Great relaxing stay
This was our second visit to this location, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. The property is beautiful and the farm has many cute, fun animals to watch and interact with. There is no TV, which is great for connecting, but bring games or books in case it rains. The cabin is very clean and the kitchen has everything you need to make meals.

Such a peaceful place to stay
Our only regret for staying at the cabin was not having enough time there. We were hiking the MammothMarch at Fall Creek Falls which took up our entire Saturday. We loved sitting on the front porch looking at the lake and watching the animals and listening to nothing but nature! Kim and Joel, the hosts were amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. Would love to come and stay when all the flowers are in bloom!

Amazing!!
My husband and I arrived later in the evening and the hosts had made it so easy for us to just walk in and feel at home. The place is fabulous! Very clean and neat, good instructions. Waking up to the mist over the lake was wonderful. Ponies and ducks and two friendly dogs wandering the property gave us the true farm feel. Our favorite aspect was the secluded location; we felt like we had the entire farm to ourselves! The dock and canoe were wonderful assets as well. 100% recommending this to friends and family and hope to go back ourselves! We booked this for the proximity to Fall Creek Falls but found ourselves not even wanting to leave … we could have spent the entire time at the cabin. Next time we’ll bring in some groceries and make more use of the well -equipped kitchen. If you’re there early in the week, many local restaurants don’t open until Tuesday or Wednesday so be prepared. The Lodge Restaurant at Fall Creek Falls was excellent food and service though, 30ish minutes away.

Relaxing and Beautiful Anniversary Trip
My boyfriend and I stayed the weekend of news years and celebrated our one year anniversary. The cabin was so beautiful with the Christmas decorations and wood burner! We wanted a weekend to relax and spend time with each other and we got exactly that. My boyfriend was able to fish while I took in the beautiful view of the lake on the dock located right outside of the cabin. We both absolutely loved the pups that greeted us Saturday morning as well as the other animals! They had everything we needed to make a steak dinner Sunday night, after a quick stop to a grocery store. The cabin more than exceeded our expectations on cleanliness and comfort! We had a wonderful time and I hope to visit again someday. Thank you Kim and Joel for created such a beautiful place and sharing it! P.S. you have to buy their chapstick, it’s amazing! I regret not buying multiple. And my boyfriend loved the red pepper jelly!

Our visit to the farm was amazing. Joel and Kim are great hosts. My only regret is we didn't get to spend much time at the farm. The woodstove was a very cozy addition. We loved it.

I can't say enough good things about this property. When you need to get away from the hustle and grind, this is the place to go. You will be surrounded by state parks with diverse hiking options, but you could be happy without leaving the cottage. The dogs, ponies, pigs, ducks, and chickens are just the ticket to keep you company while you recharge your batteries.❤️❤️❤️❤️

True Southern Comfort and Hospitality
If you are looking for a remote get away on a gorgeous farm with a private lake, look no further. This is our second time staying at Providence Flower Farm and we are already looking forward to the next time we visit. Secluded cabin nestled in the woods beside a beautiful private lake with a working wood stove, 4 poster bed and decorated with authentic antiques. We really enjoyed watching all the farm animals, feeding the ponies fresh apples and fell in love with the farm dogs. Thank you Kim and Joel for being perfect hosts.

Great place to stay for a quite, relaxing get away from all the hustle n bussel of a tourist place. I liked the animals being there, as i was raised on a farm. The fur babies were entertaining. I plan on a future visit.

Great place to relax
We enjoyed our stay at this quaint cabin on the lake so much!! We were pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful bouquet of flowers on the table when we arrived. It was late September so we thought all of the fresh flowers would be gone so it was a nice surprise. We got up every morning and wet our fishing line a little before breakfast. We caught 7-10 fish each during our stay, mostly small bass. We took a hike around the lake one day and enjoyed hanging out on the porch with the dogs as company. Another day we took a hike at Savage Gulf State Park, which is only about 10 miles away. We visited the Mennonite community for some sourdough bread and jelly and drove down to Chattanooga for supper and ice cream. We truly had a great time and hope to visit again soon.

25th anniversary
This spot was perfect and as advertised. We are more rural people and loved the escape. We are animal lovers so “Bear” and “Chris” (dogs) were great. Loved the potbelly pigs, horses and my wife loved the chickens. It was so relaxing to sit on the porch and do nothing but relax. 100% would recommend.

Wish we had been able to spend more time at the property!
We came to the area to spend time with my stepson and his family (they recently moved there) and I was happy to find this property very close. It's very quiet and peaceful (just be aware that the rooster likes to start saying good morning early) and getting to see the animals is a bonus. I wish we had gotten to spend more time at the cabin just relaxing but we were with the family most of the time. I just have one suggestion - a larger rug by the front door or rugs by the bed. Since the soil is a little sandy it would be nice to have a place to leave your shoes when you walk in. Otherwise it's a great property!

Peaceful Mountain Hideaway
Joel and Kim are the kindest hosts. The cabin is just perfect. When we first arrived it had a spa-like experience with quiet classical music, dimmed lights, and a relaxing scent wafted through the open door. The check-in was easy as pie. Joel and Kim were super friendly when we ran into them on the property and chatted with us and answered all my husband’s questions about their animals. Let me tell you about the view. Nothing beats waking up and seeing the lake out the window or sitting on the porch and listening to nature while drinking our morning coffees. Oooh don’t forget about the night sky!! We live in suburbia, so the sky is often washed in lights, but here you can see the Milky Way!! Even saw several shooting stars from a meteor shower. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Any questions or concerns, Joel and Kim are there to assist! My husband caught several 1-2 pounder bass while fishing from his kayak. They weren’t big but they put up a serious fight. Looking for things to do besides relax by the lake? There are several state parks close by for waterfall viewing and hiking. There are a few towns close by for antiquing ooor you could drive down to Chattanooga for bigger city experiences. Also, fun fact…Dunlap is the the paragliding capital of the southeast, if you want a little thrill seeking experience.
