Cozy cabin by the lake
We have taken many Easter vacations on VRBO--Many times the host has a lot to do with the success of the trip--Without doubt, Sandra was an absolute gem. She answered all my questions and concerns immediately. The Cabin is cozy and perfect for a getaway vacation!

Cute place on the lake
Vrbo The house was on the lake and had the perfect view of the sunset. Unfortunately, we were only able to see one the first night we arrived, because it rained the entire weekend we were there. That forced us to have to spend more time indoors than we had anticipated, and felt it wasn’t as clean as we’d expected. We found an empty beer can on a windowsill downstairs. The Bluetooth speaker wasn’t there or wasn’t accessible and the Roku pin was needed to add channels, and it was unavailable. Again, it was annoying mainly because we were forced to stay indoors all weekend. There was a wood fire pit and lots of things to do outdoors if the weather had cooperated. There was a small gas fire pit outside, but it didn’t work. That would have been nice to sit outside under the covered porch. Ultimately, it was a very spacious open villa and we were thankful for the basement entertainment area. The view is absolutely picturesque! We had a great girls weekend!

I am sorry that there was a beer can missed from a previous guest. The blue tooth sound bar is not one of the things listed as an amenity. But it is there and has been used in past by guests and family. So I’m unsure why you could not get it to work. I apologize for the issues you experienced including the weather

Birthday weekend
Despite the weather, the stay was a great weekend and wish I could’ve stayed longer. The property was in a great location and had wonderful views of the lake. I stayed in several VRBO rentals in the past and decor and furniture was top notch (didn’t feel dumpy or dated at all). I would love to stay there again in the future

The home is situated at one of the widest part of the lake which offered us with great views and wonderful sunsets. We all had a great time with friends and fishing. The owner was very accessible with any questions we had. I would definatly book again.

Great Stay!
Had a nice time away at this lakefront property for our girls weekend. The weather didn't cooperate but the views were even gorgeous in the rain. Loved the fire pit and enjoyed being able to sit by it even though it was raining. Sandra was a wonderful host and communication was great. Would definitely recommend this house for anyone looking for a nice peaceful time away. I can only imagine how gorgeous it is in the summer months!

Great location with incredible sunset view!
We were so impressed with the rustic, authentic charm and warm environment that our VRBO host provided. The location was great; we felt hidden away and yet civilization was just a short distance away. The house provided so many different activities for us but we were so busy with events and activities around the lake, Hawley and Honesdale. Try Boat House, Chop House and the Crazy Country Club in Hawley. Enjoy!

Beautiful Lake House
Everything we thought it would be. Fantastic Sunsets, close to all the events that were happening over the weekend. Also, the dock was great for our 19-foot Bow rider boat. This was our first time using Vrbo, we usually go camping. My wife loved the Chalet and how it was decorated. Will definitely look to book again!

Take in the splendor of Lake Wallenpaupack
This is a quaint cottage tucked into the southeastern shore on the northern tip of the lake. The house is clean and nicely decorated with nature themed baubles and pictures which give the home a nice rustic feel. The kitchen is adequately stocked with cookware with an added bonus of both a gas and charcoal grill. The house is ideal for a sit on the deck, where the beautiful western setting Sun slowly dips right in front of the home as the last glints of sunlight reflect of the water down below. Once night sets in, the fir pit with seating is a great location for closing out an active and fun filled evening. Sandra was a wonderful host and communication was great. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to being on the lake again next year.

Looked just like pictures
We enjoyed our stay. Slightly hard to find off main road but that could be a good thing. We were able to utilize the dock when we rented a boat. Sunsets were amazing. Porch offered great views of the water. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots, and the size was perfect for the 5 of us. Great stay, thank you.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It's a beautiful spot and the sunsets are amazing! I felt like the cabin could use a really deep cleaning and some general updating - especially for the price we were paying. Definitely bring your own sheets and towels! But overall we had a nice stay.

The home is off the beaten path which was a bit hard to find but not crowded. The view was spectacular! I wish the dock was in but out of owners control. Alot of things to do. Loved the pool table.

A very nice house on the lake. Has everything you would need. Shower sliding door needs to be fixed, as does the Key Lockbox. Otherwise, great stay. Highly recommend.

Very nice stay at lovely lakefront house
We had a great stay at the house. The house was very comfortable and the view of the lake was very pretty. Our family really enjoyed the pool table and the casino table. We had some small challenges with finding the house and the keys to check in, but overall a lovely house and fun trip.

Holiday Family Trip
The property is very attractive, and I imagine if rented in the summer months would be far superior to winter months. The pictures are accurate, no surprises at all. The basement is awesome with pool table, poker table, checkers, etc. We spent a lot of time down there. Some recommendations I would make would be to empty one kitchen cabinet, so guests have somewhere to store items. There is extremely limited counterspace and it is hard to prepare food. Some items like a colander, hair dryer, and broom would have been much appreciated. A dining table that supported 6 people, the amount allowed by owner to stay is needed. An ottoman would be great for comfort (doubt this is an issue in the summer months when you spend your time outdoors). The last improvement would be better instruction on how to use the fireplace. We had a great time overall.

Great weekend in the Poconos
The cabin is conveniently located and right on the lake. My sisters and I enjoyed the outdoor deck and watching the sunsets. The cabin was as expected and had plenty of room for all. There are some things that need attention but nothing that affected our stay. I do wish they would not have said that we needed to provide our own linens when we actually didn’t. It took a lot of space in the car and we didn’t even need them. Overall, great weekend getaway.

My husband and I brought our boat for a week of fun and relaxation at this unique, thoughtfully decorated, home with a beautiful view of the lake and sunset. Sandy made sure we were safe and the dock was secured during the storm. Would stay here again.

Adult Ladies Getaway
House was perfect for a ladies week to get away for some quiet time. There was five women in our group which worked out perfectly for the bedrooms. The house was nicely stocked for any cooking we wanted to do and centrally located for those nights we didn’t want to cook. Only negative was beds on the first floor were a little uncomfortable but the view made up for that. We are already talking about coming back for a winter trip with the husbands and one without!

Great location
Great house with recent updates. Sandra responds quickly to questions and is very friendly. Would definitely rent again. A few small updates would go a long way though. As others noted, the kitchen cabinets are all filled with owners stuff, so there was no room for food items. The dock is great but a broken ladder and rocky shoreline make it difficult for swimming access. Otherwise we loved the place.

Cozy Cabin plus Stunning View
This property is beautifully located on the lake with easy access to the water and a wide-open view. Close to restaurants, grocery shopping and the public boat ramp. Neighborhood was quiet (it was off-season) and neighbor directly next door very nice. Driveway big enough to park our trailered boat. We are a foodie family and felt the kitchen could be much better equipped and organized. If location is your priority this is your spot!

Lovely weekend on the lake
We stayed at Sandra's home in mid-May with 4 adults and a 19 month old toddler. The house was exactly as expected, rustic decor throughout and an incredible view! The only thing missing was the dock! I contacted Sandra via email since we had brought our own kayak and planned to rent a boat. Unfortunately it is seasonal, and due to COVID the marina was delayed re-installing the docks for the spring season, so my husband was pretty disappointed since he was looking forward to fishing off the dock. However, Sandra must have followed up again, because we ended up renting the boat for the day anyway and by the time we returned to the house, the dock was there! So it was a very pleasant surprise and we were able to enjoy it for the remainder of the trip. We did have to do some strategic furniture rearranging to help toddler-proof, specifically blocking off the spiral staircase and the stairs while we hung out on the deck. The weather was warm during the day, cool at night, but the temperature of the house remained comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit (BYO wood), and had fun using the pool table and roulette in the basement, which is also great to have if you get some rain like we did. We cooked while we were there and found pretty much everything we needed. Overall, this rental was perfect for us, and we would definitely stay again. Thanks for hosting us!

2nd stay at this beautiful lake house and our family had an amazing trip agai. ~ watching the best view of the sunset, playing in the lake / kayak, eating s’mores around the firepit and game night in basement fun room. While close to shops & restaurants as needed. Will definitely be back in the summer:)

Nice family getaway
We stayed at this cute Lake house for four nights and the sunsets did not disappoint. Even with unusually cold weather the windows and the house allow for views no matter what. We really enjoyed the game room as well. Sandra was great to work with and was available at check in when we needed her and made great recommendations on restaurants. The biggest piece of feedback is that the kitchen cabinets are very full and cluttered and nearly all of the dresser drawers as well so space is a little limited and you have to get creative to make things functional but it didn’t stop us from having a great time.

Perfect Lake Escape
Spent a long weekend at this wonderful home and found it to be the perfect COVID-friendly escape. The house has everything you need to stay entertained - from game tables to fire pits, and the beautiful lakeside views. We loved how every detail of the house felt intentional and you could tell that the owners truly love this property. We arrived during a snowy weekend and were worried about our vehicle on the hilly roads. Sandra helped us find alternate routes to the property and even assured us that she would arrange snow removal to the driveway so we woulnd't get snowed-in. Sandra was very attentive throughout our stay and I think everyone in our group plans on making a return visit!
