"This property is a complete bogus listing. It is not charming. All the surfaces in the house are sticky---floors, counters, bannister, etc. There were bugs. Broken light switch. Aug 28, 2019Once we got beyond the area directly around the hotel, Freeport was lovely. We very much enjoyed Jones Beach, the Nautical Mile, and the local parks.

Aug 26, 2019The area right around the hotel was dirty, unsafe, and loud - especially when the restaurant next door had live music until 11 pm. But we loved Jones Beach and The Nautical Mile. The town overall was very sweet.
