Palms Midtown Getaway, Great Location!

We are nestled in a convenient, accessible Hattiesburg location near some of the city's best attractions & restaurants. This is a family friendly front/main house rental with 2 bedrooms & 1 full bathroom. We can accommodate small & large groups with our comfortable memory foam beds. The open living room and dining area is perfectly cozy. The kitchen has everything needed for long term stays and cooking. We have a LG 55” 4K Smart TV with streaming capability. *See below for more important info!

The space
*This property is divided into two units. This unit is the largest with its two bedrooms, full bathroom, full kitchen, living room, dining room, etc. The back side of this unit functions as another Airbnb but is locked and fully secured and separated at all times. The washer and dryer are shared between the two units of the main house. There is an interior and exterior entrance to access the laundry. There is a small fully detached cottage in the backyard that serves as another Airbnb as well. These three units can be an excellent option to accommodate large families traveling in town, bridal/wedding parties, etc.

Guest access
You are just a few seconds away from Hardy Street and within a few miles of all the local Hattiesburg staples for dining and entertainment! Just a few minutes away from USM, you can be close to campus when traveling in town for any events hosted by Southern Miss. SMTTT!

Excellent communication, horrible condition
The customer service was very helpful. Wr had to add 2 days to our stay & she helped us book another place right away. But this property was not clean. The kitchen should be gutted & totally redone. The tub was gross. And overall it was not clean. It's like the owner tried to get a return on his investment right away, & but opened it without much thought to the condition. It was not cozy or welcoming. We simply slept & dressed there & tried to spend most of our time else where. We will not be booking this particular property again.

Clean, comfortable, great location
Very clean! Super comfortable bed! House has a lot of character and furniture is excellent quality. My only complaint would be the bath towels were quite lacking. There were very few and they were poor quality/old & thin. But I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

It served its purpose for a place for my family and i to rest our heads and be on time for my graduation in Hattiesburg that following morning. It was outdated and needs renovating. The bedding was dusty and didn’t have a clean feel to it. Contacted the owner to see if they had more hand towels since it was at least 7 of us. I never heard back even after our stay. Overall it was ok and definitely needs to some work!

Could Be Better!
First, my communication with the property manger was excellent. Very helpful. I was allowed an early check in that was greatly appreciated. Second, the property overall was ok but really needy a much better cleaning. Pretty grimy. It’s an older property that needs some maintenance. Third, the property is part of a multiple unit rental. My first night was very difficult to sleep because of large group parting right outside my bedroom window from the other units. Very loud with the festivities going on well past midnight. (a Thursday night). Overall, I appreciate the good communication with the property manager, but I won’t be booking this property in the future.
