About this property

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Cozy two bedroom log cabin on the Chena River near town.

One bedroom has a queen size bed, the other two twins. There is also a carpeted attached garage that gives additional space and has a double bed. You actually enter the house through the garage so, except for the door that makes it handy to bring in luggage, you wouldn't know it's a garage.

It sits on a three and a half acre lot right next to the cabin with the addition that we have used for VRBO for the past two years. The original owner built what is now our home for them and this cabin for his folks in the 1950’s. We have lived here for 50 years and find it a special place.

Lovely historical cabin in a breathtaking location
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this little cabin. It has a lot of character and was cozy and warm. Plenty of parking and an outdoor outlet to plug in. The drive was plowed regularly. Comfy couch and picture windows overlooking the chena river were amazing for relaxing at the end of the day. This cabin is right on the river, and I would love to come back during the summer. The bathroom is small, but there was plenty of hot water, and a washer and dryer too.

Cozy "hunting cabin" vibes
Stayed here in October - It's 10 min drive from downtown Fairbanks but feels more secluded inside, nice view of the river, and feels very cozy and rustic. Would stay again.

Quaint home with lovely outlook
Thank you Martha for allowing us to stay upstairs with a lovely river outlook. Great kitchen and easy accessibility to Fairbanks. Only concern was smell of smoke and could have been a little cleaner.
