If just one, two or three of you Perfect place to stay and enjoy Eastport! Clean and quiet. Close to downtown and plenty of beautiful walks from there also. Kitchenette has everything you need. I have stayed here four times and hope will be available next time I go.

This was our third stay (3-4 days) at this property during the summer. I have no complaints at all. It is a lovely site near where a longtime friend lives in Eastport. We are seniors with our adult son, who has Down Syndrome. He is quite comfortable on the couch that folds out into a large bed. We hope to stay again next year.

Staying here is just fantastic. We loved the location as it was close to the town and local supplies. Our 14 year old enjoyed the soft blankets. My wife and I enjoyed the overall space while my wife enjoyed the deep bathtub.

Fun week in Eastport
The place had not been cleaned when we arrived, but after speaking with the owner we were able to resolve the issue. The cleaning crew was not sure of our arrival date, so had not cleaned the space. No-one died, we slept on clean sheets, and had a home base for the week. I really liked having a kitchen, and felt like everyone involved (except my husband) was available and pleasant to work with. The apartment is entered through a garage at the side of the house, which may surprise you, but it gets you out of the weather to unlock the apartment door. Maybe a picture of that area added to the pictures would be informative. The apartment was a secure, peaceful spot to spend our evenings after a day of wondering around the east part of Maine.

Very nice unit in a larger house. Not right on the water - more than a mile away walking to get to waterfront. No A/C, but we didn't need it - good circulation with windows opened. Would rent again.

The apartment is perfect for our family of 4. Full kitchen, shared laundry, walk to Harris Point. Super convenient to the local IGA. It checked all the boxes. Especially enjoyed the sound of the waves during the storm and the fog horn in the Easley hours of the morning. It was a charming stay.

Small but adequate
The apartment is a part of a house with a private entry, shared laundry, and shared deck (although the other unit has their own private deck so there would be no reason to share - and no one did during our 4 week stay). The unit is small with limited seating. Pluses: quiet, private and clean. Minuses: the futon is not comfortable, the bed is on a fixed platform attached to the wall - very hard to make and/or change sheets; there is no water view - maybe years ago but nothing now. The wifi service was reliable and TV limited but good enough. We walked on local streets and experienced water views by doing so and made good use of the location for day trips, including crossing into Canada (you must use the Arrivecan app). Eastport is limited in all respects (shopping, eating, attractions) but has an impressive history. It is attempting to turn itself into an artist destination. We would recommend this unit for a stay (perhaps shorter than four wks) but it would be too small for any more than two people.

The apartment is clean and well-appointed. We had everything we need and the space is pleasant. There is not a direct view of the water but there is one a short walk down the hill. The street is quiet and the atmosphere is peace. The town of Eastport is a 15 minute walk away. If you are good with not being in the center of Eastport, this is a fantastic place to stay.

It was really as described on-line, very clean, homey and comfortable. Very nice and quiet at night. The bathroom was immaculate. We did not eat any real meals there, but that would not be a problem for anyone wishing to do that.

Great Place to Stay in Eastport!!
Great quiet location that is close to town and the grocery store. My kids and I really enjoyed staying here and being able to cook our own meals and relax while we were there. We would absolutely stay here again!

Nice place, secure, not sure if bed was made up fresh before we arrived as the sheets were pretty disheveled when I turned the comforter back. Lawn was not mowed. The view of the ocean was blocked by several trees.

Very clean and certainly well stocked. Nice quiet area and not too far from town area. For us, being an older couple, our only complaint was that the bed was only accessible from one side. Not a major issue but not convenient for us. We did find the bed to be very comfortable. We would certainly recommend this unit and these owners.

Cute apartment near downtown
I was thrilled to find a spot that was reasonably priced in the summer. It's a quiet apartment that's close to amenities. Major areas are about an hour away if you wanted to sight see. My only complaint is that there's an odor from the futon and the bedroom; so much so that my kid and I got sick. I had to leave the windows open the entire time until we left. I don't know if it's pet damage that didn't properly get cleaned but that's what it smells like. Also, be careful of the ants - they bite and are everywhere. My dog got bit and when I was standing outside for a few minutes my feet were covered in them.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable
We have been vacationing in Eastport for many years, but this was our first home rental. We were beyond pleased with the cleanliness and amenities that were provided. Very nice and modern appliances as well as all utensils, paper goods and linens you would need. A spacious deck with large gas grill provided us with a comfortable, relaxing outdoor area to spend time enjoying the serene beautiful wooded surroundings with a partial view of the bay! We will definitely be staying here again on future visits!

Hidden gem in Eastport
My husband and I were extremely pleased with our stay at this property. It was comfy enough for us 2 during our stay for a family event. The Jolly Breeze apartment was very clean. We found the bed to be comfortable and the kitchen had everything you might need. Our only complaint was that we felt the add showed more of a view of the water than there was. The water is there but beyond very tall pine trees. The location is fine, not right in the historic part, but easily accessible especially if you have bikes.

Overall, we liked this apartment. Contact from the owner was quick, complete, pleasant. The apartment was easy to find in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment was exceptionally clean which is really important to us. It was well stocked except for glassware. There were plenty of mugs for coffee drinkers, but only 3 mismatched glasses for cold drinks. Like others we found the futon to be very uncomfortable for sitting and watching television or reading. We didn’t sleep there so we can’t say whether it was comfortable for that. We also found the bed to be somewhat uncomfortable but we are used to an adjustable sleep number bed. We had our two big dogs with us (65 pounds each) and still had plenty of room to move around the apartment. The bath was very clean. The water pressure good compared to other places we’ve stayed. The tap water was good. We would stay there again.

Great apartment for a truly relaxing Downeast Maine experience!
Eastport is a lovely small town. We stayed for 2 weeks in the lovely apartment. Best lobster roll ever at Quoddy Bay Lobster! Eastport Chowder House was also excellent and there is a wonderful bakery in town! The apartment was as described and was extremely clean with a very comfortable bed. Joanne & Rob provided all the necessities for a great stay and responded quickly whenever we had a question. Digital key locks worked great! No worrying about a key! High end pots & pans! Lovely deck with gas grill! Large TV and internet. Highlight of the trip was a wonderful afternoon whale watching on the Jolly Breeze! The trip was well organized and the crew was fantastic! Saw lots of humpback whales, seals & a pair of bald eagles! One free ticket with our stay was a great benefit! Thank you! We only gave 4 stars because the futon was not very comfortable for sitting. Otherwise, I highly recommend staying in this apartment! Would definitely stay again!

The apartment was ready for my stay. It was spotless, and it included everything you could possibly need for your stay. The kitchen had everything needed for my stay. TV, internet, and cable worked perfectly. Bathroom was spotless! The back deck was wonderful and offered a peaceful view. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a peaceful environment. I plan to be back next year! Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to stay. The trip on the Jolly Breeze in St. Andrews, New Brunswick was absolutely stunning!

Great location, quiet and homey!
We like the location very much as it was very near downtown Eastport. Neighborhood quiet and nice to walk through. Kitchen had most everything needed for cooking; bathroom bright, clean and modern; apartment adequately roomy for 2 people and 2 small dogs. Would have been fun to use the shared porch and grill if the weather had cooperated. Only cons are the futon...not very comfortable and awkward to turn up and down as needed; also key entry system - double locks on the doors a good idea but having to wiggle, jiggle, pull and push...just frustrating. Would highly recommend sofa bed and better door locking system.

Wonderful place! Quiet and great location!
Our two day stay in this great apartment was a surprise 60th birthday present for my husband! We loved the place and the location near the water. Everything we needed, and then some, was provided. It was just great! Eastport was beautiful! We took a trip to Canada (only 40 minutes away) and visited St. Stephens and St. Andrews! Visited the island of Campobello, visited Franklin Roosevelt's summer home and drove to the lighthouse where we saw porpoises and, even, a whale!! My husband was so thrilled with everything! We'd do this again in a heartbeat!!

Joanne has made a lovely, high quality apartment attached to the main house and nestled behind the garage. Super for a couple, but can sleep 4. Suggest the name "Jolly Breeze" by the entry door. A Jolly Breeze of a stay!
This was my second stay! Such a nice, clean, well-equiped apartment. Terrific quiet street with nice neighbors, a short walk to the beautiful views at Harris Point. This time I was able to see the eagle's nest from the Harris Point cabins - the juvenile has been trying to fledge, it has been fun to check daily. I had a marvelous day whale watching on the Jolly Breeze, the day was glorious, saw finback whales, seals, porpoises, eagles, topped off by delicious pea soup made by Joanne. Eastport is a wonderful town, and the Carneys are terrific hosts!
