There was no hot water and no air in room. Scratchy old sheets. Desk clerk sprayed an aerosol in lobby just as I was coming in. We were both choking. Why did she do that? When I told management the problems they did not apologize and only said they’d have to call maintenance w.

Just ok..
This was my second time staying in this hotel. First time was ok. This time, not so much. The a/c didnt work very well. Set it to 65 (from 75). It would only kick in 3-4 minutes at a time and only once every 30 minutes or so. Also, our bathroom door did not close tightly. You could push on it to open it without turning the knob. Workers here are very friendly so that was a plus.

The floor was wet and stained my white socks dark brown. The room was very small, but what was a bigger issue for me was that there was so little room in the bathroom counter, I could not lay out my toiletries. The towels were small. If you are going to give small towels, then you will need to provide more than what you currently provide. I found there to be inadequacy regarding the pillows.

Second time here at Microtel. Second visit was much better than our first. Room was spacious and very clean. AC was a huge plus with heat outside. Receptionist was very polite and accommodating to our request. Felt very safe with numerous Border Patrol staying on premises. We will definitely be back for future visits.
