Nice room, wonderful owner, hill top, many steps
Nice accommodation on top of a hill with a spectacular view out over the Adriatic. Spectacular sun sets. Wonderful, friendly, very helpful owner. Will be fine for anyone with a car. Without a car, it is about a 300 steps climb down and then back up from other shops, stores, restaurants, etc. or a city bus or taxi fare each way.

the room requires repair and modernization, broken sofa bed, loose electricity wires, no TV, tiny toilet. no bed covers. the room was not cleaned nor attended at all. very limited hot water from small boiler tank hanging from the tiny toilet roof. Toilet paper supply is left in the communal area. the shared kitchen was not clean, ants on the food preparation table, broken cabinets and unclean oven. completely different from the nice pics on the web site.

Budget loading for experienced traveler with a car Took a while for us to find a "reception" as it is a manager's apt and just have her name. Her family spoke great English and helpful. Pro: free parking, free wifi, access to common kitchen and fridge, close to a bust stop (2min), clean room, private bath Con: small space, short bed (not for tall people), thin walls, it is more of a dorm room style loading (with private toilet and shower) May not be optimal if you are planning to relax but just need a place to stay when you are on a budget, this is a place for you.

Nice accommodation, lots of steps to the beach.
All very hilly and it's 250 steps up and down. Will keep you fit though. Landlady extremely helpful and pleasant. I personally cannot complain about the accommodation. Just wish there was shops nearer the apartments.

Very good base
The hotel is situated in a raised suburb of Dubrovnik which affords truly breathtaking views of the bay and surrounding mountains. This does come at a cost though as there is no way to avoid a steep climb so if weak footed, repeatedly traipsing up and down the myriad steps, would eventually take it's toll. That said, there's an abundance of shops, beaches and restaurants within easy reach and the nearby bus routes are reliable and frequent. In short, the accommodation would make an ideal base to explore Dubrovnik (old town is a ten minute bus trip/5 minute taxi ride) Critically, the apartments are located in a quiet area so unruly behaviour is not tolerated; great if you long for restful sleep, not so good if you're looking for debauchery!! The apartments look very new and are very well presented and equipped. The proprietor was extremely helpful and tolerant and in general, everybody in Croatia appeared to possess the ability to converse in English Overall, the hotel was above expectations and definitely worth future consideration.

Graziosa stanza, vicinissima a Lapad
Abbiamo soggiornato per 3 notti nell’appartamento di Brigita. Posizione ottima se non fosse per il gran numero di gradini da fare per raggiungere la struttura (comunque accettabile dato il continuo sali-scendi caratteristico della città di Dubrovnik). Per evitare gli scalini è sufficiente noleggiare un motorino essendo i prezzi comunque accessibili. La stanza è carina, piccola, con tutto quello che serve a viaggiatori poco pretenziosi. Brigita è gentilissima, sin da subito si è mostrata disponibile con noi. Stanza nel complesso consigliabile!

Trevlig värdinna
Trevlig och hjälpsam värdinna som kunde fixa det mesta inklusive en underbart god frukost. Hon bjöd verkligen på sig själv och berättade intressanta historier. Restaurangdelen var nybyggd och de ordnade lunch och middag till mindre sällskap. Lägenheterna ligger långt uppe på ett berg, vi räknade till 317 trappsteg om man tar den längsta trappen direkt ner till shoppinggatan, annars finns det bussar i närområdet både till gamla stan och badstränder.

Lovely Place
5 min by walk from the Beach and very Close to the Bus Station 6 which brings You in Max 10 min in Center . A kitchen is also available for NO extra charges ! I did enjoyed my stay there and for sure recommend and return !

Purtroppo devo dire che non era proprio come me l'aspettavo soprattutto per quanto riguarda la posizione. Quando ho prenotato sul sito c'era scritto che la struttura era distante circa 600 metri dalla fermata del bus principale che collega alle maggiori attrazioni e alla spiaggia, ma non era minimamente segnalato che per arrivarci bisognava scendere e nel caso contrario, salire, un bel po' di gradini oppure farsi ogni volta una bella salita a piedi per arrivare fino in cima, cosa non molto agevole con i bagagli e non molto rilassante dopo una giornata trascorsa al mare o in visite turistiche. Inoltre mi è capitata una camera con bagno privato ma esterno (anche questo non segnalato nel sito), scomodissimo in ogni occasione soprattutto se si aveva necessità di andare durante la notte, poiché bisognava ogni volta vestirsi per evitare che qualcuno delle altre stanze potesse vederti in mutande o in deshabillé. E' quindi venuta un po' a mancare la privacy e la comodità nell'utilizzo del bagno. La camera non viene mai pulita e sistemata durante il soggiorno e anche gli asciugamani vengono cambiati ogni due giorni ma in caso di necessità è possibile richiederne di nuovi in qualsiasi momento. Il giorno dell'arrivo sia la stanza che il bagno li ho trovati molto puliti e anche la climatizzazione è stata indispensabile e ben funzionante. Il maggior motivo per cui ho dato 3 punti alla struttura anche se ne meritava a mio avviso di meno, è soprattutto per la gentilezza e la disponibilità d

Koselig gjestehus med fin utsikt og nærme stranden
Min kjæreste og jeg har tilbrakt 10 netter i Dubrovnik og er veldig fornøyd med oppholdet. Fin beliggenhet av gjestehus med verdens hyggeligste dame som driver stedet :-) ble tatt godt i mot. Kjøkken på deling med andre rom, men ellers eget bad og liten terrasse! Lå på toppen av en bratt lang bakke/mange trapper så man bør tåle å gå litt, eventuelt ta taxi. Bakken var det "verste" med vår ferie, så vi hadde egentlig ingenting å klage på! Gjestehuset ligger nærme butikker og stranden ikke minst, i tillegg til busstopp hvor buss til gamlebyen kommer hver 10. Min. :) i og med at det ikke er hotell så ble ikke rommene ryddet hver dag, men det gjorde ingenting. Fikk nye håndkler hver 2-3 dag og sengene ble skiftet på en gang i løpet av oppholdet. Kan også skiftes ved behov, da kan man bare ta kontakt :) Alt i alt er vi veldig fornøyde med valg av bosted :)

Mittelmäßige Unterkunft
Wir hatten ein sehr kleines Zimmer mit eigenem, kleinen Bad. Das Bad hat ein kleines Fenster, es gab allerdings keine Seife und auch keinen Föhn (auf Anfrage haben wir aber beides bekommen - in einer 3* Unterkunft erwarte ich dies allerdings). Leider war außerdem das Wlan in unserem Zimmer nicht nutzbar. Dazu musste man raus auf den Gang. Man darf eine Küche auf dem Stockwerk zusammen mit anderen Gästen nutzen (Kühlschrank, Tisch mit Stühlen, Wasserkocher,...). Diese ist allerdings eher älteren Semesters. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer funktioniert gut und hat uns das Leben gerettet. Leider ist die Unterkunft schon ein ganzes Stück weg von der Altstadt gelegen. Hinlaufen ist fast nicht möglich, da die Unterkunft auf einem Berg gelegen ist. Es gibt aber eine Busverbindung in die Stadt.

Man fik et værelse med aircon, enkeltsenge, egen balkon, et skab og et skrivebord, så meget spartant. Der var eget badeværelsr på gangen og fælles køkken og spiserum. Receptionen var ejerens køkken. Selve området fuldt med trapper (327 trin) og kan være svært at finde. Ellers fint, og sød vært.

Die Unterkunft liegt günstig (Busanbindung zur Altstadt, zu Fuß zum Lapad-Beach). Es gibt eine sehr gute Parkmöglichkeit. Die Zimmer selbst sind sehr klein und ungemütlich. Das Badezimmer ist unerträglich heiß (keine Klimaanlage, Etagendusche wird auch über dieses Badezimmer "belüftet".

Hopeloos geval boven op een kale berg, waar echt niks te doen was! Wilde je naar een restaurant of iets dergelijks, moest je een trap afdalen van 300 treden!! Zelden zo slecht meegemaakt!!

5 nätter på burum acommodations
Rummet var rent och fräscht, hade AC och dusch. Läget var bra, om än lite väl mycket backar för att ta sig upp från centrum, men det går ju att avhjälpa genom att ta bussen hela vägen upp, vilket inte kostar mycket. Gemensamt kök fanns, lite bristfälligt men ändå fullt brukbart för att laga enklare måltider. Servicen var bra, föreståndarinnan var en riktigt härlig person som hjälpte till med allt möjligt vi bad henne om.

Härlig utsikt
Dubrovnik är byggt på branta sluttningar, och det här hotellet är inget undantag. Det är lite kämpigt att ta sig uppför backarna efter en dag på stranden. Det är dock ganska nära till bussen om man skall in till gamla stan (och det skall man!). huset är ganska nybyggt och fint, men det är en smula kalt. Lite dekoration skulle inte skada. Vårt och ett rum till delade på ett kök, vardagsrum och balkong. Varje rum hade en egen toalett och dusch.

Hotel economico in posizione scomoda
Siamo stati 10 notti in questo hotel catalogato 3 stelle e devo far presente che la camera era pulita quando siamo arrivati ma in tutto il soggiorno è stata ripulita la bellezza di una sola volta mentre gli asciugamani son stati cambiati solo ogni tre giorni.... Ok, non mi aspettavo chissà che confort ma almeno la pulizia la pretendo. Calcoliamo anche che nella descrizione si parla di ottima vicinanza mare solo che per arrivarci non viene certo detto che bisogna percorrere 313 scalini e pure ripidi.... Cucina in comune sporca e che cade a pezzi, bisogna aspettare pure i comodi degli altri. Posso consigliarlo solo a chi sta poco e non interessa lo sforzo per arrivarci.

Thank you very much for your time taking to write this review. We are categorized 3 star which means that towels are changed every 3 days or on request and room is cleaned every 7 days or on request. We do not enter the room like in hotels, it's called private accommodation because it's more private and we do not disturb guests privacy during their stay but we are always on site in case that guest need something. You can go to the beach on the other way not using even one step, probably you took the most narrow way. Kitchen is shared between other guests and needs to be cleaned after every using. Using of kitchen is free and guests who did not cleaned after themselves - we can't have influence on that. We hope that you'll come to visit us again and that you'll give us opportunity to show you that our accommodation is not so bad like you wrote.

L'appartamento e grande e ha un grande balcone. È' comodo per andare a Ragusa perché ci sono i gradini che portano alla promenade. Cambio asciugamani ogni 3 giorni. La proprietaria brigitte e' molto disponibile. Per andare a Dubrovnik e' comodo l'autobus n6! 10 min e si raggiunge l'old town

gestione famigliare e posizione molto comoda e appartamento spazioso e luminoso. Lo consiglio
