Difficult to locate. The staff person was great but there was a storm related power outage so no one could be checked in. I had to find another hotel and assume I’ll be credited. Again, staff person couldn’t have been kinder and sympathetic, but a freak storm created havoc throughout the neighborhood.

Plain hotel on a service road. I was pleasantly surprised that the breakfast buffet scrambled eggs were excellent. And they have a waffle machine. Hotel seemed to be popular with bicyclists.

Red Roof's policy of taking a $100 deposit, and then return your money in 7-10 days, is unprecedented. I have travelled all of the world for 4 decades and have never encountered this. I won't be staying with them again.

Bugs. I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and as I passed the sink, a bunch of small bugs, probably 10, on the walks and sink scurried away into the corner of the sink area. I could only imagine them crawling all over my toothbrush and other items around the sink area, and am concerned that they crawled into my toiletry kit and somehow made it from the hotel back to my home. Also, my 7:45 shower was ice cold on Thursday morning. On a good note, the staff was friendly. I took pictures of the bugs which appeared on multiple nights and once in the morning.

Nice comfortable and clean hotel
Front desk extremely helpful. Quite room and hotel with new laminate floors. Clean and comfortable stay and very reasonable. Highly recommend. Didn't get a chance to try the breakfast but they did have a small box of goodies for us with water juice and breakfast bars and trail mix.

This is probably the best, budget friendly hotel I have ever stayed at! It was very clean, very quiet, and the front desk clerks were very nice and courteous. Everything worked as it should, and the price was extremely fair. The only downfall is that the entrance to the parking lot is hard to find because it is located at the very back of a shopping plaza, and there is no signage displayed to direct people to the entrance, and there was no lighting along the entrance, so you are not able to see it. It was very hard to find at night, so we drove in circles around the hotel and down the highway at 3am in attempt to locate the entrance. Beside that minor inconvenience, I highly recommend this hotel, and I would absolutely stay here again (especially now that I know where the entrance is)!

The hotel itself was great for what we needed it for. You know that it is priced reasonably, so while it’s not the Ritz Carlton, it was clean & the staff was so nice. Other guests complain about the way to get there, it is dark and the street is a bit deserted looking, it was fine. Safe for families and very quiet area. Would definitely stay there for the price and convenience of Easton and Phillipsburg.

Stayed in town for my companies Christmas Party to avoid driving back home to New Jersey. Looks like it went through some updating... was informed about the accidental fee of $150 and that they would be doing work on the room doors due to updating the card readers... The room was perfectly clean No Bugs,No Stench,Especially No Dead Bodies Etc.... (Google reviews were horrible).. My bed was a bit soft, but I was only staying the night, so it served its purpose. The shower had great hot water & pressure. The only issue I had, which wasn't a big deal, was that the heating fan was a little loud whenever it turned on from the Auto mode. So I just shut it off and left it on fan mode...

Watch out for the roaches
Was next to rooms of 20 different people that all knew eachother, were loud, leaving their room doors open and going from one room to another, hotel also has a roach problem. Woke up with one crawling on me as well as pretty much seeing at least one running around the room at all times. With roaches when you see one or two that means they are everywhere! Disgusted. Never again.

I regret to convey that my overall positive experience during my stay was marred by a regrettable encounter with the hotel manager upon check-out. Despite having enjoyed a satisfactory stay at various 5-star establishments in NYC, the manager's behavior left much to be desired. Given the seemingly vacant state of the hotel and my accustomed check-out time extending until 1 pm, the untimely and confrontational visit to my room was both surprising and unprofessional. Everything was great… until I got charged the $100 damage/smoking fee. We did not damage anything nor smoke in the room ( I revised the room before leaving) no major damage on anything. This was a little disconcerting to me. I would like an explanation.

Horrible stay
This place was absolutely awful. From checking in with the hateful staff, to being told I couldn’t stay more than 7 nights because I might be a squatter, it was horrible. I said a squatter is someone who doesn’t pay, I’m here for work for a few weeks. I pay a week in advance plus deposit. They treated me like I was crazy for wanting to stay. I was also told I needed to leave my room for 30-45 minutes every other day while the housekeeper cleaned my room. I told them multiple times that I worked night shift and would love it if they could clean in the afternoon, and I was again told no. She said they had to stick to their cleaning list even though someone was still cleaning at 3PM. Housekeeping walked into our room without knocking more than once and instead of an apology, the manager screamed at me that they would NEVER enter a room without knocking. But they did. They sit at the front desk and watch the cameras 24/7 hoping to catch a guest doing something wrong. They took one couple’s deposit because the manager”thought she saw a cloud of smoke”which seems to be a trend if you look at the comments. I suggest doing your deposit on your debit card so you have a fighting chance of getting it back with your bank. I felt so uneasy the entire stay. I’ve traveled for 2 years and this was probably the worst one I’ve been to.
