It is not a fancy place but based on the price we paid, I think it is fairly reasonable. Front desk Christina is very helpful and she even carried my luggage up the stairs. Location is good. Breakfast is basic stuff with instant coffee and not to my liking. Again, with the price we paid, I would not complain at all. I do not like the AC location in the balcony. The exhaust from the AC is blowing into the balcony so we can’t really use the balcony. I would give A+ rating to the service, friendliness & the location but if you prefer more plush places, you may need to pay more at other hotels.

This is a modest hotel - a 2 star so I was t expecting luxury just a comfortable stay for nights. The staff were friendly, the room comfortable with a little balcony. The shower worked fine but it was rather small but hey I have seen worse. Because of Covid breakfast was in the room,so I don’t know what it is normally like. There was only instant ‘coffee’ and things in packets and bits of cake . At least I had an earl grey!

The property's location is excellent. The staff was OK. small room no elevators so it was a bit difficult to take luggage up. breakfast was very simple comparing to other hotels.

Beautiful hotel that is a short walk to the Ancient Ruins of Delphi. Wonderful staff. Has street parking that is hit or miss but overall is worth the stop!

This is a charming little hotel in Delphi. Wonderfully situated close to Delphi sights shopping etc. Yes shower is small but the charm and friendliness of the staff make up for this. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Great view and good value
The view was great and it was close to the ruins. Parking was a little bit of a problem. Breakfast was nice, different from what we are used to in the US but there was a lot to eat and a chance to try something different. Room was clear and comfortable. Not a place for anyone who has trouble with stairs as there is no elevator.

Great place
Great place with friendly staff, clean and well-maintained rooms, good breakfast. Only downside is that area parking is problematic.

Let me clarify that this five star rating is based on the "you get what you pay for scale". If you are looking for a luxury resort this ain't your place, but if you are looking for a clean room, friendly staff and good free breakfast in a place that is close to Delphi then this is your place. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Beautiful scenery. The room is vy clean. Shower cubicle too small, hence cannot close the door. Other than that no other complaints, charming place and well decorated.

Beautiful hotel in Delphi
This was a great hotel for visiting Delphi. We had a family room which was basically two double rooms joined by a hall way. This was perfect for a family of 4 with kids that are 17 and 20. The views from the room were gorgeous. The breakfast was good and filled us up before we went to tour the ancient ruins. The air conditioner was really good and kept the rooms nice and cool. Parking can be an issue as the only parking is on the street near the hotel or public parking down a ways from the hotel. We were able to stop quickly and drop luggage at the door and then went around and found a parking place about 2 blocks from the hotel. The staff was very helpful and assisted in carrying the luggage up the stairs. I would recommend staying here if you are staying in Delphi. There are plenty of restaurants near the hotel. One that is in the Fodors travel book is only two doors down and is worth going there for dinner. Overall a great stay at Hotel Varonos.

Ok for one night
We stayed at the Varonos Hotel for 1 night and overall it was a pleasant stay. Breakfast is very good, linens were clean and location is central. What we did not like was that there was a lot of noise coming from Cafe Amigos across the street until very late at night and we needed some rest after a long day. Also early in the morning the housekeeper barged into our room by mistake and that was very annoying, especially after so much noise the night before. Showers in Greece in general are tight but this one was almost impossible to work with and I'm a small person.

Owner was considerate & hospitable but that does not belie the dated condition of both the property and the bed rooms which urgently need refurbishment. Breakfast had only cold items and was just about adequate. Bathroom was very small with antique cistern and small shower.

Great Views
