The location is slightly further away from the parties, although one night we could hear the music even from our room, but it also was a Saturday night, which is understandable.
We prefer silence & we don't party, so it depends on what matters to you personally when you decide to stay in Hvar.
The room was lovely with a nice spacey bathroom, however the bathroom did have a slightly strange smell. We couldn't understand what it was. It was not a deal breaker for us & shouldn't stop you from choosing this room unless this is very crucial for your stay.
The best and nicest thing was the hostess bringing us freshly home baked apple strudels! It was a pleasant surprise.
This particular room does not have a desk, so if you need to do some work, choose one of the other rooms. I didn't pay attention when booking so I kindly asked the hosts if I could have access to a table somewhere where I could do a webinar from. They were very kind & offered to bring a table from other unused room or to use the other room for that moment.
In the end, I think they accidentally forgot to give me the key to the other room (miscommunication, which can happen to anybody), but I figured it out on my own - there was a round table and a on the balcony so I carried them into the room, it was not ideal as there was not that much space, but it worked for me. The important thing was not the table, but the helpful attitude & intention to help that mattered to me, & I was grateful for that either way.
