My experience was not very good with Anemi house, starting from Expedia, I booked a villa for 6 people and it said that my reservation was for 2 when I paid a high price, then the owner Dimitris charged us the difference, because according to him he charges per person. We ended up paying more than $2000 for 3 days, surrounded by construction noise around us, when you want peace and quiet, it seemed very expensive to me. Besides, Dimitris, when I went to give my feedback, he insulted me in front of people on the street, he treated me horrible because I am a woman???? I would never return nor would I recommend it to my friends.

Unfortunately you are the type of the guests you work with strategy for your holidays !!!. Believe me I have seen a lot like you the last 20 years I work in Santorini . The 1200 excellent reviews I have online since 2011 I have this Busines they show who I am and what I am doing here for my guests . From 1st of November till 1st of April in Santorini is construction time is not my fault if they build more and more . But in any case every body they work from 08:30 till 15:00 which the normal in order to don’t bother the guests . I take care of you like family , also your friend if you remember which she was burn all over from the restaurant in Turkey . I was the one I push you to go at the hospital but you didn't do that !!!!In any case I wish all the best for you and please at your future trips just dont do what you did here . DIMITRIS

The best location with the most beautiful views. A beautiful property inside and out! The host Dinitri goes above and beyond our stay was truly wonderful . Dinitri even booked all our dinner reservations at the best restaurants , organised a private tour of the island and a brilliant boat trip. Highly recommend you book Anemi House what a wonderful Mini honeymoon and experience we had. Anemi house and the host are Exceptional!

The host is super nice and offers help in transportation arrangement. The sunset view from the balcony is stunning. The jacuzzi is filled with hot water in Apr. The apartment is clean and equipped with a kitchen. We have a great stay here and feel welcoming.

we loved this unique cave house we spent one night in it. it had a large living room, one bed and one bath room with a kitchen. small front yard but it was a perfect spot to watch fantastic sunset. it had an ideal location with only a couple of minutes walking distance to the best of sightseeing of oia. The owner Dimitris greeted us at parking lot and helped us to carry luggage and said goodby to us in person when we left. he tried his best to make his place eco-friendly to welcome tourists from all over the world. I will stay there again if I visit Oia next time and strongly recommend Anemi house and Villas to our friends when they stay in Oia.

Dimitris and his staff are absolutely the best! We arrived early and they stored our luggage for us and then moved it to the house once it was ready for us. Dimitris is like the energizer bunny, energetic, very knowledgeable, friendly and fair. He can arrange tours for you and prices are fair! He recommended a few things for us to try and they were excellent. The home is so dreamy. Overlooking the cliff, just steps away from all the key sights in Oia. Welcome package from the Anemi House included bottles of water, juices, milk and wine….yes one of the famous Santorini wine. One can tell how good a person is and watching Dimitris greet the locals reassured us we are in excellent hands. Thank you Dimitris, Panos and Jonys! 10/10 in our book!

This hotel room was exceptional. Beautifully decorated with thoughtful amenities. The view of the Caldera was spectacular as this room is situated up on the cliffs overlooking the water. Dimitri, the owner, was a pleasure. He added the personal touch of explaining all there is to see, and then left it up to us to decide. He then made transportation arrangements using his own clean comfortable vehicles with a driver, Panos, who was so nice and professional. I would stay here again - enough said. Thank you Anemi House. Your the best.

The property is at a very good location overseeing the water and having a sunset view. It is hard to get to it though if you have mobility issues like we did. Demeetri is a great host, very helpful and honest and his communication is very prompt.

WOW! All the hype you see in the reviews is absolutely legit! Dimitris was OUTSTANDING! Just so you know the background - he built these 5 villas from scratch one by one and came to Santorini from Athens with €60 euros in his pocket! He was funny, kind, knowledgeable, accurate, transparent and the absolute BEST HOST one could ask for! He came to get us right at the post office and clearly knew every single person on the walk from the car to the villa itself. During the walk he showed us all the restaurants we could get 25% discounts at within 5 minutes of the villa - we ate at most and they were spectacular! The villa itself…. we splurged on the room with the private hot tub on the balcony and the most epic sunset view - best money we ever spent on a room! The bed was very comfortable, shower and bathroom worked great and even small details like the espresso machine for the morning produced some really good coffee, which we enjoyed on the balcony as the city woke up! Dimitris then drew out on maps for us of everything to do on the island, the most cost effective transport and the bigger touristy spots to avoid if we desired! Throughout our stay he was immediately responsive and answered any questions we had. He got us cheaper rates on the ATVs if we needed and even gave us a ride from the city to the port for cheaper than anything we could find! Dimitris is just one of the most genuine, compassionate and giving people AND WE CANT WAIT TO STAY AGAIN! :)

Could not ask for a better property / host. The sunset that hundreds come to the North side of Oia for each day, you get to see from the privacy of your own balcony / jacuzzi. It is in a quiet but still extremely convenient part of town and there’s no part of Oia or the island that I’d rather stay. There are all the amenities you could need in the traditional cave style house. My only small knock is that the bathroom is a bit small, but if you’re not tall and forgetful like me it shouldn’t be an issue. Dimitris, the host, is as good of people as you’re going to find. He recommends the best places to go, makes reservations at popular restaurants for you (they all know him and will give you the best tables), is responsive/eager to help, and organizes transportation to and from the airport and around the island. He truly makes the experience better - we hadn’t planned a single thing before we went and walked away with many experiences we will never forget thanks to him. If you’re looking to stay in Santorini you’re not going to find a better place to stay!

We stayed at Anemi house and villas for one night. Dimitri’s hospitality, sunset views and beautiful villa just blew our mind. Dimitris was nicest host ever, he arranged for our reservation to watch the champions league game, transportation and luggage. Sunset views are stunning from the Villa itself, possibly the best spot in OIA. Villa is really beautiful with all the amenities provided. Overall top rated stuff!!

Best stay in Oia
Santorini was my favorite island of my trip and it had a lot to do with this villa and our host, Dimitris. The villa is beautiful and very spacious. We were a party of 7 people and enjoyed all the amenities of the place. The bathrooms and bedrooms are spacious and provided with everything you may need. The outdoor patios (5 sections to enjoy) were all very comfortable and perfect for early morning or late afternoon hang outs. Great location on the Oia strip and close to so many great restaurants. Dimitris was a wonderful host. He has great recommendations on what to do and where to eat on the island so ask him before you start booking places. He is very responsive and super helpful to find transportation if you need.

Dimitris is an excellent host and responded very quickly to all my messages. He even provided a free bottle of wine in the fridge! :-) I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious and bright the place is, despite being an atmospheric "cave" villa. It even had a rooftop terrace with 2 nice chairs in a perfect position to watch the sunset, just a short walk away where all the tourists go to see basically the same view. Everything was very clean. Really great water pressure in the shower. Hot water and air conditioning both worked very well. Fast wifi. Overall, 1 of the most memorable vacation lodgings that I have ever had. Would definitely recommend!

Ameni house is an amazing place to stay. The owner, Dmitris provides superior customer service. My wife and I had booked a room in the largest villa owned by Dmitris. As it turned out we were the only people staying there during our stay, so Dmitris gave us the use of the entire villa for the price of a single room. That included 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, living room, office, and fully equipped kitchen which was stocked with wine, juice, milk, cofffee, various teas, cereals, and other items. The villa has a large hot tub, multi-story roof with magnificent views, especially of the famous Santorini sunset. We also took advantage of his airport transfer service which I highly recommend. If you staying in Oia in Santorini, this is the place to stay. It's very high rating is very well deserved.

The perfect place to stay! This is truly the best location on the island. Our 5 star review started even before our trip with the wonderful communicatin from Dimitri. The Villa was a perfect Santorini experience, beautiful and pristine! We were in the Lover's house and even in February, the hot tub was HOT! Dimitri and his staff are first rate. We will recommend this property and will certainly be back to rent the large villa for a family vacation.

Everything about our stay was perfect...the location, the room, the amenities. However, what makes it all over the top is Dimitris and his team. He was so responsive and went above and beyond in so many ways. My wife and I both felt like he was genuinely devoted to making sure our experience while in Santorini was the best it could possibly be. We had initially planned to tour the whole island, but we ended up not leaving Oia. Everything you need is steps away from the room. Dimitris knows all the best places for food and drinks. The best part about the room is the front row seat, but still private, to the sunset. Our favorite thing was hanging out down in Amoudi bay on the rocks, swimming in the crystal blue water, and diving off the cliffs.

Everything about Anemi is better than listed. The sunset views from top floor. The heated “pool” on the main level. The location Inc Oia and most importantly The communication. Transportation to and from was coordinated. My group wouldn’t stay anywhere else if any of us were to return.

We stayed in the Anemi House, a lovely cave-style house built into the mountain. The house was amazing, with great furniture and style. There was a million dollar view from the private patio in the front of the house, and our 12 year old daughter liked the cool little perch (over the front door) where she could sit, read, snack and watch the sea. The house had a small kitchen, large bathroom and even a washing machine. The owner, Dimitris, is an incredible host. He went out of the way to make our stay very special and was available to us for any questions we had. Oia is very, very crowded, so it was nice to escape the crowd in our sanctuary (and the sunset view is fantastic from the house).

My family absolutely loved staying here. The villa was amazing with spectacular views of the caldera complete with blue domes and windmills. It was literally footsteps away from everything you could possibly need in Oia and was the perfect location. The pool was heated which was perfect for our stay in April and the kids loved being in it. The best part of the whole vacation was having such a wonderful host as Dimitri who arranged everything for us including some fabulous meals and a great tour of the island, and he was always available to help. We have travelled all over the world and this was by far one of the best places we have ever stayed.
