The ac did not work. I pointed this to the person who dropped of our bags. He claimed he changed the mode so it should be working. It did not! About 30 minutes later i complained to the front desk, who assured me that a maintenance person will look into it. When i checked back after dinner before heading to the room the same person he said it has been fixed. It was not! It was warmer in the room that outside. Hoodwinking guests like this is not expected from the Mercure brand :-(

Good place to stay
The rooms are small. Hotels itself is fairly new and is about 5 miles away from main area. Clean and bright location.

Hotel is 3 km away from town. When we reached there, highway work was ongoing. The approach to the gate was in bad shape. The rooms could have been bigger. The bathrooms are very small. The restaurant was good for breakfast but at the time of dinner the service was slow and lacking.

We stayed at Mercure Drawka because it was new and expected a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the rooms. Although the furniture was all new I noticed droppings on the floor near the window. When I notified staff, rather than change rooms they just cleaned it. Eventually they shown us other rooms which also had droppingsand ants by the windows. This was very surprising as a new building. We also noticed a lizard twice which went under room doors. The staff eventually moved us to a second floor bedroom which was okay. However, the water from the taps was coloured yellow, this had to be run for 10 minutes until the water become clear. We were the only people staying in the hotel. The breakfast was good and made to order. The hotel needs to deal with the infestation problem immediately.

Good Hotel...Very comfortable stay with my family to visit Dwarka. Helpful and co-operative staff they guide us to visit the city and temple timing. I recommend this hotel to others for stay.

Mercure Dwarka, very good stay
The hotel is very good and staff very friendly. The manager Arindam Mukherjee is exceptional, he approached me on arrived and advised about visiting the temples and what arrangements they have in place. The food is quite good and cooked to your needs. I left behind my Samsung charger, which was kindly couriered by the manager to my next hotel stay in Delhi. Very much appreciated.

This is relatively new hotel, away from Dwarka city, in a quite area. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food choices are limited.
