“Overall a clean, comfortable hotel to stay in Hong Kong”

Location is right in the centre of Wanchai with many transportation options for travellers. Easy to get to a bus stop, tram stop, supermarkets, local market and eateries. Very busy part of Hong Kong but the hotel room is well insulated and quiet. Housekeeping staff is excellent, we appreciated all their help and flexibility. For the price, you can't go wrong with South Pacific Hotel. We'll go back to this hotel next time.

Hong Kong good place for shopping clothes and electronics devices like computers . in addition, quality and prices in good value I mean not expensive for brand like next door china or neighborhood countries due to no consumption tax for goods in Hong Kong

“Good Hotel”

The Hotel is very well situated near the Causeway Bay tube station. I like everything about this Hotel except the rooms; they are very well decorated and clean but very small. For example you could not get out of the shower without closing the bathroom door. The sleeping area was also very very cramped.

The location is great for leisure. We could see the Times Square from our window. The room was quite compact but everything in Hong Kong is packed so we can't complain. Given the busy location the room was surprisingly quiet. The staff was nice and the cleaning lady very helpful when we asked for lighter blankets. Overall it was a great value and we are likely to stay there again.

“South Pacific. Good allrounder”

The Hotel is situated a short walk from Time Square a farly reasonable shopping / restaurant centre with a tube station underneath (Causeway Bay). its also on the main tram lines which are cheap and fun to ride up top. The Hotel itself I thought would be visible from most of Hong Kong as I'd read somewhere, but its surrounding buildings that dwarf this 28 storey abode. Architectually the building is, as it is run clean and efficient. The reception staff all speak good english and are happy to help even when confused with local british 'slang'. My room was the deluxe room which compared to standard rooms was identical, however we did have a fantastic view of the peak, Happy Valley Race track and a manic road junction below. All rooms were well equiped with the usual tea (chinese tea be warned you'll long for PG Tips), coffee hair dryer and the likes and are cleaned daily providing a complimentary newspaper. There is a meat market on the way to Time square which should be avoided by the faint hearted. Overall a decent stay.

Older hotel (which most likley keeps the rates down a bit) but still in reasonable condition. Great location near Wanchai and Causeway Bay. Typical Hong Kong small room. But has a desk (for my computer) and wifi for the all important internet connection in the room.

Rooms with view makes the difference, as some have terrible views, room size to small. Perhaps price has to do with it.

“Close location to Times Square and the MTR”

The service staff at the hotel is very accommodating, they responded to my requests almost immediately. The room itself was kind of small, but that is to be expected from hotels in Hong Kong. The only drawback were that the beds are kind of stiff, but overall it was well worth it. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel is located 2 blocks from the Causeway Bay MTR and Times Square, and its close to many restaurants.

“Good hotel for the money”

At first arrival it was a little less grand than I expected. Even on a non-smoking floor you can smell cigarette smoke. There are renovations going on, so some facilities were not available. When I sat on the bed it was so hard! But, I slept very comfortably. The room was a decent size and clean. The staff was attentive. The location is excellent! I might stay there again if I wanted a safe bet.
