The hotel is in a great location. The pool area is a very nice place to relax. Our room was in a group of separate buildings a short walk from the main hotel. The walls adjoining the rooms are a little thin and initially we were kept awake by the young couple next door banging the headboard against the wall while the young lady squealed with delight. After about twenty minutes of continual banging ( I don’t know where they found the energy from 😂) I tapped on the wall which seemed to damped their enthusiasm and we finally got a good nights sleep.

Go and try it ! worth the money
We stay at this hotel every year for the past 4 years, twice 2 days each time. Personnel is great, very open, helpfull and pleasant. Hotel and restaurant are beautifull. Meal and breakfastare lovely, beds are good. On hot nights it is a pity ther is no air conditionning because the room becomes terribly hot. Restaurant is always a little bit long, but you are told that it will a 1 hour and a half long meal.

Awful hotel -nothing like the brochure and website
We stayed for 6 nights in March 2014. The hotel smelt of damp and the pool area was not inviting. Breakfast was very basic and not worth the money. Flannels and bathrobes had stains on them belt loops were missing. The plastic bath was so slippy it was a death trap(no bath mat). Hotel staff were not multilingual. This hotel is certainly not a 4 star!

Hotel is not current anymore e.g. no ventilation on room, fitness or bathroom. The entire building could need a refurbishing, as most is worn out. Outside, the paint looks old and the building not well maintained.

Very friendly staff, but we paid for half board and the evening menu only had two options. The food was not nice at all. The rooms have no natural light or ventiliation. Nice location though.

Le logement est très bien. Le seul bémol c'est l'isolation au bruit . C'est un endroit calme mais le terrain de tennis été juste à côté de notre chambre et on entendait tout. Mais sinon le personnel est top.

Hotel Tropical ligt ideaal tussen Durbuy en Barvaux. Ideale uitvalsbasis om de Ardennen te ontdekken en als je voor de formule HP kiest, heb je er ook nog eens lekker eten als avondmaal bij.

Prettih verblijf . Goed ontbijt en zeer lekker 4 gangenmenu. Locatie van hotel is zeer goed. Heeft enkel geen uitnodigende uitsraling en kamers zijn aan opfrisbeurt toe.

Beste alle kamers in het hoofdgebouw werden recentelijk vernieuwd en kregen nieuwe badkamer en slaapkamer. Er rest ons nog de buitentuin die we nu aan het opknappen zijn. De buitentuin is reeds in behandeling nieuw bruggetje,.. we zijn 3 maand gesloten geweest wegens covid dan onmiddellijk in het hoogseizoen we doen het nodige wanneer we kunnen. We stoppen nooit met de verbeteringswerken. Met vriendelijke groeten.

Bon séjour dans belle région.
4 jours avec mon fils de 12 ans pour profiter de adventure valley (5 minutes en vélo), de la région et du joli village de Durbuy (tout prêt, mais attention au relief). Hotel agréable, avec une chouette piscine, terrain de tennis (prêt de matériel, en état très moyen), de pétanque... Aire de jeux pour enfants qui mérite un rafraichissement. Chambre très propre et spacieuse, même si un peu vieillote. Bon petit déjeuner. Personnel accueillant et serviable. Je comprend les commentaires "vieillot pour un 4*" sans doute mis par des personnes habituées à des hôtels "moderne". Mais vraiment, nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Repas et service de qualité, très belle piscine
Très content du séjour. Accueil très sympathique, repas et service de très bonne qualité. Beaucoup de place de parking. C'est très agréable de piquer une tête dans la piscine en soirée en plein hiver ou de rester autour de cette belle piscine. Chambre pas hyper moderne mais très correcte et agréable. Seul point qui pour moi mériterait une amélioration : Le wc et le lavabo de la chambre est propre et dans un bon état mais un peu vieillot et un petit manque de place entre le lavabo et la douche.

agréable sejour
Très agréable d’etre hebergé loin du bâtiment central car dans ce dernier très forte odeur et atmosphère extrêmement moite (ambiance tropicale) Pas agréable le matin au petit déjeuner car l’air était limité suffocant.
