owners home but had our own parking area and no problem with being attached. Hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. Would certainly stay again. Would probably bring a kayak or something so we could actually get on the lake. The guesthouse was very clean and cozy. It was good.

Lakeside Paradise near Mt. Baker
My girlfriend decided to book this cabin on a whim for new years and it was the best decision we could’ve made! Erik and Amber were awesome hosts. The cabin is located on the north side of Silverlake on its own plot of land. You have a beautiful view of the lake right in your front yard and great walking trails near the park. You are also conveniently located near Mt. Baker which has tons of outdoor activities to fill your time. Erik was even kind enough to give us some local tips in the area. The space itself is clean, and has all the amenities you need for a mountain getaway including coffee, beach towels and even a full kitchen! You won’t find better value in the area than this cabin. The location is literally perfect and I will definitely be returning. If you’re considering booking this cabin, run.. don’t walk!

Maple Falls cabin
We enjoyed our stay in the lake cabin at Maple Falls. We skied one day at Mt. Baker but couldn't continue due to rain and warmer temperatures. So instead we hiked along Nooksack River and took a day trip to Vancouver. The cabin was an excellent base for our trip

Perfect landing spot after a day hiking the Heather Meadows area
I stayed here for two nights over Labor Day weekend with my husband and 3-year-old. We returned after a morning of hiking the Heather Meadows area, then on the second day we visited Horseshoe Bend trail and Silver Lake Park. The cabin is small, cozy spot, but space is used so efficiently that it never felt cramped. We brought my son’s wooden train tracks, and there was space for him to play while we made dinner. The internet worked great during our visit; we were able to stream Cars on a rainy afternoon. Lovely spot and extremely accommodating and generous hosts. Would stay here again!

Beautiful place, perfect little getaway
The property was very well prepared for guests and the property owners were in great communication. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and it was a great location to head up local trails without any issues. It was nice having a good bed and nice shower after longer hikes. I have several chronic health issues so camping wasn't really an option for me, but this allowed me to still allow out and experience nature without putting myself at any risk or harm's way. I really enjoyed my stay and the property owners were very sweet and left me a happy birthday message as I had mentioned in my text that I was coming out for my birthday.

Wow … the lake front scenery is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The cabin is cozy and very comfortable … and spotless. And sitting on the front porch in the morning was great … we couldn’t have asked for more. We met the owner Erik … he was great … making sure our stay was comfortable. It doesn’t get any better …

We stayed for two nights and had a lovely, relaxing stay. The TV is old and blurry, so bring some books or ipad. It is very quiet and peaceful, and the hosts leave you alone. We would stay here again for sure.

Nice cabin for skiing Mt. Baker
Stayed here with my son and brother-in law for some April skiing at Mt. Baker. The cabin is about 40 minutes from the ski area and located in a very scenic and quiet location on Silver Lake. The cabin is attached to the hosts home, but it feels private and is well-stocked with basic necessities. The hosts were very communicative, friendly and accommodating. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there. This is a small cabin but I think it would be ideally suited for two parents with two kids, especially for summer lake activities. The lake looks ideal for paddling and fishing and is easily accessible from the cabin. While the skiing conditions were not great (rain and low visibility), we hope to return next year, earlier in the season, to take another shot at Mt Baker.

Cozy lake side cabin right at the base of Mt. Baker!
Our overall experience was amazing! Erik and his family are perfect hosts. Super accommodating without hovering. There was a perfect amount of space for two adults and two children. And if your thing is boating or fishing? Perfect place to stay! The cul-de-sac adjacent to the cabin is a boat ramp. If you kayak, boat, etc. This is the perfect place for you!

Great location for a winter vacation
We are from Texas and came to Mt. Baker to avoid the chairlift lines and, honestly the thousands of other Texans who flock to Colorado each December. This was the perfect getaway location. We really enjoyed our time here.

Weekend get away
Our grandson had just started school at Western State University, so we booked the cabin at Maple Falls. The cabin was great! It is right next to the lake, it boarders a public fishing area, but you have plenty of privacy. The cabin is perfect for two people or a family with young children because of the bunk beds in the bedroom along with the queen bed. The hosts were very nice. It was about a 40 minute drive from Bellingham, but what beautiful scenery. We would book this property again.

Best Little Bunkhouse on Silver Lake!
I hesitate to leave too good a review bc I would really like it available every time we need it.. This is a classic, private bunkhouse / guest quarters attached to an attached garage that the new owners recently renovated down to the studs. The result of their hard work is a simple, beautiful, and unbelievably efficient guest suite that lives much larger than its footprint . The pictures do not do it justice. Everything has white walls with dark brown beams and accents. It is immaculately clean and bug-free which is hard to do on a lake. The full bathroom is spacious. The step-down sleeping room has a fantastic barn door and soft new duvets. The living room has a comfy new sectional with a cozy fireplace, and the kitchen is super sweet with an open shelf (so handy for your dry goods) and an antique steel sink / drainboard / stove / oven / fridge combo that is really fun to use and adorable to look at. Not shown is the pretty glass entrance door between the kitchen and the fireplace, or the dining table with four saddle stools which make great duffel bag stands (we never ate inside). Outside is a fire bowl, charcoal grill, and picnic table, as well as a bistro set on the covered front porch which faces the lake. We made our reservation last minute and assumed we would be spending all of our time at the State Park. We liked the cottage's location so much that we rented a paddle board at the Park and just paddled it back to the house. The park is 5 minutes away by car and 30 minutes by kayak/board. A public boat launch is steps away from the cottage with two tiny grassy areas where we set up our beach chairs and launched our kayaks. Just be sure to wear water shoes because a lot of dogs go fishing here too! The view is amazing from this quiet tip of the lake. Host Erik is an excellent communicator, with very fast response time! It is obvious he and his family take pride in this bunkhouse and want their guests to be happy. We would love to stay here again!

Great cozy cabin
The cabin is very clean and functional with mostly new features. The sink/stove/fridge/oven is a cool recovered item from the '50's. The owners are very welcoming, responsive and friendly. We had expected the cabin to have the view in the photo. That is the view from the owners home and porch. There is direct lake access from the public boat launch adjacent to the property. We had a few issues that we are letting the owners know about - we couldn't figure out the fan, some items froze in fridge, there wasn't a screen in the bedroom window. I have no doubt they'll fix those items. There was plenty of hot water. The state campground is very nearby. There are quite a few hiking options in the area, a great little grocery in town, and it's a great launch point to checking out Mt Baker. Loved our stay.
