Property inside and out was nice! 1. water stunk!!! the hole time ! outside of cooking or washing i would not drink it. 2. NEED WATER ACCESS !!!!! You are on the water! you could not get to it safely. Great small town it will supply all your needs, grocery's , gas, restaurant's. access to many areas.I would rent again!!! FIX THE WATER ISSUE.

I wish the renter had called the owner and reported this Water issue would have been addressed within 24 hours had owner known As far as the water access all you needed to do was walk down the rocks, they are there to stop flooding and provide safety

Relaxing
Such a relaxing place to unwind and enjoy nature. Loved sitting on the patio listening to the sounds of the river. Just what we needed. And Jennifer was very helpful and quick in responding when we had a question. Would definitely love to come back in the future.

Perfect!!
Beautiful area! On the river in mountains yet close enough to Dolores, Cortez, Durango and Telluride. The Dolores Market is a small grocery store in town but has everything you will need. Coming from South Texas we love good Mexican food and it is hard to find when traveling but MITequila in Dolores was very good. Taking the drive to visit and shop Telluride, Ouray then Silverton was amazing. The house has all amenities plus more than we expected. Very well equipped. Clean and comfortable beds. Plenty of linens. We did travel with our beagles and there is a dog sitter we found in Dolores on Rover.com named Ashley for the time we couldn’t have them come to our activities. She was great!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Glad you enjoyed my home It is my home not a rental property Dolores Market is a local store with the best produce, meat and pies in the valley both meat and fruit The lady who owns it is a local and wonderful person and we hope all our renters will support her store

we stayed beginning of july, coming from phoenix. temp in phoenix around 112-113. temp by fox den 88. thought we would need ac at fox den , but kim was right cabin stayed cool and comfortable between 69 and 73 degrees. dolores river low but great to sit on back covered porch in rocking chairs and listen to river. yard was fenced for dogs making it easy for us to take out and not worry about them. didn't end up fishing but about 1 mile from cabin twin spruce fishing lease state wildlife area, where people were fishing. great cabin and area. hope to go back next summer.

We had a issue with the water pressure and called the property manager who was very helpful. They got a Plummer out and could not find an issue. The issue happened again and when we notified the owners they told us we could leave.. We did not expect it to be a “Hilton” experience, however we did expect to have daily showers and flushing toilets!!! The owners are extremely rude!

Problem was fixed by plumber Emergency was handled that evening Renters seemed happy but obviously what they told owner and what they wrote were two different things It is a cabin on the river in the mountains and things happen but problem was solved Charlotte Cribley Fox Owner

Dolores River Cabin
Amazing cabin on the Dolores River. Close to town, but still far enough away you feel like you are in the wilderness. You can hear the river through the screen door at all hours of the day/ night. We greatly enjoyed our time here!

Hunting cabin
Was good for lots of hunters to stay here. A little expensive unless you have a lot of people to share. Great location to hunting grounds. Fishing home about 1 mile towards Dolores. Nice view on back porch overlooking the river. One recommendation for owner is to take down creepy dolls. There are a lot of them in every room.

Relaxing stay in a beautiful place!
We had great stay at Charlotte’s place. River running next to the house, fresh air, peaceful surroundings, and cozy house were perfect for a relaxing vacation. Charlotte was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would stay again! Small note: from our experience place has good internet connection but no cell phone service.

Owner tried to go around VRBO and told us we could have an extra night but did not remove the last night from the VRBO calendar. When it was booked through VRBO, she informed us at the last minute that we could not stay the last night even tho we had an e-mail confirmation from her to state that. S She was most unsympathetic and we had a hard time finding a place for 6 of us at the last minute. River is nice, place well equipped, not maintained well, reasonably clean. We would not book it again.

Great location on the river
Comfortable beds, more kitchen supplies than expected, comfy living space. Access to river is down rocky slope - perhaps more difficult due to how low the River was. Probably easier for younger adults. We spent lots of time on covered front deck looking for shade. Cooked all our meals inside or on BBQ. Well worn living room furnishings made us less nervous about our dog even though she was very good. Loved the fenced yard for our pup - just had to watch her by the river. We only used downstairs due to size of our family. Love easy access To Durango, Telluride, Dolores and back country. Thank you to super friendly and responsive cabin manager.

Awesome cabin, Amazing location
Such a great find. We wanted to get away for a few days with our pups. We lounged around the property, played some games and dunked in the Dolores the whole weekend. Can't wait to go back!

Home away from home on the river
It was wonderful. Like staying in my own home, not your standard rental. The river is right outside the door. Dolores is a beautiful area.
