The room facilities were good but not perfect, however when we told the reception what the problem was they resolved it straight away. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Location was ideal for seeing Haarlem and the surrounding area.

Location is ideal. Hotel personnel very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping rush thru cleaning my room. I opted out of having them clean the room until after I checked out.

We didn’t have any heat and they were well aware of that because all of the space heaters were in use for other rooms. This lasted the whole time we were there, although we did have a space heater for 2 of the nights. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of this fabulous town. They did have a fairly good selection on their breakfast & it was adequate. Get there earlier if you love pastel de nata! I do have to say that the front desk staff was excellent & very friendly.

The shower is dangerous. Very slippery. The mattress on the bed was at an angle, sloping to one side.

Festive break
My friend and i stayed at this lovely hotel for 1 night, i have stayed before with my husband. We found the staff very friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The room was very clean and very comfortable. Beautiful entrance and foyer with a fabulous staircase and stained glass ceiling. We will be back, thank you to all staff.

Haarlem delight
Great location near Haarlem Centrum. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was great too. Staff was friendly and helpful.

A very good hotel in a great position.
The first two nights were not so good. We had a deluxe room at the front of the hotel which was very noisy. We then moved to a smaller room at the back which was much better. Most of the staff were very nice except for one lady that wasn’t very pleasant when we asked for a recommendation of where to go to visit.

It is extremely well sited for exploring Haarlem, and walkable to the main railway station. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Fantastic breakfast selection. The only downside is that rooms on the front can be very noisy from street activity, especially early mornings. We eventually asked for a change of room from the front to the back which they did without any quibble, and it transformed our stay. Very happy to stay there again.

Absolutely fabulous staff. Can't beat the location. Near all the pubs and restaurants. Around the corner from Sint Bavo Church. Enjoy the city market on the other side of the church on Saturdays. Back side of the hotel is on the Spaarne Canal. You thought you loved Amsterdam . . . just wait until you meet Haarlem.

Most of our rooms are designed diffrerently. Sad to read about the expierience.We hope we can welcome you again in the future, in one of our suites they are located on the backside of the hotel.

Tulip Festival 2023
Very relaxing and made to feel welcome. Ideal location for a restaurants and cafes. Easy access to the hotel and not too far from the train station. Couldn’t hear any noise from outside even with the visiting funfair just down the road in the town square. Would recommend and stay again.

The location was excellent, its in the heart of Haarlem with tons of shopping, bars, cafes, and resturaunts everywhere. It's close to all the museums as well. It is a bit of a walk from the train station but its worth it to be in the heart of Haarlem.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and made our stay a great experience. The hotel is located in a great location with parking next to the hotel and the market place just 100M away. The hotel is well equipped for a long stay with a refrigerator, coffee maker and hot water pot.

Would definately stay here again. Everything you need is close by. Also, there is a off-property garage very close (didn't use) if desired, that is not part of the hotel.
