The lady was very nice when I checked in. The facility is kind of run down. The room I was given smelled really bad. I don’t know what kind of smell it was. My husband and I went to Walmart and go 2 bottles of Febreze and used 1 1/2 getting it to smell better. I am just not sure what I think of this place. I know I don’t want to stay again. “Continental breakfast” was Little Debbies and coffee.

There were burn holes in the sheets thay was clean but burn holes and we were in non smoking. There was only 1 chanel on the tv and it wasn't in english. Way over priced for quality. Good thing no bugs. And knowone bothered us.

The room I was given stated nonsmoking room on the door. There was cigarette burns on the nasty carpet and an ashtray on the dresser. The owners attempted to cover up the smell of cigarette smoke with room deodorizer which made the stench even worse. Hotel staff was friendly, hotel was quiet. In the future, I will drive the extra distance to saty at a hotel in Johnson City.

Floor in room was tore and i booked a smoking room so my husband could smoke in the room but there was no ash trays and the phone was burnt he had to go out sode and smoke

It was conveniently located. Room was very dated, dark, carpet was very dirty. No one came in to empty trash, make bed, clean towels for three days. No fan in bathroom, mold and mildew on walls. Holes in curtains. But quick to take a damage deposit.

This property was disgusting. The Travelers lodge needs a serious DEEP cleaning. Dirty unmade bed. The mirror in the bathroom was covered in spots.

Everything was great with the exception of the pool.I know they close the pool for the winter but there was no cover on it and it was halfway filled with green water. I wonder if they even open it for the summer? But we had a great stay and staff was wonderful!

They are remodeling the hotel. The room was quite large, a little out-dated - BUT - was very clean! They are working very hard to remodel, and there was quite a lot of activity in this area. The room itself had all amenities - mini fridge, microwave, TV, easy access to ice machine and coin-operated washers and dryers. I would definitely stay there again.

The property was dirty. My room was not serviced the entire 5 nights i stayed. They even asked for a deposit of $50 dollars for my stay after paying almost $800 dollars. I guess you live and learn.

We booked a room months ago. The morning of our reservation someone called and said the jacuzzi was messed up and did we want a regular king room. We said of course. That night, before we went to check in, someone called to tell us they didn’t have a room for us anymore.

Only good thing was we were allowed to check in early. Unfortunately, it was gross from there. How a motel can charge almost $200/night for a place like this, is a mystery and a shame. Rooms were dirty, rugs were disgusting and sticky (had to wear socks so our feet didn't stick). The swimming pool looked like a swamp. So no swimming...

Place could use some updating. In my unit, 1st thing I noticed was a musty oder. Had to go to Walmart to get some Febreeze. The bathroom door is in need of replacement door lock looked like it might not open back up if closed. Carpet definitely needs cleaning or better yet, replacing it. Bedding seemed to be quite older. Air conditioner unit looks original to the time of the building being built definitely needing to be replaced @!! Not a bad place overall, but definitely in need of some TLC!

The room was damp, no lights, floor was extremely dirty, terrible lighting, would never go back to this place again. Much rather sleep on a curb downtown in Elizabethton, then at this hotel!!!

Good for the price
For the price in this area Travelers Inn is your best option. The sheets are clean and the bed comfortable. Bathroom was clean and there was towels and basic toiletries. The biggest plus is there’s no BUGS and like I said for this area and the price that is hard to find. We enjoyed our stay and aren’t taking any unwanted pests home with us so we’re happy.

Hotel under new ownership. They are working on improving. Room was clean VERY reasonably priced for a NASCAR weekend only 20 minutes from Bristol. Front Des staff was VERY accommodating

The carpet holds so much dirt that all the perfume they put on it makes it worse. remove the carpet, and replace with vynel or something cleanable

I booked a king size bed online, yet they tried to give me a room with 2 full beds. They ended up fixing it and putting us in a king size bedroom. The sheets did not fit the bed. Sheets were coming off the mattress and wouldn’t stay on. Stains all over the sheets, blankets, towels, etc. People yelling outside the room and horns honking in the middle of the night. One day when we left for about an hour, we left the tv on, but when we came back to the room, the tv was turned off. Yet, they said no one hand been in our room. The front desk employees were very nice, but very displeased with the condition of the room and beds.

Staff was indifferent to our checking in, not welcoming. Outside of building has new paint, no plants, almost looks abandoned. Room hasn't been remodeled since the 80's, holes in walls, old fixtures removed but paint never fouched up. The security lock on the door was broken, the door stud was missing, I wedged a chair against the door. The bathroom was minimalist at best. When we returned to the room for the night we found roaches in the room. Due to race fans in the area there was no other rooms available. Would NEVER recommend this hole to anyone.

Hot time at the Travelers Inn
We were not expecting the Hilton when we checked in, we were however expecting the air conditioner to work. The room was unbearable hot and no one slept. We purchased a fan the next day and was able to cool the room enough for the air conditioner to start working.
