My family and I, which included two young children were astonished at the poor quality of the hotel that was booked through your service. You have fraudulently sold this booking as a four star hotel. For example, the hotel rooms had no air-conditioning yet your listing specifically represented it had air-conditioning. Furthermore, the condition of the rooms assigned was unacceptable. The cleanliness was severely lacking, with noticeable dirt and stains within the bathrooms. On one evening, my room was found not cleaned. Upon explaining the situation with the night manager, he refused to even acknowledge the difficulty this caused. The three working the desk that evening even refused to provide clean towels. I was forced to explain the situation to a fellow customer, to shame them in providing basic amenities. As you can imagine, one will go to whatever lengths needed to maintain basic hygienic levels for ones children and grandchildren. Yet, to have to enlist fellow hotel guests to shame management for clean towels is far from “Four star” service. Management's consistent response throughout the stay explaining all above was that since this booking was with Expedia, Expedia is responsible for the fraudulent listing. They absolved themselves of all responsibility for the listings lies and misrepresentations including the lack of air conditioning and the misrepresentation of “Four star” status.

We had a great stay and enjoyed the hotel and it’s facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms need air conditioning as they are too warm. Small fans make little difference

We loved the location and the views across the sea from the hotel. The local restaurants and beach were within 10 minutes walk from the hotel, although access to the beach was also possible from the hotel. The beach was a supervised beach with many fun activities available such as paddle boarding, kayaking etc. so great fun for a family holiday also very chilled as it has spa facilities available for those who just want to relax. We will certainly come back for more …

Beware staying here until rooms are fixed up & AC.
We booked two rooms from August 10-14 2022. We pulled up outside and there was no one to help with luggage. We did grab a cart. The rooms had no AC. They had no ceiling fans or vents. No screens on windows. One of my rooms had mold in the bathroom with an overpowering smell. It permeated the overall room. I was not moved for two days. Our rooms were on low floors facing the driveway, not the ocean as expected. I left after 3 days, despite paying for 4 days in advance. I was told they were going to renovate 3 years ago, but did not due to COVID. Beautiful view on Ocean side. Nice deck to eat and drink on. But the rooms were sweltering, and in poor condition overall. The mold was in 2 rooms I saw. They eventually moved me, but not for a couple of days, as they were full.

Our Chritmas present
Its was a christmas gift to each other. We checked in and we were given a room on the ground floor overlooking the beach. There was the most terrible smell from the bathroom drain, It actually made me sick. We told reception and they sent a housekeeper she put some solution down the drain but it only masked the problem for an hour.......they really should have given us another room. I reported the problem but it really wasn't addressed.

NE PAS RESERVER DE CHAMBRES "VUE JARDIN"
Aucun personnel pour nous accueillir et nous aider à porter nos valises lors de notre arrivée (Hotel 4*) La chambre que nous avons eu n'avait rien en commun avec ce qui est indiqué sur le site. De style chalet de montagne, elle était sombre avec une vue sur les bâtiments, les toilettes étaient tout à refaire (très mauvaise évacuation des eaux, porte qui ne fermait pas, moisissure sur les murs...). Le lit, de très mauvaise qualité (paradoxale lorsque l'on sait que l'on vient de cet établissement pour faire des soins), était disposé dans l'autre sens afin de laisser l’accès à la salle de bain ; donc pas d'accès aux lampes de chevet pour s'éclairer la nuit qui étaient installées sur l’autre mur. Au-dessus du lit, était tiré une toile de joute qui couvrait le plafond et du coup retenait la poussière. Etant allergique aux acariens, j'ai dû acheter de la Ventoline ainsi que de l'Aerius. La salle de sports : Le personnel de l'hôtel avait fermé les fenêtres afin d'éviter que "d'éventuelles personnes ne traversent la salle", laissant celle-ci sans climatisation avec une chaleur étouffante pouvant provoquer chez certaines personnes des malaises. J'ai demandé (dès le premier jour à parler à un responsable). Malgré plusieurs relances, aucun Manager n'a daigné prendre 5 minutes pour venir me voir, écouter mes doléances et trouver une solution: AUCUN RESPECT DU CLIENT !!!

Great location overlooking the sea.
Booked as a simple stop-over on the way to the St Malo Ferry but turned out much nicer than expected. We took advantage of the heated sea-water swimming pool and massage treatment pool before walking into town for dinner. Worth more time for a more relaxed stay.

Modern hotel with excellent spa facilities
I really enjoyed staying at the hotel for three nights in early August. The thalassotherapy facilities are excellent. There are two swimming pools, both heated and both with seawater. One has a range of water jets for the body massages & is at 23 degrees. The other is set at 19 degrees. I also enjoyed a very pleasant back massage with a scrub. The hotel benefits from magnificent views of the sea and of St Malo. I enjoyed a lovely meal on the restaurant terrace on my first night. The bar offers a delicious lunch time menu, too.

Fabulous view and pleasant grounds. Restaurant should be better for the price. Room reasonably comfortable but without any style - could have been any other Novotel hotel. The price paid was far too much for what was offered.

Lovely location, bar area and restaurant both good. Room design very trendy but uncomfortable. No bedside tables (we had to bring in balcony chairs for clock etc) uncomfortable chairs, silly coffee table with high stools (uncomfortable again) Wardrobe had massive area of shelves but very little hanging space (and inaccessible) Heavy sliding doors everywhere which were so noisy it was impossible to go to the toilet during the night without waking everyone in the room. Bathroom good (except for sliding doors). It had plenty of shelves for toiletries, etc. We booked in October and asked for a twin room on the ground floor. On arrival there was only a double bed available on the second floor so 2 friends had to share a bed. No-one offered to make up a spare bed which we later realised should have been possible. We shall not go to this hotel again.

Good spa hotel
This hotel provided an excellent environment to relax and unwind. The grounds are spacious and views stunning. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a feast. We ate in the restaurant one evening but it wa very busy and service was a bit slow, however this should not deter a stay at this lovely hotel.

Long weekend
We got the ferry over from Jersey for a long weekend away. We stayed in Dinard for four days and three nights which was probably a bit too long. Having booked a seaview room we expected a balcony to sit outside on. The room was quite basic for the price that was paid. We not feel that the cost was justified by the experience.

Our main concern was the lack of vegetarian food on the menu. There was only one main course which we liked very much but one evening the chef agreed to make another vegetarian main course and it had no protein or carbohydrate. It should at least have contained cheese or eggs or nuts, or pulses. And so we ordered du pain et pommes de terre but they arrived after we had eaten our meal. The meal was so small (although beautiful!) and we finished eating it in five minutes, long before the potatoes and bread arrived. Thank you

The hotel has amazing views, it's easy to walk everywhere. Check in was quick and we were happy with the large room, the balcony was on the small side but usable. Every member of staff that we came across were brilliant and very helpful. The restaurant was outstanding but not cheap, however the food was in a class on it's own outstanding! The downside was that our room came onto a building site and it was quite noisy and dusty at times. We will be back to stay again without a doubt!
