The check in was terrible. Did not have our reservations for 4 rooms for 2 nights. The front desk person told us that it is cheaper if we don't use a website to book and then charged us more. I notified hotels.com and the issue was fixed the next day. The room was not very clean and smelled musty.

We really wish you would have let the front desk know about the cleanliness of the room, we could have offered a discount or even switched you to a different room. The place was old and run down and far to costly for what the room was like.
The breakfast was good, the staff were great and accomodating, but the place needs a makeover for the price that we paid

Dirty floors, uncomfortable bed and pillows, room smelled bad, overpriced, when I checked in they said I didn't have a reservation, stained linens.

Good Morning, I am not sure when you stayed at the motel but the last few weeks we have been doing a cold breakfast which includes rolls, yogurt, cereal, toast, and fresh fruit and other things as well. We offer a variety of things for breakfast and we are sorry you couldn't find anything to hit the spot. We do hope to see you for a future stay.

This is an affordable, clean, option! The rooms are cute. It is your basic place to lay your head comfortably for a night.

I am sorry you had to see this, you are correct it is unacceptable. We did have it fixed right away, I hope this did make your stay a little more comfortable. Again, we are apologetic about this situation.
It wasn't clean, there was trash on the floor under the side of the beds, a phone but no phone jack (kinda scary) filth on the inside of the bathroom door like a dog was left in there & toilet seat was broken, no toilet paper! The pics show it. The female manager was very kind, but they obviously need better housekeeping staff.

What a BAD HOTEL ....Not sure if they live there but they had some pretty shady people staying here would never stay again....too scary and in need of repair

The bedding appeared to be new and the carpet was clean as well as the desk top.
The wifi was adequate.
The breakfast was good, but I would like to have dining area open instead returning to my room with the food.
Some minor glitches in the bath area; really need to have a working exhaust fan.
I thought the $120 price was too high for this facility.

The Desk person Natasha was rude and contacted me by threatening me to charge me another day since my daughter had left her clothing there, after 11. am.
I had to cancel my card in order to stop them from trying to charge me another day. Never stay their again I would rather pay higher for nicer staff. Terrible service.

Here at Dakota INN are very sorry you feel like the service was terrible. Dakota INN has rules and guidelines we have to abide by. Your daughter asked for a late checkout which we had granted until 12 pm like she requested. She did not show up until after 3pm for her belongings. We had a guest call and ask for that room for a week and we couldn't rent to to him because the items were left in the room. Check in time for new arrivals are 2pm. You were charged for another day because the room was still occupied at 3pm. We understand that you are upset with a 2nd charge but we also had a guest upset because he couldn't get his requested room.
Hotel is severely run down and neglected. Current owner is extremely rude. Room was clean but everything was old and worn out. Balcony hand rail is falling off the building. Breakfast was terrible, shower is sized for someone about 3 foot tall.

Staff was great! Very helpful and accommodating! I was disappointed with the room as it wasn’t very updated as the picture portrayed. Also the sleeping area doesn’t get very cool because the AC unit is located behind a partial wall by the bathroom. The staff did bring an oscillating fan which helped a lot!
Overall the stay was pleasant!
