The hotel is fine with spacious guest rooms and very friendly and helpful staff.It could do with a refurbishment ,but other than that I have nothing negative to say.

Not as expected
The hotel was not as expected, the check in process took a liitle long, not sure why when my reservation had already specified the "suite" I requested. After going upstairs to the rooms we were given I had to go back down because the room didn't have a bath tub which was one of the reasons I booked a suite. We were then given a room with a bathtub but it smelled weird, and unpaired. The plaster around the tub was peeling and the bathroom door wouldn't close unless you pushed and locked it. I think the entire room could do with a bit of updating. The one bright spot was the the bar, restaurant and breakfast buffet staff were very helpful and accomadating. For breakfast we had great service from Pankaj Bora. He was super helpful and very accomadating.

Will stay again
Hotel still maintains Holiday Inn standards if a little jaded around the edges. Service in all areas very acceptable. Lobby bar is great for the traveller offering excellent service and a good selection of bar food. Ideally located for local factories. Will stay again!

Reasonable for the price
The location is good. The hotel is next to the mall and walking distant to metro. The only problem is the limited choice for foods at the hotel restaurant.

English is not their forte, they asked me if I wanted a good view and I was sent to the 21st floor, I thought about the great view,however,it was ugly due to the fact that I was looking at construction sites,and not only that but also noices due to work done.

Good but short stay. Unfortunately no international TV channels in room and the wifi wasn't working in the gym, the hotel has been notified.

Great stay in Hangzhou
Excellent staff service. Though they are more proficient in Mandarin than English. Very enthusiastic. Eg. the concierge arranged an airport transfer for us, he made sure that all are taken of before we left for airport. Not much to see around the area. Good to take the metro to West Lake for sightseeing.

Not good for a business trip!
The reason I selected this Hotel was my previous experience.However, in the last three years it looks they have worsen.My room, in spite of the fact I requested NO SMOKING got filtered smoke.The TV was not working,only Chinese channels, only after my third complain I got an explanation of what to do. THE INTERNET SERVICES WAS SO POOR THAT I CHANGED ROOMS. I thought it was going to solve the issue.As a result my MOTHERBOARD GOT FRIED.Was it the Hotel, the Censors of their system? Not even SKYPE worked!! NEVER AGAIN!! I am not going back to that place!!

Clean Hotel Near Metro Station
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff, especially Eason, was super friendly and was able to communicate clearly in both Mandarin and English. Staff was timely in meeting our requests for extra towels and ice, in addition to satisfying our request to have non-smoking rooms. Tip: If you're in a time crunch, there's a BreadTalk bakery attached right to the hotel with equally friendly staff.

Business trip to China
When I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by very friendly English speaking staff. The room was a little small, but all the comforts you would expect from a Holiday Inn. There is a very large shopping plaza attached to the building so you can get out a bit and eat some western food too! Pool is nice, gym is a little basic but everything I needed. Best point of the hotel in my opinion is the circle bar, you will find many expats there each friendly and chatty, meaning you can always sit down at the end of the day and relax in comfort with someone else who speaks English whilst in the middle of China.

Mediocre at best
Not a good location in Hangzhou for anything other than business. Staff at the restaurant was terrible. Asking for a water refill met with complete indifference. Ordering a coke we were told "sold out". I've never, ever, EVER been to a restaurant that does not have a coke. The staff was clearly aggressive towards us, for what reason we could not determine. We were the ONLY party in the dining room at this time and had to wait 10 mins or more for anything. An awful experience, I shall not return to this hotel.

TV didn't work properly
The remote control did not work properly. I had to struggle numerous times. I got a channel in only out of about ten times. My stay at the hotel was spoiled because of this. They use a TV called a Philips Institutional TV. It is NOT user friendly. I pressed the language button on the remote and it did not work. There were instructions at the bedside but they did not apply to the model remote that I had. Otherwise, the hotel was perfect.

Nice, Clean Hotel Far From Hangzhou
We booked this hotel because it looked somewhat close to Hangzhou. We were very disappointed to find that it's actually quite far from it (about a 100 CYN cab ride each way). However, if you are not looking to travel around Hangzhou, then this hotel is a great price. Very clean, modern, and the staff is friendly.

Excellent service, food, facilities and great value, but this location is only for business people who need to be in Xiaoshan Industrial Zone; ot for those who come to see Hangzhou for touristic purposes
