Older Motel

The place was fine for a 1 night stay. Needs some things updated. Chalking around bathtub was gross.

Very good hotel for a night on the road

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: Location was quiet but super close to the highway
We were on the road from Bozeman to Vancouver and stayed at the Econo Lodge for one night. We got a lot more than we expected. Our room had two queen beds, a microwave and a refrigerator. Stuff was super friendly, 24 hour check-in was great. The room was clean and well set up. Breakfast was simple but enough to get started. We liked it so much that we came back on the way home.

-Being Renovated

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: Right off the freeway. Dairy Queen near by.
Cons: Bigger room? Honestly I got what I expected.
They are in the process of renovating. Our room smelled of new carpet. It was clean and everything worked. They had a nice usb charging station on the nightstand. The room barely had enough room for the two double beds, but worked for our quick overnight stop. The breakfast was the usual waffle maker, kids cereal, english muffin/bagel with toaster fare.

Online Booking Forgets to Mention Stuff

Posted Jul 12, 2015
Booked online. There was no mention of the remodel taking place. My room was supposed to include a fridge & microwave. Nope. (We were traveling and wanted to save on not eating meals out.) Could have saved money staying elsewhere. :/

Our apology for the misunderstanding. We do have fridges and microwaves in all but maybe 10 rooms. Our hotel is upon availability. If we are not sold out and have a room open to switch rooms if alerted we would have done so.

Great stay for the price.

Posted Jul 11, 2015
I stayed for a week, and enjoyed my time there. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean rooms. They were in the process of replacing the flooring throughout while I was there, and were still quite. The lake is really a rain filled gravel hole, but is still very nice. There are picnic tables.

Clean and comfortable Motel

Posted Jun 27, 2015
The weekend was hot while we watched girls softball in Selah. It was nice to come and relax in a clean comfortable room. While the staff was not overly friendly, they were cordial. Breakfast was the normal continental that you expect - area was kept clean and food replenished.

Better than expected

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Nice simple amenities like a desk and chargers (but the light on the desk didn't work). Cleaner than expected.
Cons: Plumbing is way too loud.
Clean room and nice facilities for the price. Only downside was the extremely loud plumbing - I could hear all the showers running around my room. Good value for the price. Wouldn't stay for more than a night or two but good for a rest stop or business traveler.

Makes do

Posted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: The service was nice for us! Some really nice people running the place.
Cons: Not the safest feeling location and wish we had AC.
Location: Easy to walk to nearby locations downtown and food
First of all this hotel is in a part that locals literally made jokes to us about, "Oh have you been to east Hastings street?? That place is sketch!" And it is. Tons of homeless people is why. We walked by them a handful of times but we made it so that's really what counts. You can't beat the price. Personally we didn't have AC i'm not sure if that was the hotel or just us but it could get really hot we just had a fan in our room to use. Lastly, you do actually have to pay for parking, there's no overnight free parking near by that we could find, it was 9CA a night. Also if you have a problem with hotels that use keys instead of key cards.. This place uses keys. There is a latch on the door and so we used that and put a chair in front of it as well just because we weren't comfortable with having just keys.

Pleasant Surprise

Posted Jun 5, 2015
Pros: Lake view. Private entrances.
Cons: Door needs weather-stripping. Plumbing noise from adjacent rooms. Upgrades coming soon according to sign.
My expectations were fairly low, as I was not expecting much from a budget hotel. But, the place was decent, the room and bed comfortable and it was pretty quiet. Great for a fast overnight near downtown.
