Unlike pictures, old and tattered
Looked nothing like the pictures. Very old furnishings, TV didn't work, housekeeping never answered calls in the night, shower fitting and taps almost worked

Hotel has a night club and at night time all rooms are shaking like hell and noise just drives you crazy. Beside that very dirty rooms with rude staff. I suggest no one should stay there for any cost. I checked in the hotel and left in 20 minutes even thought I had paid for the full 2 night

Although the room is a bit tight for 2 persons, place was quite good.

Please don’t take your family here. This place was designed for party goers. The music is super loud till 3am. After that a bunch of drunk men talk outside till about 5am. The condition of the rooms is super old. Bathrooms don’t work and all the rooms are smoking rooms. Overall the place was discussing.

A MIXED BAG
Room starting to look a bit faded. Comfortable bed. Shower a bit dilapidated, boiling hot water. Kettle didn't work. Good TV. In-room safe. Daily efficient housekeeping and fresh towels every day. TGIT bar was ok, but fills up with African ladies at night. Pancho Villa music very loud, so I heard it a long way away, until 3am (and I'm hard of hearing). Laundry prices average. I needed a late check-out, and it was cheaper to book an extra night on hotels.com than to pay the hotel charge which would have ended at 6pm. After that, it's a full daily rate. Staff were pleasant, especially the luggage guy. I'd stay again, mainly through price.

Absolutely filthy hotel avoid at all costs. Iv stayed at many other 3 star hotels which were in good conditions but this hotel I would rate 1 star...first room I had it stinked of sewage I couldn’t tolerate the smell went down told the receptionist he changed it to another room which stinked of ciggerettes. Paid over £45 night I could have got a better deal. My room was on 4 floor filthy place felt so disgusted sleeping in this hotel glad it was for only 1 night.

Interesting location
The location was good especially if you plan on taking the Hop on, Hop Off bus. It's fairly close to the Museum. So I guess I would consider it good but not great.

Stay Away!
Cockroaches everywhere. Bathroom floors looked like they haven't been cleaned in months. Horrible customer service. Stay anywhere except here.

Horrendous Rooms
The rooms were stinking, the carpet in the room are older than my lifespan, stinky by rooms, stinking curtains, dirty linen. Please don’t stay at this hotel. Not recommended for Families as in the night it is unbearable with the amount of Girls swarming around

The room was booked for a king size bed, but they had none. This was second time the Hotel could not come up with the booked request. They gave us twins. There was an ashtray/match box that means it was not a non-smoking room eaither.

Nice hotel with close transport links
A nice hotel with close transport links on the metro with access to the major attractions. Staff were very friendly who attended to my every need. The surrounding area is also enjoyable and a lot cheaper than other areas -plenty of restaurants and shops close by. Enjoyed my stay!

A basic budget hotel.
Astoria is an old hotel that is adequate for what it is used for. If you are looking for a clean budget hotel in the bur dubai area then this would do. Very close to creek so easy to go over to deira if you require. I wouldnt recommend for families but if you are a sole traveller who has some business to attend to and is looking for something very basic then this is it.

My experience at Astoria Hotel
Hotel is Ok. first night very noise music and dance on first floor {no good} but I talk to the man at 3:00 am that night he was very nice he transfer me to room 428 then was Ok. staff very good If I go again to Dubai I will stay same room Thank You Art.

Big rooms , average location
The Hotel is located in the oldest area in Dubai , you will not be in the modern part of the city but you are in the middle of gold market and many other shops (most of it Indian). The good thing it's near from AL Shandagha City Center and Carrefour Al Shindagah where you can find many well known and modern shops , it's also very close to to a big bus station that can take you many other cities like Sharjah and other northern emirates. The hotel itself have large rooms , many facilities like (restaurant, parking , club and a massage place - not real spa) , it's little noisy old furnished with old bathrooms.

Dirty, old, smelly.
My duvet was stained and the bathroom filthy. The room was dark, small and unclean. There was also an animal scratching at the walls from outside while I was trying to sleep which was very unnerving. Online it said there was a jetted bath but the bath was old, dirty and definitely not jetted with a hot water cylinder over head. The staff were pleasant but my overall experience was not very good at all. I certainly wouldn't stay there again, especially as a solo female.

Your booking was perfect but hotel is in very bad condition,wifi doesn't works,leakage from every tap ,bed too soft had a severe back pain still suffering from it,overall a bad experience

The hotel was really tired the room was clean but very old and tired in desperate need of renovation. The shower room was horrible cracked tiled pls stained bath.no jacuzzi as per Website. Dissapointed in hotel but staff are amazing which is why we stayed

Welcome to a horrible experience.
I will not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. If you hate yourself and wanna have a really bad experience then go ahead and book it. If you can bear the loud music from second floor till 4am then be thier guest. Overall its a disastour.
