Nice Though Older HotelPosted Jul 19, 2014
The hotel is fine and comfortable, the Buffett and food is good. However the hotel staff could be improved, as well as their checking in system. The keys were deprogrammed and told that we had to have checked out that same night, having checked in a few hours before. Insisted on this and refused to reprogram the key until the person who had done the check in arrived

First Time Disappointment...Posted Jul 9, 2014
For the first time ever, I had a bad experience with the Hyatt brand. There was hair everywhere. Since hair is a hygiene thing for me, to find hair on my clothes, the bed and the sofa every day kinda ruined it for me. I trust that this is an isolated, one time situation.

Hyatt near an airportPosted Jul 8, 2014
It was an alright hotel nothing special. The sound proofing is good as I didn't hear anything from surrounding hotel visitors. The breakfast was better than some other places. The room was on the smaller side only having two double beds and a pull out sofa bed but I did like the 1/4 divide providing some seperation from the two areas hence the name double double but I wouldn't really call it a double double.

Hotel was nice. Needed more large bath towels in my room but they didn't have any clean ones. However, the staff was very friendly. Overall nice hotel

Pros: very nice and clean room
Cons: communication between staff and shuttle driver and customer who calls them
Location: Eat at Jimmy's - great Louisiana food
Waited at the airport for more than an hour for the hotel shuttle. I called them three times and finally they said that I need to take the taxi to the hotel. Just make wasted more than 1 hr at the airport and all they have to do was better communication between hotel staff and shuttle driver to understand that there was problem picking up customore at the airport.

A bit disappointingPosted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: Rooms were clean, bedding was appropriate.
Cons: Serve coffee, have shuttle to meet all of the needs of people. Also if 6 people check into a room, have 6 towels!
We landed in Houston expecting to get on the shuttle, however due to our plane being late, the hotel does not run a shuttle after 11 p.m. so we had to use a taxi. Then the shuttle was full for the departure time the next day, therefore we had to once again pay for a taxi. We expected at the VERY least to have some coffee however you have to pay extra for that, there is no breakfast included in this. Hotel staff are rude, and disrespectful, I would not recommend this hotel, due to price and what a person gets for it, oh and it would appear if you book off expedia there is a negative tone by staff.
Average HotelPosted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: Not too much.
Location: Not too much nearby, seafood resturant is good in front of the hotel
Found hotel to have few services and also poor reception for WIFI and Internet. Rooms were nice, Air Conditioner did not work very well.

OverallPosted Jun 9, 2014
Cons: Throw a little variety of items in breakfast. Make EGGS and bacon separately that way Folsk like me who do not eat pork product can still enjoy EGG
Location: Airport, Greenspoint Mall, Several parks etc
The breakfast scene was utter chaotic, it seemed they are not prepared. This is not like Hyatt Place that I know. The stuff means well but can use much better supervision.
