Annual Ski Trip
The Blue Door Chalet never disappoints! Minutes from both ski hills and is nicely equipped with everything you’ll need for a great trip! Can’t wait until next year!

Great place to stay!
The house was perfect for us. It is well-equipped with everything you need in the kitchen. The room at the bottom of the stairs was perfect for changing in and out of snowsport boots and apparel without tracking anything into the house. We would stay here again!

Comfy and stocked
This house had super comfy beds and couch. We enjoyed warming up by the gas fireplace. It was great to have the K-cups for coffee and other household items so we didnt have to pack anything extra like ziplocs, condiments,etc. Close to Nubs and Highlands so we could freely go back and forth during the day.

Great house, great location
The house was perfect for our group! Located conveniently between Harbor Springs and Petoskey and Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands. The home was comfortable and well stocked and perfect for our group. Loved sitting on the deck for coffee! Thank you!

Birthday Getaway
Lots of room and plenty of beds. Kitchen was stocked with anything you need. Large deck for out door grilling. Only cons are, the steep driveway, lots of stairs and the washer makes a loud banging when draining water. But over all 100% great place to stay.

Family ski trip
This property was perfect for our stay. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with large pans, crockpot, etc. We loved how close we were to Nub’s. I would definitely book this place again!

Close to ski hills
Cute little place with a lot of potential. Seems like a nice neighborhood. Convenient to Nub’s Nob and the Highlands. Very steep driveway that is almost unnavigable in the winter with even a small amount of snow cover. We arrived after dark and it took us about 30 minutes and 5 bags of salt to make it up near the garage with a four wheel drive Jeep. We were thankful that the owners left several bags of salt in the garage, but we weren’t anticipating having to salt the driveway upon arrival. Took awhile to locate the “front” door in the dark. Lots of stairs and tight spaces inside, which was fine for us but might be an issue for older or less mobile people. Could use some TLC, but was fine for a couple nights.

Great spot with everything you need
We’ve rented 3 other homes in the area. This one was the best. Plenty of room to hang out - two TV spaces for kids and adults to hang or plenty of room to be all together. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels. Easy access to Nubs. We’ll be back!

Great Family Home
My family and I all enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and the living room is a great family gathering area. It was nice having cable and streaming services on the TV. The house is well stocked and communication was excellent.

It was awesome! We were in for a wedding in Boyne, and it was the perfect weekend spot close to everything harbor Springs. Great family place! Everything went very smoothly.

Cool spot
Place was very clean. Lay out was a bit funky but we enjoyed it. The fact they had dinosaurs, legos and super hero toys was a big plus for the 5yo. Wrap around porch was nice. Location for what we wanted to do was perfect. Overall a nice quiet spot.

Closet to it all!
The blue door chalet was a great home base for our "up north" vacation! From this central location, we were easily able to go biking, hiking, boating, shopping, and star gazing! The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful, and have really gone to a lot of trouble to make your stay a great one! The kitchen has all new appliances and everything you could need (and more!), bathrooms were super clean, and the view from the comfy couch in the family room is fantastic! We especially enjoyed the new grill and patio furniture, HE washer and dryer and access to the garage to store our bikes and other gear! As one review mentioned, one bedroom is an "open loft" as shown in the pictures so be prepared for downstairs noise to carry up to the people sleeping up there, but our kids loved being up there! Also, the kitchen table is a little tight if you have a full house, but we were able to squeeze in together when needed. Thanks, Katie, for all you did to help us have a great trip!

Blue door Chalet
Great home and fair price however we had 4 men golfers. Advertised 4 bedrooms which it has 2 and a loft with beds more suited for kids and and bed in a hallway. So enjoyed home and owner was very nice but more suited for 2 adults rooms and kids.

Great ski weekend
We had a great time at this very comfortable, and impressively equipped house. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a VRBO with a better equipped kitchen for example. Communication was easy and Katie was great to deal with. The driveway is very steep so be careful in the winter.

Great Location
If you’re looking for a place to stay for a ski weekend, look no further! This is the perfect cabin only a few minutes from Boyne Highlands and Nubs. Would absolutely come back!!

Great Ski Retreat in the Up North
We have been visiting the Petoskey and Harbor Springs area for about 20 years for the best Midwest Skiing at nearby Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands. This was our first stay at this location, but we will definitely come back. This house has a great location and includes so much care and detail that it should be the top of everyone's list. It comfortably fit two families with kids and was warm and cozy after some cold days skiing.
