We loved the service, breakfast and the pool. The room was very small but adequate and it was really clean. Great location as well.

Nice hotel, good price and location
Breakfast pretty good, good selection. Fantastic location, walkable into town. Only criticism.....there were some noisy guests late at night, but this probably bothered me because my room was near the lobby. Overall, a very nice hotel at a very good price, would recommend.

Fantastic hotel.
The Lato hotel is amazing. It has everything you want, great rooms, the staff were lovely, especially Jeanette who runs the bar, the view from our balcony fantastic. The breakfast was good and the location perfect.

Small hotel, great service, short walk to centre of Ag Nicholaos, lovely restaurants close by. Well placed for bus to Elounda & Plaka. Lovely views of the bay from balcony

The breakfast here was delicious and had a fantastic variety, I'd go back just for that! The beds were quite hard and the twin size was hard to adjust to, but it was clean! I'm just a big baby when it comes to firm beds. The bathroom was great and clean as well! I would recommend to people traveling in the area for an affordable option!

Very good value. Very nice grounds and excellent personnel. About a 20 minute walk from the center of Agios Nikolaos. Cleanliness was beyond reproach.

Away from downtown, quiet, very good service
15-20 minute walk from downtown isp,easy to enough along the seaside. Very good breakfast with variety and homemade baking. Relaxing common areas of the hotel (terrasse, breakfast room, pool, lobby). Room was fine, nothing exceptional but decent, though poor wifi for the room.) Staff was very service minded and accommodating. Bathroom just had basic amenities.

Looked great from outside but once inside very ordinary. Staff o.k. reception helpful with directions etc. The room was a lot smaller than I thought it would be and the facilities advertised in the room were not there. Tea and coffee was not replenished daily and the bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast was average and lukewarm. This place seemed to suit the English who are happy to stay in one place and not venture out for more than 5 minutes. I would not stay here again and I am sure there are better places around the area.

Another wonderful holiday at the Lato!
We have stayed in the Lato Hotel several times. It is simply the best value hotel I know. The staff are friendly and helpful, the bar prices are very reasonable and the pool well maintained. It is clean, quiet and is in a perfect location, with stunning views. The number of returning guests is testament to the hotel's well deserved popularity.

Great little hotel
Stayed at the Lato with Daughter and two grandkids. Great little family hotel, good brekkie with homemade yoghurts and jams etc. Good smallish pool to cool off for everyone. great little bar and good value lunches

Great place for your holiday!!!
Wonderful beautiful hotel, with it's own garden and swimming pool, with a cosy bar, just on your way to Spinalonga fortress. Some quite nice restaurants nearby, 3 min from the beach and 10 min from the main bus station. Outgoing nice personnel, very clean rooms with a balcony, electric teapot, fridge and many other useful things. The guys at the reception were really helpful and kind, they even let us check in 4 hours before the official check in time. If we have a chance to visit this place again we'll certainly choose this hotel!!! And we'll strongly recommend it to our friends, cause the impressions were fantastic.

Inexpensive Beach Holiday
Lato is located a short walk outside Agios Nikolaos, a charming resort town. It's not an exclusive resort, but a comfortable and amazingly inexpensive place to stay and to serve as a base for exploration of the beautiful beaches and historical treasures in the surrounding countryside. Service was friendly. The breakfast buffet was rudimentary, the lack of fresh fruit unusual for Crete, and oriented toward the many English visitors (i.e. featuring baked beans and sausages). Views of the bay and town from the room and the pool terrace were stunning.

hotel bien placé, chambre une peu petite et équipement un peu vieillot. Mais tout ca est très bien compensé par une personnel complètement disponible et la bonne humeur des clients (pas mal d'anglais) à l'heure du happy hours du bar de la piscine.

Très bel hôtel à l'entrée d agios Nikolaos côté ouest. On peut y passer la journée sans hésiter. Le petit déjeuner est très complet. Piscine très propre. Terrasse privative. Chambre très propre.

Hôtel sympathique, chambre agréable, vue superbe sur la mer, le buffet du petit déjeuner offre un choix varié et bon. Possibilité de le prendre devant la piscine. Le seul moins est que le personnel n'est pas très souriant et ne dit pas bonjour...
