Rock Ledge Retreat near Big Cedar Lodge
The home was as beautiful as the pictures. Stunning renovated mid-century style home with abundance of necessary kitchen dishes, glassware & pots/pans. The wrap-around porch with view of lake and sunset was a real treat. Thank you for thinking of everything to make our stay enjoyable.

Driveway was dangerous. Upon arrival the House was dusty. Could write name on headboard in dust. Under bed was really dusty really gross with 3 spider traps. Grout in master shower needs cleaning. Dirty qtip behind toilet. Even after so called cleaning. Spiders. Sent cleaning crew upon arrival Still not clean. After that, nothing else was done. Inexcusable.

Family Vacation
Had a great time again at Big Cedar. My wife and I looked for a 2 bedroom condo in Big Cedar but seen this property that was just up the hill from where we normally stay. Was very spacious with good views and amenities. I would say the only “issue” we had was the driveway. While there is plenty of space, access to it off the main road coming down a hill can be a little tricky. Once you do it a couple times, it’s no big deal. Will definitely stay here again next year.

The Location Was Perfect.
The location was perfect for my work meetings that were held at the Big Cedar Conference Center. The beds were very comfortable. We have scent allergies, and this place did not have any artificial fragrances from plug-ins and the linens did not smell like fabric softener/dryer sheets. There were stainless steel pans available (instead of just Teflon), and the hot tub was perfect. The only items to improve on would be: (1) A mop or very absorbent rug to use getting out of the hot tub to wipe wet feet on would have been helpful. Or a good mop so we didn't have to use white towels on the floor to avoid getting water in the house. (2) While the floors, linens, tub, etc. were very clean, the couch and all the area rugs were very stained and appeared t/b dirty. This was not a showstopper, but wanted to let you know that these were the only reasons I could not give you a 5-star rating.

No Pool
Listed a pool on the VRBO as an amenity and then we get there to find no pool. Just frustrating because I could of booked a cheaper place that had a pool formy daughters. Asked about some sort of compensation with no response.

Beautiful home
This was a beautiful home with lots of thoughtful amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub and were in a great location to take advantage of SDC and Table Rock Lake. Only downside was how close it was to the main road and the traffic going by.

Nice stay
The house is as shown online. Loved the quality of the home. Everything met our needs except the MBR bedding. The mattress pad protector was plastic which continually causes the sheets to come off while sleeping. As we were packing up, I saw a different pad protector in the closet and now know we should have found that and changed the bedding on Day one. All in all, a good option for our short Branson getaway and do recommend.

Thanksgiving in the Ozarks
Rock Ledge was the perfect place for our group. The house was fully stocked and very comfortable. Made an entire Thanksgiving dinner and all appliances were in top shape! We enjoyed our stay and the only drawback was the noise from the traffic (not avoidable). The driveway is pretty steep so not good for strollers or anyone using an assist device!

Great getaway
We really enjoyed our stay. Wanted to explore Ridgedale and Branson and this was the perfect location. Comfortable and clean property. Incredibly convenient to the attractions of Big Cedar like Devil’s Pool restaurant, Fun Mountain and Top of the Rock. However, our favorite thing we did was Dogwood Canyon - worth the additional drive time to get there, don’t miss it!

Great time
This VRBO has all the comforts we were looking for while in the Ozarks. It was comfortable, well equipped with great beds and features. Only thing we did was play some white noise at night to offset the road noise coming up the hill from Big Cedar. Location was terrific to take advantage of all that Big Cedar offers at a reduced price!

Overall nice property on busy street
I gave 5 stars to reflect the modern amenities, the overall cleanliness of the home, & the ease of dealing with the agency to handle a key code issue upon arrival. While Big Cedar may be "steps away" (it's ~0.5 mi away) it would be a dangerous feat to walk there. The road is too busy with not enough walking room on the side of the road with no one seeming to abide by the 25mph limit. We also experienced "ghost" campfire smells in the house like another reviewer mentioned, but it was not intolerable or constant. The hot tub was a hit with my 20+ year old kids. Last observation was the mouse trap (unset) found under the dresser & mouse kit along with other insect traps appearing old and out of date (all in MBR). I understand mice and insects can be an issue with the wooded lot and on the ground level, it just can be unsettling for a moment when first noticed. (NEVER saw a bug or mouse inside!). Lastly, MBR mattress was very uncomfortable and the bedding did not seem to fit appropriately resulting in each morning waking up with fitted sheet and mattress cover having slipped off both top corners.

This home accommodated our family nicely. Great interior asstetic, large composite deck and relaxing hot tub. Please note, during peak season the road that runs by this house is busy and loud. Not to mention the driveway is a bit difficult, especially in a truck or large SUV

Incredible Property!
We stayed here for a full week with our four children (ages 4-10). We have previously stayed on property at Big Cedar Lodge twice. This rental is PRIME location if you are wanting to do all of the things Big Cedar has to offer, at half the cost. The home is beautifully decorated and totally exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Rock Ledge Retreat
The pictures represent the property very well. This property was perfect for a getaway for my husband and myself. I would totally rent this again. Like others mentioned, it is on the main road to Big Cedar and it’s a well trafficked highway. This did not bother us but may be an issue for some if sleeping in the main floor bedrooms.

Perfect accommodations, even with a toddler
The property is a perfect location with beautiful views. My wife and I brought our 2 1/2 year old little girl with us and it was perfect for her. The rooms have blackout curtains, perfect for naps. The road does have noise, but it wasn't an issue, even for our daughter's naps. The home is recently renovated and it was done well. It is generously appointed with a Weber Genesis gas grill on the amazing composite 2nd story deck. Property is near the conference center at Big Cedar and very close to Fun Mountain. We highly recommend the property

Super close to Big Cedar
Easy check in, great communication with property manager. location was great and house was exactly as described. Gas grill worked great, kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies and lots of room for 5 adults. It is on a busy road that goes directly to Big Cedar, BUT we got used to it pretty quickly. So don't let that stop you from renting this place. Go to Long Creek Marina for any of your boating needs - they definitely know how to treat customers.

Destination wedding visit
Needed a place for my family to stay while attending a wedding for my niece. Wanted to be close to Big Cedar Resort since the wedding was there. Rock Ledge Retreat was even better than advertised! We all enjoyed our stay immensely and it obviously had been redone since the photos on the site. Would def. stay here again if we ever come back as a family - also the sunsets are amazing from the deck.

This was a beautiful home very close to Big Cedar, which was amazing. However, it is on a very busy street with a lot of road noise. It is not as big as it appears online but very comfortable. It had a very pungent bonfire, campfire smell inside the house that at times was overbearing. It was well stocked with wonderful amenities and the deck made for pleasant morning and evening outdoor dining. Overall, this is a good find!
