Perfect Location
The house was perfect for our family ski trip. So close to nubs and highlands. It was extremely cozy and had all the amenities we needed. Would definitely stay here again. My only negative is with all the rooms on the downstairs floor, steps above can get a little loud in the morning. But we were up early to ski anyway so was not a big deal.

Great Michigan retreat
Even with an unusual lack of snow, there is plenty of hiking and other activities in the area. The cabin is well equipped and comfortable. When we stayed last time, there was plenty of snow and the plow was great at keeping up so we could get to the slopes and back.

Peaceful and relaxing
The house was clean and cozy. Not far from town but very private, quiet, and peaceful. We appreciated all the amenities, and found nice little touches like supplies for making S'mores. The host was easy to communicate with, made sure our check in went smoothly, and when rain was forecast, came by to clean the leaves off the porch and drive so the grounds would be less slick.

Quiet repreive
This property is beautiful. The house is well appointed and the owners include everything needed to make your stay comfortable, including french press coffee and a cappuccino maker among other things! I didn't get to use it, but there is a wonderful fire pit in the back yard. I stayed at this property over Thanksgiving last year and came back for 3 weeks in May. I hope to return again for another extended stay.

The photos tell the whole story. This VRBO covers all the bases from the kitchen appliances (coffee is absolutely the best), comfortable beds, to the available snow shoes for winter fun on the trails on the property. Extremely clean and very cozy.

Everything was clean and ready to use. House was cozy and quiet. Drive way was plowed everyday when we were there due it snowing. Rental had all the kitchen equipment needed to make a nice meals. There is a nice deck ; however, it was not cleared of the snow so we could not use it. However, we were there when there a storm warning - and too much snow for us to shovel. - so look forward to using it next time ! The CK in and CK out process was smooth. There was not anything negative to say. We would definitely stay again.

Visited with family in the Petoskey area celebrating mom/grandma’s 85th birthday. She skied with us at Nubs Nob. It was a quick weekend trip but we enjoyed every moment. The rental was well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Would definitely come back.

Nice Up North Spot
Great cozy place with a Log Cabin feel. We stayed for three nights and did some skiing at Boyne Highlands. Location was excellent! Everything at the place was clean and very well stocked. I have stayed in many rental places over the years and this place had the best stocked kitchen we have experienced. Darcie was a pleasure to work with and was on the spot with communication.

Wintertime Beauty!
This is a great house. Very clean and perfect location with wonderful outdoor scenery. The host was wonderful to work with and even salted the driveway after it snowed during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with complimentary coffee, s’mores and popcorn.

Fabulous Fall weekend in Amazing Cozy Cabin
The photographs of this charming cabin does not do it justice. The home was absolutely stunning surrounded by woods with much privacy but conveniently located to Habor Springs and Petosky. We loved the trail that lead into the woods from the backyard. You can tell that the host truly cares about the guests and their overall experience. The home was well-appointed with everything you might need for a cozy weekend: s’mores kit, fire wood & fire starter for both fire pit and fire place and every single toiletry you can imagine: great quality soaps, shampoo, bathrobes…. We could go on and on about how amazing this place is. We have a Vrbo home and are for certain going to use some of the ideas from this experience - amazing! We will be back! We loved it!

Wonderful brief stay up north!
The cabin was perfect! Clean, in good condition, and all the amenities were well thought out. The hiking trail behind it was an unexpected nice addition. Owner very responsive when I had a couple questions. Great location just a mile north of Boyne and Nubs Nob, and within 10 min of Harbor Springs or Petoskey. Would highly recommend and will stay again in the future!

A Northern Michigan Gem!
This turned out to be an ideal spot to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The home is cozy, comfortable, immaculate and equipped with top end accessories and decorating. Fun peaceful Atmosphere
It’s a great place to get away for a bit. Hosted a get together here, Kitchen was well stocked with Pots and pans, plates, appliances, utensils etc. The beds are very comfortable as well. Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Northern Michigan

Excellent Stay PLUS All the comforts of home!
What a terrific stay here as Darcie’s guests. Her home and setting are so beautiful. The open floor plan in the main living area was so key to our family time together and the beds were super comfy - but the best part was not lacking anything from a household perspective. All the kitchen utensils and appliances we needed, Towels, toiletries, toilet paper, paper towels, extra pillows and blankets, movies, firewood for the fire pit, chairs for outdoors, outdoor games, S’mores! There was nothing Darcie didn’t think of. When I say the beds were comfortable, I mean the mattress, sheets and down comforter too. Each bedroom was so comfy. We loved how private the site was, and how beautiful the trees were that surrounded the property. We loved how close it was to get to Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Indian River… many places to explore each day without having to go for really long drives. We have stayed in several rentals over the years and this was by far the best in terms of being furnished and supplied with items that weren’t obviously hand-me-downs or “on its last leg” type items. My favorite part of the stay was that Darcie checked in by email on day 2 to see how things were going and if we needed anything. Not intrusive, but truly caring. We were so impressed with her whole attention to detail. We would definitely recommend staying here!

The house as everything we needed and more. The owner has done her homework on a great VRBO. The mattresses and pillows were super comfy, plush robes to use on our stay, and luxurious Aveeda products. Wonderful private hiking trials right from your backyard. We picked raspberries along the hike and then had s’mores around the fire at night. Just wonderful!

A wonderful getaway cabin!
This cabin is a real rental treasure! We stayed there for several weekends and had an amazing experience. Rental description is completely accurate and the facility exceeds all expectations. All the appliances are modern and work flawlessly. The cabin is very cozy and clean. Outside patio is huge and has all the outdoor furniture you could ever want. The backyard is far from any roads and it is perfect for kids of all ages to explore and have fun, while the parents can easily observe them. The property feels secluded enough to eliminate any noise from traffic, but it is just over 10 minutes from Harbor Springs and Petoskey. My entire family was delighted to spend time at this cabin and I highly recommend it!

An amazing vacation rental!
We had a five star experience at this amazing vacation home! Everything from booking to all the communications with the host was quick, effortless and flawless. The location of the home allowed us to have plenty of quiet time, while being only 15 minutes from Petoskey downtown. The home is clean, cozy and it is very well taken care of. All the appliances are modern, the bedrooms and the living area are very comfortable and clean. The kitchen is huge and well-equipped. The fire pit, outdoor furniture and a big yard allow for all the relaxation in the world. Our entire family, including the young kids, had plenty of space to enjoy outside and things to do when being inside. The hosts provide all kinds of excellent games and toys for kids of all ages to play inside and out, so they won't be bored, even on a rainy day :). Definitely coming back here again!
