Although there was construction occurring at this time, the service and hospitality was lovely. We enjoyed staying at a less busy time and the service and staffing were still optimal.

This is a great property- keep in mind the decor is intentionally in old German theme. Having said that- it’s was a cool hotel to stay in. The beds and pillows we’re comfortable and I don’t usually sleep well in hotels- but I slept great here. It’s also a great hotel for kids… the new part of the waterpark was under construction when we went but that’s fine- the other pools and water slides were still open!

One of our 3 bedrooms had bed bugs, the other two bedrooms were filthy! Very disappointing! Not sure I will go back!

Hi Maria, thank you for taking the time to post your review. I've had the opportunity to review your 3 reservations (with Kara and Brittany) and found no notes relating to any complaints. I checked with housekeeping, who immediately investigated the rooms and found none of your rooms contained bed bugs. Are you sure you're reporting on the correct hotel stay?

Unique the comfort feeling, safe environment and nice staff. I go every year. Dislike service at Oma’s was not the best experience. Someone with weed smelling made the hallway to my room truly bad the whole hallway smells horrible, I hate marihuana smell. Asked the housekeeper to do air refresher and that contained for a while, later on was same smell again. No ideas how you could fix that but it’s uncomfortable. Regards

Thank you for staying with us a Bavarian Inn Lodge. Unfortunately, guests come in with smoke smell on their clothes, but we always make a concerted effort to ensure the smell is neutralized as soon as we are made aware of it.

While the noise is minimal, and confined to daylight hours, we understand that some of our guests are sensitive to an array of sounds. Many guests welcome the earplug option.

The staff was not the best we never received any thing from the office that we requested I had to go get them on my own the ratter restaurant was not good at all service was rude food was cold and they didn’t care at all

One of our absolute favorite places to vacation! The staff is helpful and there are so many family friendly options of things to do. Ratskeller food and Root Beer are great! Kids were so excited about the expanded game area too. We did the Willy cookie service - definitely recommend this service at least once. Parking was a bit tricky this time because of construction but we are excited for the expansion of the water park!! Looking forward to our tip back this fall.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel during our kids March break from school. We were blessed with fantastic weather during our stay so that made walking around Frankenmuth, down the river and around the shops super enjoyable. For the hotel itself, we were given a cot for our 3rd child and that worked out really well. I loved the scent of the shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion that they provide in the room and appreciated that it was given in large containers. The only thing that kept me from giving a 5 star review is that during our ONE rainy day where we planned to stay around the hotel the waterfall pool was closed down for maintenance and for much of the day, only 1 slide was running. There was also an event going on in the hotel - The Taste of Frankemuth - I believe it was called that took up ALL the parking. As hotel guests, we had to park our vehicle way over by the River Place shops and then run back in the rain. (Then, go back to retrieve it later in the evening so that it wasn't left out in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night). It would be nice if some of the parking (such as near the rear tower entrances) was reserved for hotel guests only. The construction of the new entertainment area was going on while we were there but it did not bother us at all - it's possible there was a worker strike of some sort going on but regardless, other than a not pretty view it did not lower the enjoyment of our trip at all. We would go back.

Dear Melissa:Thank you for the perfect score on this site and especially for choosing the Bavarian Inn Lodge.We are so very excited about the next phase of the Fun Center Opening in later May with the 3 story Ropes Course; 4 lanes of miniature Bowling and 3 - 26' tall climbing walls! Plus another 200,000 in video/arcade games coming.Then... in late Fall (we hope) the big water park opens with 16 MORE slides, wave pool, not-so-lazy river and so much more coming... we look forward to helping you have a BLAST at the Lodge and in Frankenmuth for many years to come! We enjoyed our stay at the property. Lots to do on the property and walkable to in town shopping and Bronners. Staff were very friendly. We loved the family atmosphere. Food was just so so and rooms were fairly dated.

The stay was excellent. The only issue we had with the little kids using the hot tub as a play area.
