We had a nice stay overall but felt that the price was too high for the room and experience provided. For example, the appliances were dated and television didn’t work.

Great place to stay for easy access to Crystal Mountain or summer hiking and adventure. We loved the welcome kit for our dog (food bowls, towel, treats, tennis ball, etc), the heated pool, smores by the pool, and beautiful hiking trail into the national forest right outside our door. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The little store on site is great and has snacks, drinks and free coffee and hot cocoa bar.

Very nice no nonsense property. Loved the fact that they have wood fireplace inside and they give you logs which adds to the experience

Would never recommend! The only good thing about this property was the communication from staff letting us know all their excuses for having the pool close, the Direct TV not working etc. Our room was dingy, the fluorescent lighting in the kitchen made it even more so,hairballs on the bathroom floor, smelled like a campfire. It's in dire need of an upgrade! I am sure the steps up to the loft are not up to safety codes.

This property is in a beautiful location, and I was very impressed with the size of my room. I was not, however, pleased to find several black hairs lining the bathtub as well as some sort of leftover nail clippings. It was as if the bathtub hadn’t been cleaned prior to my arrival. I also would’ve preferred being given an upper level room as the man above me paced along the creaky floor (my ceiling) for over an hour starting at 5:30 AM the next morning. Some sort of soundproofing or mitigation should be considered before placing guests in ground level rooms.

Beautiful area, right in the mountains, quiet and wooded. The unit was great, everything you could want, and it even had my favorite toiletries, Molton-Brown. This place knows what it is doing! I will absolutely try to come back.

Very quiet tucked away in the woods. No highway noises! Room is a little dated but very serviceable. Definitely not ADA (not an issue for us - yet!) Have to climb ladder/stairs to loft area. A lot of deferred maitenance!

This hotel saved our trip to Mount Rainier National Park. I realized that the road heading West to Paradise from Grove of the Patriarchs is closed during the week. The detour requires one to leave the park and drive around to Western entrance at Nisqually. We were already driving from Spokane and wanted to spend some time hiking in Sunrise. So, we booked a night here. The property is organized and texted us the day prior to our stay with instructions. The front desk personnel were helpful at recommending dinner options. The unit had a kitchenette, small refrigerator and fireplace. The woodwork was a bit worn but everything was clean and a welcome gift on the table. We did not utilize, but there was a pool and an area with hammocks. Nice wooded setting . A short 20 minute drive to park.

Two stars because for how expensive it is, and how remote, there needs to be someone available in a case of Emergancy or concern. I was very worried about my carbon monoxide detector and needed help but couldn’t get a hold of anyone because their phone shuts off at 6pm. Also tried to email them with this concern and got no reply- I think they mainly operate by phonecall for communication, except when safety or help is of issue after their office hours…

They are doing major work on the property -- so some of my quibbles (the easy chair was in rough shape; the remote for the TV changed channels and did on/off fine, but did not adjust the volume) are probably best overlooked. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchenette properly clean and equipped, and the location is WONDERFUL.

Very friendly staff and close proximity to the slopes. The shuttle to crystal mountain is very convenient to avoid parking and the driver is super nice. Kitchen is a bonus for morning breakfast and the fireplace w supplied firewood is a gamechanger after hitting the hottub. Overall very happy with my stay, ski trip, and the nature I was fortunate enough to observe. Will be staying here if Im in the area again.

The room was comfortable and quiet. The nearby hiking trails were awesome! The staff were welcoming and helpful. The couch in room A4 (pet friendly room) was dirty and stained.
