Be Warned of this Hotel!
We booked three bedrooms as a family. The hotel has very old and out dated furniture and amenities. Room pillows, sheets and towels are extremely old! They were ripping apart. Even with all of this the hotel reception had the audacity of accusing us of taking their towels. Horrible customer service! The cleanliness has a lot to be desired. Bathrooms lacked soap, shampoo or conditioner as well. The only good thing about this hotel was the doorman. Excellent person! Very friendly to everyone who came in to the hotel.

I have work my self in the hospitality business the greeting needs to in prove with the number one rule make the client welcome there was a lack of friendly ness it felt like you had to beg for a smile from the reception area one of the Clerks was nice I asked for a cab driver he fluted with me and the pool area needs fixing the pictures on web is not when you go there the restaurant has a man Carlos that was rude to my sister but Miguel in the restaurant made up for being curtious the room didn’t have a chair the sheets are full the pool needs cleaning our room needed dusting and they told me I had yo ask for a towel for the pool it’s crazy I took pictures so you could look in improving the hotel this hotel could be great and the sauna was closed they only open it if you ask so I’m with my bathing suit and have to go yo lobby to get sauna open

After check in we found a note in the room saying no hot water for 3 days so we immediately checked out and re-booked the Ibis Style Malecon hotel with ebookers. We will be requesting a refund from ebookers for Ramada hotel.

The property described is not what was presented. The room was old bathroom was worse. The bed only came with a thin sheet and a thin blanket in the closet. The blanket was smaller than the mattress and had to get a second one. The bathroom was hysterical…the shower was encased in a very small bathtub in the corner. Mouldy tiles and mould around the sink facets. The only good thing was the shower had strong water pressure with lots of hot water. The breakfast was good but with limited options. Fresh fruit and delicious coffee was plentiful. Staff doesn’t speak English which made it difficult to check in. The use of a translation app was necessary as my Spanish was limited. Overall the hotel is rundown and in need of upgrades. But for one night stay it was ok.

It is right in front of the Malecón, a beautiful and safe place to walk and with panoramic views. Good buffet breakfast and friendly staff. Needs to update the towels.

Good location front of Malecon, clean and spacious room, elevator. Parking available next to the hotel for $10 per night. No clear window inside the room you can't see nothing outside. Staff is ok and breakfast excellent.

The property is located across the Malecon lots of Stores. But recommend any other hotel than this one. Is the worse, all night bathroom shower leak. Bathroom floor extremely wet, asked for another room. Did not accommodate to another room Never offered another room or to fix the drip. 15 Nightmare days.

The Ramada is a older hotel. It has three things going for it..location location location. Certainly could use a facelift. Rugs lighting etc. etc. The food leaves a lot to be desired. But the staff is very kind and helpful. And for the price it is a good value
