I wan to thank all the team at the Hampton inn for taking care of me during my long stay. Shout out to Jesse and Fatah in the valet parking for making the clients feel at home. To Ivy and the front desk team for bean always available and helpful. I will be definitely coming back to this hotel and would recommended to anyone that likes to stay in downtown houston.

Jesse at valet was awesome and greeted us happily. Check in was a breeze. Staff was helpful with the questions we had and even gave us adjoining rooms we had requested if available. Easy less then 5 minute walk to Minute Maid Park. Will definitely stay there again.

In general, it was fine. But there were a few issues of note: First, the workout facilities were extremely basic. It would be nice to see a little more effort put into them. Second, my first day at the property I was still in bed and a random stranger walked into my room. He was very apologetic and said that the hotel had checked him in to the room. Not cool. That said, the bed was comfortable, rom was spacious and pleasant, breakfast was good, and it's an easy walk to the convention center.

The outlets in the nightstand are so worn out a plug just falls out of them so the outlets are not usable. The shower valve was really sticky and not working correctly. The breakfast was not very good as there were not many options and the food wasn't good.

Great hotel, unfortunately we arrived when all of Houston was closed down due to the weather so we didn’t see much of the city as it was a ghost town but enjoyed our downtime at the hotel doing our washing before we packed up and headed for New Orleans.

At first I did not like the cost of the valet parking but after looking through downtown $30.00 - $40.00 was the average for one time parking. I was able to come and go for the same fee as far as parking and the dining areas are large and clean with lots of options to eat. I was 8 blocks away from my event but was still happy with the stay. Glad I picked this one, oh and the breakfast that was included was delicious with lots to offer. Thank you
