Second time just as magical
We enjoyed our first stay so much, we returned as soon as we could (just three weeks later). This beautiful, modern cabin with peaceful woodland views makes for a marvelously restorative getaway.

Disconnecting
What a wonderful place to disconnect and get away from the chaos of life. You felt like you were in the trees. 16 different birds were picked up at one time on our bird app off the deck and we had a flock of turkeys, the male in full display for an hour, along with his harem of hens right at the top of the drive. Great hiking nearby and the bar in Ferryville had amazing burgers and homemade, hot, potato chips. If you are looking to get away from the crazy this is the place to do it. The cabin was perfect, clean, well equipped with any need you might have!!! A very easy stay!

A dream getaway. Beautiful location. All the spaces were supremely comfortable, with a thousand nice touches. Packing tips, since you’re going to want to stay here: 1. If those sleeping in the Relax bed (which is a beautiful open loft) want to sleep in, bring eye masks to keep it dark. Great view of the treetops when you’re ready to wake up! 2. Good to know that the sound of the ice maker is just that, not someone trying to break in. Otherwise the quietest place we’ve stayed. 3. The driveway is quite steep, though our Prius (not 4 wheel drive) handled it just fine, tho we haven’t tested it in winter yet. We can’t wait to come back!

Another great stay at SereniTree
We really enjoyed our time here with our children. Quiet and peaceful- we made meals, went hiking, watched movies. In the words of my kids, it was “chill.” 😂 Thanks again for opening up your cabin to us- it’s a favorite!

Cute and cozy getaway
Tucked nicely into the trees with nice views everywhere you look out. The deck is a great place to hang out with multiple areas to enjoy. Don’t forget to look up at the stars at night. Wow! It’s a lovely place!

We had a great time and had everything that we needed! The cabin was very cozy and tucked into the hills of Crawford county! It was a very private setting and extremely relaxing! We will definitely be coming back!! If you’re thinking about booking this cabin… do it! You won’t regret it!!

Perfect 2-night getaway for my wife and I. Beautiful location and cabin. The hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating and cleanliness is obviously their focus. We will be sure to visit again in the near future.

Overview
We had a really great time staying at the property, very relaxing. The only problem I had all weekend was the address was a little wrong and we had to drive around a little bit to find the house but other than that it was a ver great experience!

Scenic and peaceful
The top of a ridge full of colorful October leaves is a gorgeous backdrop to this rustic but modern cabin, tucked away on the side of a wooded hill. It’s just a short walk to view the Mississippi River. Modern amenities throughout the property. Lots of room to socialize or just relax in. The beds are very comfortable. There are stairs to both bedrooms. The stairs to the loft are lighted (motion activated). The two bathrooms are well designed and have everything you need. The kitchen is a modern, cozy place to whip up a meal and socialize. Nice coffee bar area. Water tastes great! There is lots of outdoor lighting to illuminate the front and back of the cabin. The outdoor deck has a detached game room, gas (provided) grill, gas firepit and enough seating for up to 5 people. And if you’re really lucky you might glimpse a deer or other wildlife below. The drive through the October countryside is stunning. Prairie du Chien is scenic 20-minute drive away, where you will find great food and shops, including an art gallery supported by talented local artists (of which there are many). A much needed relaxing getaway. Kevin and Heidi respond promptly and pleasantly. A great find!!

A great cabin to escape to. We enjoyed every moment unwinding in the swing chairs, out on the deck, and curled up with a book in front of the large windows. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and black stone to cook all our meals. The thought and care put into this cabin shows in every detail. A wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Spacious and cozy at the same time. It felt very secluded even though houses are nearby. The extra touches were really great, the outdoor hanging egg chairs, the coffee station, the nack deck, all very nice! Nice location and proximity to Wyalusing and Pike's Peak State Parks. Thank you for sharing this beautiful cabin, we loved it.

Beautiful modern cabin
The cabin is absolutely beautiful with the perfect balance of authentic cabin feeling combined with very modern luxuries. Everything was very clean and the cabin had everything you need for a relaxing getaway, including large jacuzzi tub, both indoor and outdoor gas fireplaces, new appliances and comfortable bed. I can’t say enough good things about this rental!

Serenitree Cabin is beautiful inside and out. Tucked away from the main road it was so peaceful and relaxing. Only 15 minute drive from Prairie du Chien area. Owner was very responsive and accommodating. Cabin had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend a stay here.

Fabulous cabin! Very modern & comfortable, we didn’t want to leave. Loved the location, felt hidden away from the world. I hadn’t spent time with my son in a year and this hideaway was the perfect place to reconnect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The Cabin Really is the Vacation
I came here with my husband for some peace and quiet from our busy lives, and that is exactly what we got. The outdoor spaces allowed us to enjoy the wildlife and enjoy some delicious meals. The indoor spaces invited rest and relaxation. A minor issue arose, and the owners went above and beyond to take care of things. The cabin is well designed and amenities are well thought out and ample. I won’t hesitate to book SereniTree again.

Great cozy cabin stay
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. Great place for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, cozy blankets, great deck (although the weather was cold). Beds were firm. Basement bedroom had plastic on the mattress which was unpleasant. Windows had no coverings so if you are someone who likes to have blinds closed after dark, this might not be the place for you. (Note - neighbors are not close, just trees) Overall satisfactory stay and would highly recommend and would stay again!

Great spot and great place.
This is new build and the owners did a great job designing and setting up the house. It’s perfect for a couple or small family or a couple of couples. Two different sitting and lounge areas so you won’t be on top of each other or the kids have their own space. I went solo this trip but will go back with my wife. Just across the road from the a bluff overlooking the Mississippi. The house has the forest view but it’s lovely and a great starting point for exploring the Mississippi region.

Annual autumn trip to the river was excellent
The cabin was clean and very nice. We have been going to this area in the fall for over 40 years and have stayed at different cabins. Although there was a mile of gravel to get to the cabin, it was worth it with two living areas and a loft. King size beds, the outside entrance whirlpool, several tv's with WIFI and more than one bathroom made are stay in the Prairie du Chien area fun and relaxing. Would recommend highly. We had to contact the host and he was more than helpful and friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a great location, calm and peaceful. We saw quite a few deer and a couple of groundhogs in the back yard. The cabin was very well designed and was beautifully decorated. We went on a few outings, but spent lots of time relaxing and playing games.

Great Little Get Away
The house was great. The place was away from others on a semi-private road. Driveway is steep. The house is modern with some nice amenities, clean, and has all of the supplies to stay. We had rain for a few of the days we stayed and were able to make a good stay in vacation playing games, lounging in the hot tub, cooking meals, watching movies/shows, and enjoying time together. We did have a small issue with the tv, but the host was available to help us and guide us to get the internet working again. Great stay. Liked that we were not right next to other houses or places. We even got some morning coffee watching 6 deer out the back windows.

We had a great time staying here. Everything was as described. Jacuzzi tub, fire pit, fireplace insert were all nice touches. Clean throughout, very peaceful with the wooded back yard. Definitely will stay here again!
