Quaint Inn on beautiful groundsPosted May 26, 2015
Pros: Charming, nice owners
Location: Gettysburg is 30 minutes away
New innkeepers had just taken over the place but everything was charming. Delicious breakfast, very accomodating. Lovely creek running through property with lots to explore. Only problem is it was a little too close to the main highway and there was too much traffic noise.

Gracious innkeepers.Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: We really liked that the Inn is located right off interstate 81. We did not have to go through the city of Chambersburg to access the Inn.
We highly recommend The Ragged Edge Inn. The Inn is beautiful, the breakfast was wonderful, our room was an oasis, and the owner/innkeepers were outstanding. We would love to stay again in this beautiful setting.

What a beautiful place to stay!Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Marvellously spacious common areas. \I felt like |I was walking through a piece of history.
Cons: It was early in the transition from the previous owners to the new that any improvements I might suggest would be unfair. Ask me again next time.
Location: They're about 25 minutes from Gettysburg - plenty to se there, Chambersburg looked quite nice as well but we weren't there for long.
We stopped at the Inn on our way back home for Washington DC en route to Toronto. Our hosts were about as gracious as you could possible be. They had been on the job for a little more than one week but it sure seemed like they had been there longer than that. I can hardly wait to go back a year from now to see what else has been done. I can only imagine that the late spring, summer and early fall months would be Eden-like.

Excellent!Posted Dec 10, 2014
The staff here are the nicest people. My breakfast was spectacular and our room was outstanding. We even asked what type of bed it was because it was extremely comfortable. We plan to make a yearly trip because we loved it so much.

We felt like millionairesPosted Nov 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
When we arrived at The Inn at Ragged Edge, we knew walking up the walkway we had picked some place special to stay. We were greeted by our host Lew and were welcomed into one the of the most beautiful "homes" I have seen. The Inn was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The wood work is phenomenal and expertly cared for. Our room was cozy with our own private jetted tub. After we settled into our room we decided to take "a tour" of the Inn and Lew informed us that the Inn was for us to enjoy and make ourselves at home. After a restful nights sleep we were served breakfast in the great room by our host, which was homemade by Lew's wife Fran. Fantastic! I could write more about the place, but if you find you need a place to stay, go to the Inn at Ragged Edge!

Quiet, beautiful and friendlyPosted Nov 6, 2014
Pros: The perfect B&B - Lou and Fran are sincere when they say you are a welcomed guest in their home. The breakfasts are i-n-c-r-e-d-i-b-l-e!
Location: The location is tucked away in the woods of Franklin County, but you're only minutes away from Rte 30 or I-81.
The Inn at Ragged Edge is a perfectly maintained country home with excellent amenities. Walking in the front door is just like setting your clock back 100 years but all the modern creature features are present. It's old world charm at its very best mixed with 21st Century comforts.

30 minutes from GettysburgPosted Aug 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
Looking for a peaceful night and not believing one could be found in Gettysburg during summer, we opted to drive to Chambersburg (appx 30 min.). Quiet location 1-2 miles from highway. Impressive dwelling, comfortable room upgrades, beautiful grounds to relax and enjoy. The owners are very nice and visible in the daily operations (greeting, preparing breakfast, etc) By the way, breakfast served by the owners, was quality and adequate for our tastes. The pride shows. I think all the rooms start on the second level so you will need to negotiate the beautiful staircase to retire (FYI). Probably not your best choice if you have to travel with a steamer trunk to be fashionable.
