"The staff at the property were fabulous. I think a lot more can be done around the swimming pool. It just looks like a square block of water in the middle of the complex. The bathroom shower is large and a lot of wasted space in the bathroom. Also, the see-through walls in the bathroom doesn’t make sense if sharing with other people. Additional hooks for your clothing would help more in the bathroom."

"We stayed one night and it was lovely. The road there was horrendous but it was worth it for the isolation it created. Very small and minimal in set up but worth the trek. Not we’d stay too long there again due to the isolation but it was perfect for our overall holiday in Fiji."

"Well…from the moment we arrived to the day of departure, the level of service we received was truly first class. We arrived in the late afternoon & was exhausted from all day travelling. Grant (one of the hosts) was so accommodating organising some light refreshments brought to our room. "Beqa Lagoon Resort was an absolutely phenomenal experience for us. The location is beautiful and relaxing, the prepaid meal plan (3 meals a day) is delicious, and all the activities the resort put on are fun and engaging. The diving was enjoyable, but the highlight was definitely the shark dives. The dive team are well informed and are able to provide good insight into the nearby shark population and their place in the ecosystem. "This is a lovely retreat space, a bit off the beaten track. It needs a little upkeep as it is quite old now. But the Fijian staff are wonderful and as it is right next to a fijian village you get to meet many of the villagers who work at the resort. One of the highlights is the coral reef out front. Take a boat out and go snorkelling out on the breakers. You will love it. The ground are well kept and beautiful. "

"Accessibility for disable guests is inadequate. No Elevators and front desk need proper training on accommodating guests with disabilities. Every other staff have empathy except the front desk allocating rooms. When theres no elevator, dont allocate upstairs room far far away because these disable guests have to walk there. For us all we need is a 2 bed room as close as possible downstairs. Let us know our options before assigning rooms. "

"The place was stunning no doubt but getting there was difficult. It's at the far end of the island, a 3 hour drive from Nadi airport. I was told that Fiji has 2 climates. While it was sunny at our first hotel near the airport, it poured our entire stay at Nanuku which makes for a poor island experience. Being one who loves to walk and hike and not just sit around, it made it tough. Highlight was Tina, the amazing masseuse, try her out, you will not be disappointed. "
