Harbor Springs Cottage In The Woods

Cottage on 80 acres surrounded by Nature. Minutes from downtown Harbor Springs.
This cozy cottage in the woods is just minutes from the famous Tunnel of Trees, downtown Harbor Springs, and beaches. It's tucked away in a forest so you'll enjoy lots of peace and quiet. The yard is spacious and welcoming to picnics, the patio brings everyone together for campfires, and the inside has lots of vintage charm.

There's just enough room to sleep four guests (we provide an air mattress), but a great fit for a couple. The Harbor Cottage is the perfect retreat Up North for making lasting memories. Take the time to enjoy the surrounding nature, the dark skies, and bright stars. Take some time to walk one of the nearby trails on our property.

A few things to note:

- Limited cooking: air fryer (essentially a countertop convection oven), microwave, coffee maker, toaster, small refrigerator. PLEASE plan accordingly. Thank you

- Because of the remote setting, WiFi and cable tv are not available. We do have a flatscreen and dvd player.

- Charcoal and firewood provided.

A step back in time
This cabin was so cute! It was like stepping back in time to the 1920 and 30s. If your looking for a place to get away from it all, this is the house. The bed was comfy. It was close to downtown harbor springs with the best chia latte I have ever had. The house was very clean and the hosts were very helpful and kind. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing stay in the woods
This property is perfect for a "get away" from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We greatly appreciated the solitude of this little house in the woods. The house is tidy and warm and close enough to all of the things that we wanted to see and do. From here, we toured the Tunnel of Trees, visited Harbor Springs, Petoskey and even Mackinaw City. Great 3 night stay.

I really enjoyed staying at this cabin. It felt like home away from home. Karen was very good at communicating before and during our stay. The cabin is well maintained and looks better than the pictures! The property is peaceful and has trails to walk on. Absolutely beautiful and is a great place to unplug and just enjoy nature. Will definitely be back very soon!!

Everything was perfect! Absolutely perfect! Even though there is plenty to do, we couldn’t wait to get back to the cottage to relax and read. Such a great little place. We loved every minute of it and Karen is just the BEST!!!! We can’t wait to go back and walk the trails through the property; it rained while we were there, but we did get to enjoy a glass of wine on the porch! Next visit, grill outside, start a fire outside, walk the trails! Karen and Roland, cant thank you enough for the perfect, quiet, cozy stay!!!

This stay exceeded expectations! This beautiful cottage was absolute perfection! We found ourselves eager to get back home after a long day of exploring. Karen greeted us at check in and was beyond kind. She provided lots of recommendations and offered whatever help we might need. We felt extremely comfortable and couldn’t get over how cute the place was. The location was phenomenal! Close enough to town, and far enough to enjoy the quiet. Everything we needed was provided in the house (cooking utensils, towels, soap, toilet paper) We fit a good selection of food in the fridge as well. We couldn’t have loved the place more, and would love to stay here again. Thank you so so much for creating such a serene place to stay.
