Summer Baseball Trip
My fiance and I came to Detroit in the summer because we are touring all of the baseball stadiums in the US. The stay was very spacious, communication was easy, and building/parking felt safe. Only issue was how hot the room was. Despite the (very old) AC that was in the unit, it was not enough to adequately cool the space - it was so hot it was hard to sleep.

Very welcoming and well put together space to stay! The only small drawback is the stair climb, but well worth it! Just keep it in mind if you have a lot of luggage.

Really nice property
Check-in was easy & owner was quick to respond to questions. The room was very comfortable & stylish, and is in a quiet part of the city but is a quick drive to downtown. The only thing I wasn’t jazzed about was the loft bed, because it was difficult to get to (the only access point is a stepladder). The couch is comfortable though, so if you need two beds you’re not out of luck.

Artsy Loft with a View
My girlfriend and I stayed at this property for New Years Eve this year. The loft was just what we needed. A nice space to take pictures before we went out and a nice quiet place to lay our heads when the night was over. I appreciate gated parking.

Chique apartment, great neighborhood!
This studio apartment was beautiful! Erica was a fantastic host -- very kind and responsive. Corktown is a great spot for folks looking for delicious restaurants and cool bars within a 1 mile radius.

Nice room, but not for non-smokers
Room was nicely decorated, but the hallways, stairwells, and room itself smelled strongly of smoke. If you are a smoker, no problem. The view was nice, and the host was quick to respond to questions.

So Comfy!
I loved everything about Erica’s place, especially the art all over. I would definitely recommend it. Nice and quiet & not far from all the night life. My boyfriend stopped by and was amazed, he said he needs to know who decorated the place lol.

Worst vrob ever.
We drove 3 1/2 hours to Detroit from Houghton Lake MI ans when we got there at 5pm i texted for the information to get in (which was supposed to be sent that day) and she said it was double booked so we're out of luck. She couldn't find another vrob to stay at and there was nothing available in Detroit for under $500. We missed the opening band of our concert, didnt get to change our clothes, have a snack or have time to relax. We had to find another vrob, which was 45 minutes away. It made my daughter's birthday so stressful. I wouldn't trust this person again. The area wasn't very appealing. I would never sleep here.

Cute Loft Space
Very clean and nice space to take a short stay minutes outside of downtown Detroit. Well equipped with activities while hiding inside from the heavy snow storm that was happening outside. Highly recommend this spot.

STUNNING loft, close to everything
Absolutely LOVED this loft - this is definitely one of the more unique places I’ve stayed, the decor was beautiful, it had a homey feel, and it had everything we needed for our stay. Our host was very helpful and I couldn’t recommend this place more. Very close to the border and only a 5-10 min drive to the downtown area.

Perfect Detroit Stay
I stayed with friends for our holiday party downtown. The studio was spacious, clean with super unique decor. It was great to stay close to Detroit without having to pay a lot for a hotel. It's in a great location with only about a 10 minute drive to everything you'd want to do in the city. Close to the Canadian border as well. Apartment was well kept and clean, loved the open concept as well

Corktown close to down town
The space was wonderful, and we really appreciated the gated parking. Not a criticism at all, but no elevator so be ready to go up and down the 3 flights of stairs. The check in process seems complicated, but follow the directions and you will be fine. All the steps are needed so you can get into the parking lot. Not much to do in the immediate neighborhood, but downtown is super close. The neighborhood was pleasantly quiet. For a loft apartment we found it plenty spacious and the host was great with recommendations. I would stay here again.

The host Erica, was great! Excellent communication and checking in to see how we were doing. We loved the apt, it felt like someone's place. Nice and cozy! Great view as well. Quiet area, close to highway and downtown! We would stay there again for sure!

Low-key loft w nice skyline view
Artsy vibe, lots of cool stuff to look at. Clean place, well stocked, & comfortable furniture (especially the bed!). Good communication with host. Older building with some steep stairs so that made the check in/out slightly inconvenient going up & down but not sure how that could be improved. Still definitely worth it, and hubby & I enjoyed our last minute getaway from the kids!

This was pretty much as advertised. There is a leaky ceiling in a corner of the loft that dripped in multiple places every day, whether or not it was raining outside. Check in was easy, and pre check in communication was good. It’s an easy drive into downtown Detroit. And even closer to Corktown.

I felt like I was in my living room, it was that home-y of a vibe.
Overall, pretty great stay for group of 4/5. 1. The host was communicative and we were able to address all our concerns with her with a prompt response time. 2. Extremely spacious, well organized, and clean. Negative: 1. Unfortunately the Air Conditioning unit wasn't working and the humidity and heat in the room was uncomfortable. 2. The ceiling was leaking, so the far right window area floor was soaking wet. 3. The check-in process is quite confusing and involved. Between having to locate the garage remote in the unit, and locating the lockbox with the entrance keys it was quite difficult to get settled in.
