“Good Experience”

First time to Gatlinburg. We enjoyed our stay mostly. The hotel does feel a bit old but the rooms feel newer. The room and bathroom were clean. Parking could have been a bit better but it's GBurg and parking is already at a premium. Easy walk to everywhere in GBurg. Was it perfect? No, but it was okay. I would try it again.

“Trip”

Door of bathroom was nasty, but otherwise for price it was ok. It was a connecting room and noise from the other side was like they were in the room with you.

“Already planning our next visit!”

My husband and I decided on Days Inn and Suites after we got to Gatlinburg later Friday evening. We were pleasantly surprised! The check in was smooth, desk worker was friendly, hotel and room was very clean. We'll definitely be back!

“All that we needed...”

While not the Ritz by a long shot, our stay at the Days Inn was all that we needed for a 4 night stay in Gatlinburg. Clean room, hot showers, cold air conditioning and a comfortable bed with lots of pillows. The continental breakfast in the lobby was enough to get the day started out right. We would rather spend our vacation dollars on dining and attractions, rather than a pricey hotel!

Area recommendations

Any hotel located along the parkway in Gatlinburg is worth it! There are locations further off the road that may have been cheaper, but unless you want to drive into town and pay parking (which can be rather outrageous!), pick a spot somewhere in town. Parking is easy if you want to drive into Pigeon Forge, free, from what we saw, but in Gatlinburg you are better served with a good pair of walking shoes!

“Not Worth It”

The convenience of the hotel was great, but the price that was paid was not worth it. Especially when you wake up at 4 o'clock in the morning and find BED BUGS all over the bed.

“Best way to stay in the Smokies”

This motel is old but it is being renovated. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were close enough to walk to every part of town, but on the fringes so it was easy to get where we needed to go with the car without having to go through the crowded streets of town.

Area recommendations

Dollywood was great! Amazing rides! We also love the various hikes to waterfalls. There is a hike for every fitness level. Cataract Falls to Chimney Tops.

Dining

Pancake Pantry is incredible! If you like gooey pancakes with delicious toppings, you can't beat the Pancake Pantry. The Apple Barn on the border of Pigeon Forge and Sevierville is also very good. You get a lot of food for your money. Apple julep, salad, soup, main entree, sides and dessert.

“Clean and close to everything downtown”

clean rooms and pretty close to everything downtown we pretty much walked to everything since the room was so close to downtown Witch is great considering that gas is 3.60 a gallon only complaint is the elevator was a little sketchy...

“Better on the inside ! Don't go by the looks of the outside !”

The room was very nice, clean, and looked to be newly remodeled. The lobby, elevator, pool area, hallways, and outsied of building NOT impressive at all, and looked run down almost. I was very concerned when we pulled up, got out, and then went in.....but was VERY pleasantly suprised when we got into the room!
