A cozy quiet cabin near Denali
We enjoined spending a few nights in this cozy cabin. A very quiet isolated place just a 3 minutes drive from highway and a few more minutes to Denali park entrance. The upper half-floor has gorgeous mountain views. Very clean. Just be aware of ecologic (no running water restroom) - really high tech. Thank you Tommy

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We love the views and peacefulness as well. As for the bathroom, there is running water to the sink and shower. But yes, we have a waterless Separett toilet.

Interesting house and history
We needed at least 2 more chairs for the table and more drinking water. The young adults wanted shades. Easy drive to Denali, restaurants, and the grocery store. We enjoyed the decks!!

We are so glad you enjoyed our wonderful decks! The custom built dining area has 4 bar stools plus enough seating for 5-6 people. We wish you would have taken advantage of that area for your dining/other needs. As mentioned in our cabin information for this season, there was a huge mixup in the manufacture custom making our blinds. We are glad we could provide you all with sleeping masks instead. It’s nice this time of year since there is around 8 hours of darkness for sleeping.

Beautiful view
Nice clean place. Nice location. I wouldn’t want to be there with 8 people. I would say it sleeps 4 comfortably, maybe 5. Overall great experience!

We are so pleased you had an overall great experience! We advertise six different sleeping options that would accommodate eight people. This information is under the “room and space tab.” We are hopeful people will read and understand these options and determine if our authentic and unique cabin will meet their overnight accommodation needs. We invited a family of 9 to stay this summer. They said they had the most amazing time with plenty of room. Thanks for your review!

Nice quiet place in the woods, a bit quirky, but I'd trade all that for having a moose and two calves come in the yard one night and the few of an Alaskan moonrise (15 minutes long)!

Mission trip

Cozy and rustic
Our family of 6 stayed here for 2 nights. It definitely has a rustic feel to it, but it was very clean and we were comfortable here. It's a nice short drive to Denali National Park.

Our cabin experience was a treat! Karla shared the history of the cabin, which was comfortable, nicely decorated, and conveniently located near Denali. We enjoy “walk abouts” around the cabin, looking for evidence of wildlife, playing games which were generously supplied, and sleeping in comfort.

Alaskan Cabin in the Woods
We really enjoyed our stay here with our family (2 adults and 6 kids, ages 2-13). The cabin had plenty of room for our large family, the well-stocked kitchen was really helpful with being able to cook dinner, and everything was so well organized! The cabin is very well located for visits to Denali National Park, as well as various restaurants and a grocery store. We would highly recommend this cabin to others looking for an authentic Alaskan cabin experience.

It was an enjoyable stay. I would stay again and would highly recommend staying here. Very secluded yet 5 minutes from everything you need. So close to the National Park, only 15 minutes. Also Moose came right up to the front door while we were there. They do need to get blinds for the windows as it is light out most of the time I the summer.

Sadly, the blind company didn’t have the blinds in stock as promised so we had to special order them, and we are waiting for them to arrive. We had a wonderful time at the cabin! It is as beautifully restored cabin with a history that is intriguing. Everything is very tasteful. We were able to sit on the deck and enjoy multiple moose sightings as well as beautiful views. It is a slice of paradise within a few miles of gas , food and restaurants. A short drive to Denali National Park allows for access without all of the crowds. We all (ages 12 to 71) loved and would highly recommend for anyone craving the solitude of authentic Alaskan lodging.
