Nice hotel.

Posted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: The location was good. It was clean and comfortable.
The hotel was very nice. The only thing that was "off" was the elevator was a long distance from the room we had. We are over 65 and have bad backs, hips and knees. We decided that if we slowly went up and down the stairs outside of our room we would do as well as if we walked the length of the hotel to use the elevator. However, the room was very nice, clean and conveniently located. The staff was friendly. We had a very good night's sleep.

We love your hotel-stay here every year on our Spring Break. We also enjoy your river walk and the ducks, geese, etc. You have friendly & helpful staff. The cleaning staff is SUPER friendly. Thank you for the great customer service.

Smelly and Loud

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: The pool was a big hit with my 10 year old son
Cons: Cleaning or deodorizing the rooms and fixing the AC Units.
Location: The location is great. I highly recommend Bennets BBQ, Mels diner, and the MagiQest place down the street. My son had a great time at MagiQest.
Our room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The air conditioner hummed so loudly it was difficult to sleep. The walls are thin and we could here the guests in the next room keeping us up at night. The breakfast isn't worth it. We ate out for breakfast after the first disappointing trip to the breakfast room.

Stayed in better for the price.

Posted Apr 5, 2015
Check in was quick and easy but as soon as I Wales in, I could tell that the photos on line were very deceiving. My room was okay except for the shower curtain rod had been pulled out of the wall and put back in the same holes, it was barley hanging in the wall. The towel rack was also coming out of the wall. The indoor pool was extremely cold and the staff told me that the heater was broken and they were waiting on a part. The hot tub was nice the first day but the temperature seemed to have cooled off on it, also because the pool was so cold, the hot tub stayed crowed and kids were constantly getting out of the pool and jumping in the hot tub while my wife and I were trying to relax. The breakfast was okay but it was very crowed and not enough room for everyone to sit. The staff could not keep the food stocked so many time my family could not get everything they wanted for breakfast and when I said something to the staff, they were very rude.

Great Place for the Money

Posted Apr 1, 2015
Pros: Location, staff, indoor pool, rooms.
Cons: Fix door locks to make the work more quickly.
Location: Great location for Dollywood, Christmas Village, and The Island.
Great place to stay given the low cost. I couldn't believe it was an EconoLodge. The staff was excellent and the rooms were up to date. The only knocks against it is, that while the pool is indoors (which is great), you still have to go outside to get to your room. This can be a problem when it is really cold outside. Also, the door locks never seemed to work properly and required multiple swipes to open. Those are the only minor issues and overall it was a great place to stay.

Great experience

Posted Mar 29, 2015
Everything including the room, pool and breakfast was great. The only thing is breakfast gets pretty busy in the morning, not many seats were available and there was no restroom by the pool, or at least I couldn't find one. Over all experience was great.
