Hello, I have booked a room (all inclusive) with a sea view for me and my wife. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, so I wanted to something with a bit extra. Didn't need a posh room, but a clean room with good bed and view at the ocean. The website was showing the view from this type of the room like you would be looking straight at the ocean. It was the view at another hotel nearby in our case. Only when you get at the balcony of the room, you would see on the left side the ocean. When I complained at the reception about this, I was told that it was still partially visible and the hotel stuff didn't want to rectify this. Only a manager offered us to pay additional 5 euros per day to get Supreme room with ocean view. It was the same as ours, but it was looking at the ocean as per photos. So, my advise - don't bother paying extra for the room with sea view, you never know what you would be looking at. The rooms - clean, good bed and beddings, although the design was a bit outdated (didn’t bother us - we were spending most of the time on a beach). The restaurant - more like canteen, good variety of food, good choices, Have to say, the waiters were super efficient and cleaning the table almost instantaneously. Excellent location - a sandy beach just "around a corner". Some shops nearby if you need to purchase toiletries etc. Overall - good value for money. Best regards, Rustam.

Great hotel Beverly Park
We loved this hotel for its great location to the sea with beautiful walks to Maspalomas and Dunas de Maspalomas. The cuisine, very helpful staff and cleanliness throughout the hotel are of a very high standard. On top of that we had nice weather, swimming in the sea was no problem. The hotel pools complemented the swimming opportunities. A great holiday that I recommend.

Exceptional value
Beverley Park absolutely exceeded my expectations. Food was fabulous, loads of choices and great quality. Restaurant hours were great and they constantly replaced food so it didn’t matter if you went in towards the end of service. Drinks on all inclusive were brilliant. Three pools, one beautifully heated, jacuzzis, masses of sun beds, close to lovely beach. Comfortable bed and pillows and lovely staff. This hotel is on the up and deserves more than its three stars

We stayed here AI for 4 night in a “superior?” Sea view balcony in March. The weather was perfect for us which meant we had a lovely time sunbathing by one of the hotels 3 heated pools. There was no shortage of loungers. The building is very dated and basic - could do with renovation. There was a colony of cats inhabiting the gardens and loungers. They were pretty and friendly but be aware if you have allergies. There were also cockroaches and small flies? Inside but I guess this is expected in an old building by the sea. It’s main criticism was the lack of entertainment, extensive smoking areas and reduced staffing at the very busy bar in the evenings It’s biggest asset was the exceptional friendly and helpful staff. There was only one pool bar in the middle of the 3 pools, , queue never too long but snacks had to be eaten there, we did take some drinks back around to the pool. The food was decent for a 3 star but you will never please everyone all of the time.

Friendly clean Hotel
Very good Hotel.. Clean friendly and food was good, plenty to choose between and i recommend going all inclusive for the best experience The only downside was from 7.00am you can hear the staff sorting out the hotel for the day ahead.. Definitely worth a visit

Looking a bit retro and poss a little tired. Stayed here as an emergency during calima as flight cancelled. The wind whistled through the windows loudly and caused whistling and quite a draft. We were on floor #7 Perfectly clean and functional.

The room looked better on pictures. There was no mini bar in the room unlike mentioned on the website. The bathroom need maintenance: The bath tub is patched up and the ceiling seems to have a bit of mold. The Bath tap come out of the wall. There is 20-25cm gap between the toilet and wall putting the toilet right on your way when getting out of the shower. It's not practical ! I paid 18€ for internet access on my phone in the room which didn't work most of the time and was slow when it worked. You are apparently able to stream movies (I didn't try) but it was already difficult to download a normal web page. The breakfast organisation could be better. You queue because they allocate you a table. However, when you are alone, the time you go get you food the table has been allocated to someone else (as I wasn't there obviously) and you end up seating at an empty table like you would have done without queuing. The door giving access to the beach and restaurant open using your room card. But it is locked after midnight or 1am so you have to walk all around the complex to enter via the reception entrance and it's not a short walk. Rules are unnecessarily too strict and I think some are inappropriate. For example: Water bottle purchased outside the hotel are not permitted to be consumed in the room and they reserve the right to charge the cost of each bottle; knowing that they advise you not to drink tap water in the hotel.

Dear Sir. Thank you for your review are positive for our improvement; However, in this regard, we take the view of the following: We do not have or publish that we have a minibar in the room. We have bar service from 10:00 to 01:00 and vending machines on each floor. Our rooms seem to us to be correct and enjoy a level of timely maintenance; however, we invest permanently and will continue in the immediate future with investments that will improve the comfort of the same and the hotel in general. We also changed the room if you don't like it. You can do so through Reception and leaving a note to Management as we inform customers. We have three hours of service at breakfast, lunch and dinner, we advise customers to avoid the peak hours. The access door to the beach is operational between 07:00 and 22:00 hours for security reasons, reaching the main door of the hotel involves walking up to five minutes more. We have bars and vending service is legitimate to aspire to consume our products inside the hotel and not those that are purchased outside. Thank you for your opinion. Best regards.

Pleasant and economical
The communal areas of the hotel were kept clean and the rooms were cleaned daily however we found baby cockroaches in our bathroom and parent ones in the corridor. Our room was small and in need of several repairs/refurbishments. The rules at the hotel make you feel like a criminal, you have to sign a contract before you check in stating you will adhere to the rules such as not drinking anything not bought from the hotel, not even water, unless you pay an extra charge. You have to put a deposit down for anything that is not nailed down such as the tv remote and bath plug! The staff were mainly friendly, but their English limited as most guests were Spanish. This includes reception staff who although helpful usually appeared annoyed that they had to help you. The food was great although not labelled correctly or at all, so but of a guessing game! Worth going all inclusive as drinks were expensive. Pools were lovely, lots of sun loungers and lifeguards always working. Entertainment was ok, usual activities plan during the day of aqua aroebics darts etc mini club at night, piano player most evenings and an occasional act. Definitely aimed at the 50+ clientele, theee were no fun adult games or chart music. The lighting in the bar was terribly bright and made it feel like a canteen. It’s alsi located a good 25 minute walk to any lively bars, including lots of steps. But taxi was only €3/4. Considering the price, I was happy with my stay, but wouldn’t stay again.

This is more of a retirement home than a hotel. Everything is catered towards an elderly population. Front desk staff was very rude right from the second we walked in and didn’t even smile despite our best efforts to lighten the mood. The staff at the restaurant was also very curt and extremely rude. We felt very unwelcome during our entire stay. If you are a vegetarian, don’t reserve any meals at the hotel’s restaurant. You will have to live on salads. Nobody at this hotel is willing to make any extra efforts to accommodate your needs. The Conceirge is non-existent. There’s just a table that is very rarely occupied by representatives from travel companies, that speak only one particular language (never English). That same table is used for card games later in the day so there’s literally nobody if you have to make any plans or ask for information. It just constantly feels like the staff wishes you weren’t there, or they wish that you were an old white person. It’s the sad truth.

HOTEL OK CLOSE TO BEACH
We were disappointed with the hotel as far as the room, which required updating. Plaster showing around the wardrobe and other parts of the room. Cleaning staff very friendly and attentive. The hotel entertainment was something out of the 50s. Bar staff not very friendly and you had to put money on your room card to purchase a drink. Could not buy with money at all.!!!!!!!! You had to pay a deposit for the remote control of 10 euros. I have never experienced this before. Gardens and pool were good with ample chairs and loungers, This is not a good hotel for the disabled or elderly as there are numerous steps or several very large ramps to gain access to the shops and bars.No access to drinks other than by the pool and could not get food until 12 noon.

I booked the half board to stay, and the food was excellent. Also the entaintaiment every night was fantastic. That is positive. The negative was that the internet speed at the hotel room are almost zero although I paid 27 euro for a week for it. Also the safe needs to be separately paid 12 euro which I was surprised. The staff were not too helpful at the reception, and someone was rude and not patient.

We will never return to Beverley Park!
The 103 steps meant you were isolated from the main town & therefore you needed a taxi to take you everywhere. You can guarantee the good weather,,,,,,it only rained once in 4 weeks so the hotels proximity to the beach was great for spending time in the sea. The hotel is desperately in need of a compete refurbishment & I would suggest DONT where white trousers to sit on the seats in the entertainment/bar area. the entertainment was also not worth staying in to watch.......in fact it would have been best to stay somewhere else, we definitely won`t go back!

Very dated hotel, but close to the beach
We arrived very late at night, the man at reception wasn't particularly welcoming (we noticed this about many of the hotel staff throughout our stay). Room was really dated, bed felt that it would fall apart as one leg was not straight at all. We were given two single beds rather than a double one. All furniture in the hotel was dated as if nobody had touched it since the 1960s. Carpets in the hotel halls were extremely worn out. Bathroom was very basic, and shower head was blocked from limescale. On the last day, the water tap in the bath broke and came off its base. Some toiletries were not replaced (e.g. shower gel was not even supplied at all and we had to use a single bar of soap for both hands and shower for the five days we stayed in the hotel). Important to notice that there was no safe in the room (not sure if this applies to all of the rooms), which was a bit of a pain as we didn't feel comfortable leaving valuables in the room, hence carrying them with us at all times making our holiday less enjoyable. Breakfast was very varied and generally good. Hotel is 1 minute walk to the beach, and close to restaurants and bars. We had sea view from our third floor room. In general, we felt it wasn't good value for money, as the overall experience was disappointing given the conditions of the hotel. However, location was good. Had we noticed a bit more friendliness from the staff and at least some intention of making the hotel look better, we would have given a better revie

Nice hotel with great pool area but basic
Best part was the pool area with plenty of space for everyone and closeness to the beach. The rooms where poorly sound proofed and I could here everything from neighbouring rooms or when the lifts went up and down. The buffet had a great selection of fresh salads etc but poor choice and quality of warm meat and food.

3 star but worth the money
We booked this 3 star for price and last minute holiday - It was more than ok for the price - somethings where missing - no tea making in room - no safe in room - carpet very worn in some areas - only clearing tables in restaurant -no service - most staff were very good - some not so good - bar very bare with no atmosphere - BUT - nice position for hotel - nice walk along front - plenty of food - good choice of food - great view from room (sea view room) - clean and tidy everywhere - This hotel was good value for a 3 star price - we would go back again

The food is very simple, quantity more than quality. We took the half board for 7 days so it was rather boring. Almost everything needs to pay extra just as other guests or reviews already mentioned. The pools are nice and the beach is just 5 mins walk away. We booked he seaview room whiche we really love. The only incident that trouble me is that we were told not to use our floating bed inthe pool. The pool guard said it was not allowed, and we should only use it in the beach. But the next day we saw two other girls on their floating beds in the pool from our balcony. We lost the lust to use the pool.

Decent enough but seriously dated hotel. The room had a tiny Cathode Ray Tube television hanging on the wall - enough said. The breakfast is pretty good it must be said. Bit of a walk to the main action down the other end of the beach, but there is a mini-strip just up the hill that has two very good restaurants and pizza.

On our arrival, we were asked to show a printed out comfirmation even if we have the booking number and email and credit card in front of them. On the last day, when asked the information about how to take a public transportation to the airport, the answer was taxi. When we metioned about bus, they saw us like questioning, why bus!!

Disappointing Berverly Park Hotel Gran Canary Stay
Such a basic hotel with poor facilities : 1. Hotel room very basic, no tea / coffee facility in the room, the ventilator fan in bathroom not working even when informed. 2. No hot water for shower in the morning due to some breakdown and no effort made to apologise. 3. The food was not only tasteless but very mediocre. It has the same menu every day. 4. No consideration for vegetarians plus the food is hardly being labeled at all. There were 3 different salads with all containing meat. When asked, the waiter replied that sometimes they are prepared without meat. 5. Even through advertised as hotel with 5 pools, most of the time they are unusable because only 1 pool is heated sometimes. 6. Even though when it's classified as half board, you have to pay for a glass of water during supper.

Good location, good price
The hotel is front of the bus stop to the airport, to las Palmas, to Playa Ingles/Maspalomas. It is in a quite area, so you sleep well as there is not disco, restaurant by. The hotel is a 5 kms to Hotel Riu the southern point of Playa Ingles and the begining of the dunes. The walk is pleasant by the walk sea path. The hotel should be rate 3 start as it needs renovation. It is in perfect condition. The buffet were ok with good selection of food. The staff were all very friendly and willing to help you any time.

Great value for money - good basic hotel.
The hotel is located on the edge of the centre of Playa del Ingles, so a 10 min walk along the beach road, including a very steep hill, or, a 7 minute walk around the inland path next to the motorway and your in. Don't bother with all-inclusive as their are plenty of eating places nearby. We saw all-inc guests paying for decent drinks and the queues for all-inc drinks at mealtimes were long. Basic hotel - 3 star at most, but kept very clean. Great pool and only a 4 min walk to the beach. Staff very helpful but didn't rate the evening 'entertainment' much on the odd occasion we stayed in - very Benidorm Butlins :0) Plenty of high chairs for our 2 1/2 yr old little girl who loved the pools and the jacuzzi !

You feel like back in time in this place, at least back to 70's If You like nice and modern decor in Your room, this is not that place! Basic room - without hear dryer and little TV (old school 14") Very good food!

Relaxing and stress free.
This is a very good very clean hotel with staff that are very pleasant. The food while not sensational on the British pallett is ok, you can always find something you will like. The hotel is just out of the town and a fairly steep hill with steps and a ramp make the walk less than easy, however you can walk in to town on the land side of the Hotel much easier with a sloping path. walk back on the sea side if you like who cares going down hill . I had a room on 6th floor with a sea view and was happily surprised how relaxed both the room and the hotel made me feel. My visit was in February and me and my wife loved the place . It's better than some hotels with 4 stars. Don't worry it is good value for what it is.

Rude staff and Dirty Rooms
I only hope that people consider this review, as the hotel has to change as it was awful. Negatives Rude Staff. Once instance. The computers did not work. I explained this and they said they are working. The man with a mustache and glasses told me that he does not need to check as he knows its working. After calling me a liar he finally checked and saw they were off. Also, there is one woman that is rude and abrupt whose favourite word is NO. She looks down at you through under her glasses in an intimidating manner. There are so many other examples of rude staff. Room wasnt cleaned. Also, the pillow cases had black marks on them as well as a brown crusty material!! Goodness knows what that was. Paid full price supplement for a sea view, only received part sea view. Positives. This is the only thing that will draw people. Thats only if you pay the supplement and get the FULL sea view. If it wasnt for the tour groups I do not think the hotel has a chance. Rude rude staff.

Beverly Park Hotel
Me and my girlfriend went the first week of June 2011. We chose the Hotel based on location and amenities - and in retrospect, this was definately the right place. There are two big pools with plenty of space around each, it is located 100m from the promenade, and these are huge sandy beaches in walking distance in all directions. The main bus routes all stop outside the hotel also which made travelling to various towns and the airport very easy. According to the locals, it was still classed as winter so the area was very quiet - which actually suited us fine! We were the only Irish/English in the Hotel - the majority of the residents being Germans and Spanish, and of these, 95% were of retirement age. The food was okay. We were half board which was handy, but were completely satisfied going out for lunch and dinner because the restaurants in the area were absolutely delicious and very cheap. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Couldnt doubt them in the slightest. The room was basic, but had everything we needed. It was a sun holiday and werent spending much time in the room anyway. They were cleaned everyday also. Overall - we were very satisfied. A great place for a relaxing holiday / family holiday. If I was going for a wild party style holiday, may try somewhere closer to the centre of Playa del Ingles simply because we were the only young people however. Great holiday - would definately visit here again. John

Very good with nice atmosphere............!!
Was very comfortable in this hotel. Went for a chill out 3 days of sunshine and that is what I got.... cloudy/windy some of the time but it was January! It is is a very welcoming and warm hotel and the staff were all so pleasant and friendly. The buffet food was very good, fresh and with a selection to suit anyone and despite the hotel being full, the restaurant was very well managed and you never got the impression you'd to leave as soon as you'd finished eating. Pool areas are very spacious, lovely grounds with plenty of sunbeds, no shortage at all even though the hotel was full. Other guests were mainly Spanish speaking, German, Polish, not so many English speaking, which I didn't mind at all........ Very convenient to prom and beach and uphill to a small shopping centre with a few bars, restaurants and shops where you could buy anything you needed. A little bit far to walk anywhere else really. Entertainment after dinner was mainly for the over 50s as most of the guests were this age, getting away from a Northern European winter! If you're young and after night life you would need to get a taxi into Playa Del Ingles. €3 - €4. Bedroom was on 6th floor which was nice and quiet at night - balcony had great sea views. TV had 2 English speaking channels, CNN and BBC World. Remote control from reception, deposit €15. Bus no 66 from airport leaves at 20 past the hour and stops outside hotel 30 mins later - €3.75. Will definitely be back to the Beverly Park!
